Located just a short walk from Lake Erie and the historic GOTL Strip, the Dogwood is a fully renovated 1950's cottage with modern amenities and a vintage beach bungalow vibe. Pine ceilings highlighted by mid-century light fixtures welcome you into the living room area with a sleeper sofa and a 42" Smart TV to stream all your favorite apps.

A built-in dining banquet and retro breakfast bar transition you into to our fully equipped kitchen. Modern appliances with a vintage look, butcher block countertops, and a reproduction drain broad sink ties in with the 50's retro feel. All you could need for preparing a perfect meal is located our open style cabinetry.

From the kitchen exit into our 3-season enclosed porch. Enjoy a meal or sip your morning coffee while peering into to our partially fenced back yard with forest views where you could spot some wildlife! In the evenings you could gather round our outdoor fire pit or grill up your favorite meals on our Weber propane grill.

Our 2 bedrooms are both adorned with pine ceilings, mid-century lighting, and retro decor. Both rooms include a queen bed and roomy closets. A recently added sleeping loft can accommodate 4, it has its own hangout spot with a TV, DVD player and an Xbox with a few games. This space is perfect for kids and teens. Please note it has low ceilings and has a ladder access that may not be suitable for young children.

Our 1st of 2 full baths has a tub/shower combo with subway tile, marble accents and beautiful pebble flooring. The 2nd bath has a stand-up shower and also includes the commercial washer and dryer. Both are equipped with towels too!

Take in all GOTL has to offer with just a short walk to the Strip where you'll find quaint shops, boardwalk style food venders, restaurants, and nightlife! Also, within walking distance is Geneva Township Park (non-swimming beach access) there are playgrounds, pavilions, and grills for a perfect picnic overlooking spectacular Lake Erie. A quick 10-minute drive will take you to Breakwater Beach to enjoy a day soaking up some sun, building sandcastles, or splashing in the waves! Or Geneva Marina may be a point of interest for all who love fishing and boating, it's also a quick 10-minute drive! Also, we are about a 15-minute drive from Spire Institute!!

This Amish built cabin is set among a community of cabins along the beautiful Lake Erie shores. The breath taking sunsets can be enjoyed from the front porch. Take a walk down to the breakwall to enjoy the lake and sunsets.

Visit one or more of the wineries in the area. The family friendly Geneva on the Lake is only 5 miles down the road. Historic Ashtabula harbor has restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, ghost tours and more! Ashtabula County has 19 covered bridges including the longest and the shortest. Or stay at the cabin and enjoy a dinner on the grill and a toasty fire.

The day activities are too numerous to list, zip lining, fishing, charter boats, biking, hiking, Jet Skiing etc.

If you happen to run out of these supplies, don't worry. We're just a few miles away from Dollar General and Giant Eagle. Rest easy knowing that we also provide fresh linens and towels to ensure a comfortable stay.

The beautiful Grand River could be viewed from the living room window. The apartment is located near many wineries. Our favorites were Grand River Cellars, Debonne Vineyards, Laurello, and M Cellars."

Specifically for all Sunset Vacation Rentals guest street legal 6 seater golf carts are available for our guest to reserve and rent during their stay.

-Pets are allowed in our units marked pet friendly only. There is an additional one time $50 fee that applies to guests who travel with pets, otherwise the stay with the pet was unauthorized. A pet, or any evidence of a pet found on the property, that was not previously disclosed by charging you the pet fee, is cause for eviction and forfeiture of rent. DOGS ONLY- maximum 2 dogs, unless previously authorized.

- "There were several insects killed on the ceiling and not cleaned up. The silver appliances- the refrigerator and microwave were wiped down at one time. Whatever was used made a smearing look. It just didn’t look clean. I was afraid to use any kitchen appliance with my food so we ate all our meals out. That in turn cost us more money. There were black circular objects in the shower before I showered and even more after 3 or 4 shower. Don’t know where they came from and it was a bit alarming. Then there was no indication of where the towels and washcloths were located nor the extra garbage bags. Then if we run out of something we were told in a note to go buy it. After all this, there was a tip envelope for a cleaner. And we were appalled that we were required to wash the dirty towels. There was no instruction on what setting to use. My machine has a sanitize setting which I use for towels and sheets. Stripping the bed, is normal. We were to sign the guest book but we couldn’t find one to sign. There was no phone number given in case of an emergency. And no candles in case the electricity went out. Also, there was no snack basket or a breakfast basket It wasn’t very warm and inviting."
