Welcome to one of the best locations on the island! We are a legal and licensed vacation rental with the County of Maui. Located just under half a mile (or 5 minute walk) from the beach, surfing, park, restaurants, shops and stores. Our private 1 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage offers complete relaxation for the perfect Maui vacation. There is air conditioning in both the bedroom and living space of the cottage.

The space
Our beautiful cottage is a great choice when looking for a place in Kihei! This is a private detached cottage and it features:

- Modern kitchen with updated cabinets and granite counter tops

- Stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher

- New floors installed in 2025

- 1 large bedroom with a high quality king size bed

- Shared outdoor covered laundry with washer and dryer

- Upgraded split air condition units located in BOTH the living room and bedroom (previously only A/C in the living room as commented by past guests)

- Updated bathroom. The shower and toilet area is quite small. Please consider this if you have mobility issues before booking. To further clarify there is not a lot of space in front of the toilet so your knees may touch the wall while sitting. Also the shower is relatively small with a low shower head. We want our guests to be aware of this before booking.

We are a legal vacation rental with the County of Maui. There are many illegal listings on the island that can cause issues for vacation renters. Our nightly rate includes all taxes that are required to be collected by the state of Hawaii. It is mandatory for us to collect the Hawaii state tax (GE Tax) of 4.16% and the Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT) of 10.25% plus Maui County Tax of 3%. This is included in your nightly rental amount.

Also please note there are a few steps in the home. There is one small step up into the home, one step from the living area to kitchen and two steps up from the bathroom sink to the toilet and shower. The toilet and shower area are a small space. If you have accessibility issues with stairs this home may not be appropriate for you.

Just minutes away are the white sand beaches of Kihei, Wailea, and Makena, known all over the world for their beauty and excellent snorkeling.

Welcome to our beautiful piece of paradise at Coconut Dreams Bed & Breakfast!

Our home offers a wonderful shared indoor and outdoor living spaces with 5 private Bedrooms that have electronic locks. Comforts of home in paradise. Wonderfully equipped kitchen and a Bar-B-Q area outside.

Perfectly located on S. Kihei Rd. A very short walk to the Beach or a few blocks from food, shopping, and a delicious Mai Tai. Easy access to Maui bus lines or a beautiful drive to anywhere your heart desires.

The space
Tiki Dreams Guest Bedroom is the smallest of the three queen guest rooms we have to offer. This room has a Smart TV for your down time and an adjustable bed. You will find a fold up bed tray, suitable for your laptop or Tablet, this makes for a great spot to get some work done, creativity flowing, Read a book, or enjoy some TV time. You will find two beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, boogie board, and a small tote cooler in the room for your use—at no extra charge—while you stay with us. We may also have a couple of SUP's available to loan out.

UPDATE: We now have Split AC's through out the home! We are excited to finally add this amenity to our B&B, as we know a lot of our guests are not accustom to the Maui climate. The way our home is situated, we get wonderful trade winds every day and do not typically use the AC's, but our guests are more than welcome to. There are floor fans in every room and ceiling fans in the queen rooms. We do ask that you please turn off all electronics, fans, and lights when they are not in use. This helps to reduce the our carbon footprint on the island. Soon we will be fully SOLAR and so very excited about this!

While I am new to the Bed and Breakfast industry, I do have experience in the service industry. I want your stay with us and on Maui to be AMAZING. I will aspire to be a great host and have my customer service skills on point. If you have any issues or concerns, please contact me as soon as possible, so I may get them corrected.

We will have breakfast items available for your enjoyment stocked in the kitchen. There will be Milk, Juice, Muffins, Bread, Cereal, Coffee, Tea, and assortment of fresh fruits.
