- "The resort is beautiful, with garden swings located around the resort facing the bay. The pools are beautiful, clean, and refreshing. There is a large slide in the children's pool, and water spray-ups that are fun for children of all ages. Large trees, with Spanish moss hanging from them, cover the grounds and provide a beautiful backdrop and welcome shade to the walkways and pool area. There are two beaches, one large and one small one. The large one has white sand, beach chairs, beach volleyball, yard swings; there are jet skis, kayaks, and other boats to rent as well. The bay water is somewhat brown, but not horrible. The pool area is beside the large beach and there is a restaurant attached that is a good place to get things like quesadillas, burgers, chips & dip, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the main building; it was expensive but large, luxurious, and delicious. There was a safe in the room which are handy for leaving your valuables in while at the pool or beach. The whole resort has a safe, clean feel and I would recommend it to any family. The small town of Fairhope has shops that are fun to browse around in and a few restaurants that have a small, hometown feel. We enjoyed especially Gene's Beans which is a great place to get ice cream. The only drawback that we encountered was the walls of the rooms seem to be lacking in insulation, so if people are talking, laughing, or playing in the next room it is hard to ignore it and go to sleep."

This is a beautiful, clean and very artsy & eclectic apartment exclusively designed and created for hosting guests. PETS ALLOWED. Not used by owner. This apartment is on the 1st floor of a building that has 4 apartment units. It is downstairs rear, Apt C. It is located downtown in the historic "DETONTI SQUARE" district. Very quiet with beautiful old homes and large oak trees. It is only 5 blocks from lively Dauphin Street with all of the restaurants, bars and other activities. When you pull in driveway entrance pull straight forward to park. There is also street parking.

The cabin does not sit on the water. but our beautiful boathouse provides ample water access. We have a long pier for fishing and swimming, as well as a beautiful boathouse. We have a place to launch kayaks or other small boats as well as the perfect place for swimming. This prime Fish River location gives you access to some of the best fishing Baldwin County has to offer. This unique farmhouse is a throw-back to an earlier time. The house has recently undergone an extensive renovation. New drywall, updated cabinets, new windows and doors and so much more. Your personal home including a living room, huge open eat-in country kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, large bathroom, laundry and enclosed back porch. The front porch is spacious and perfect for relaxing. A rural experience minutes away from downtown Fairhope. Groceries, gasoline, pharmacies, hospitals are even closer.

A modest 3 bedroom brick home built with Papa in mind. The house is completely accessible, including wide doorways, no carpet and bathroom railings. Queen sized beds in two bedrooms. The third bedroom has been made in to a large laundry room but has a hotel style rollaway bed available for use.
The home has one full bathroom with an accessible shower. The kitchen has all major appliances including a dishwasher. There is a nice big yard but it is not fenced in.

We are 8 miles from downtown Fairhope and closer to lots of wonderful restaurants.

Bass-kin is a house located directly on the Fairhope side of Fish river. The cabin has a very inviting interior with wood panels, floor, and blinds. Bass-kin has great natural lighting with 11 windows(with natural wood blinds). You are so high up that you feel like you are in a treehouse. The ladder leading to the upstairs loft style bedroom has a full size bed with a great expansive view of the river. If you prefer not to use the ladder, the couch down on the main floor is a pullout queen size bed.

Enjoy everything about the property: kayaks, fishing poles, grilling picnic area with a Webber charcoal grill, fire pit,etc. The river is great place to spend your time! The Inside of the tiny house living area is a great place to watch a movie or football game. It has a comfortable leather couch and a 42 inch Smart TV which includes Youtube TV, which is the newest(best) streaming service that provides 70 of the best cable channels, and is easy to navigate. When watching movies, the smart tv allows you to log in to your Netflix or Amazon Prime account. We have Wifi internet with lots of power(300 mpbs!!). Big Daddy's grill is just a few blocks down the road. Big Daddy's is one of the areas most popular casual dinning restaurants located on the river.
The occasional rain shower can be a little bit of a bummer at most places, but not at the cabin. Its great to hear the rain on the tin roof.
Southern Summers can be hot. The cabin has two air conditioners and a dehumidifier... When combined it makes a comfortable temperature inside of the cabin.

A large portion of short term rental properties have the owners who live on or adjacent to the property. We do not live on or adjacent to the cabin.

Walking, bicycling, kayaking on the river (bring your own kayak)! A public fishing pier is near, as well as the Beaches of Dauphin Island. Cow pasture on the drive in. Kids love it. Occasionally a deer is seen crossing the road. And even an alligator near the curve. 😉

A king size bed and full bathroom (with a tub) is perfect for two people. Generous seating in the living room offers plenty of places to nap or read. A charming, private back porch is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a cool drink at the end of the day. A small but well stocked efficiency kitchen meets your needs for a short day. There is no stove but a hot plate and toaster oven will cover all your cooking needs. There is a full sized washer and dryer in the attached laundry area. We provide an initial supply of coffee, creamer, sugar, toiletries and laundry detergent for few days. Folding beach chairs and beach towels are available for guest use.

The Carriage House is a short stroll (.5 miles) to the heart of downtown Fairhope full of great shopping and delicious restaurants. Located behind Palmetto Cottage, which is also available to rent, the detached Carriage House has it's own dedicated parking and private entrance and is located on the same property as the Cottage.

Driveway is tight so no trailers or campers are allowed.

We are pet friendly but I want to approve your pet and we charge a modest pet fee. We are located in horse country very near the Point Clear Polo Club. So it is not unusual to see horseback riders along the country roads. Our barn is a working barn and we also offer short term pasture board for horses that provide proof of vaccinations.
Down town Fairhope is about a 5-7 minute drive and The Grand Hotel and Little Point Clear is about a 3-5 drive. Owa is about 25 minutes away and Gulf shores/Orange beach is 45 to 50 minutes away.
Lakewood and Quail Creek Golf Courses are minutes away, and there are countless restaurants near by.

The cabinets, drawers, and closets hold most of your needs for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is stocked with dishes, bowls, cups, glasses, mugs, toaster, countertop ice maker, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans, and a few more cooking essentials. A modest amount of regular coffee, filters, creamer, sugar is provided complimentarily for your first morning... along with a few waters and snacks. Grocery stores are nearby for everything else needed during your stay.

Outside Space: The outdoor space includes deck, picnic table, gas BBQ grill, fire pit, chairs for star gazing or fireside, large field for dogs to roam. It is a cool spot to relax. The deck becomes an outdoor dining area in moments. I try to keep wood nearby for the fire pit. If you need more wood for the fire pit, feel free to gather any fallen limbs and branches you can find. At night, the fresh air and crackling fire brings whispered stories filled with youthful memories.

**I’ve included suggestions in the house manual (red notebook on site) for mini shower. It’s easy to clean up when you think of it like a bird bath. Use on/off toggle switch on the handheld shower nozzle between soaping and rinsing. I’m 6’1” and have always done it this way:).

Guest Access: You are encouraged to enjoy the grounds, explore the woods, wander the country roads.

Please know, I highly regard your privacy. I will not come out to the Airstream at any time during your stay. The only exception, of course, being to address an issue you report. At that time, I will schedule my visit with you.

*Note* My home is also on site and located toward the front of the property. The Airstream and my home share 5+ acres. You will pass it when entering and exiting. Please do not try to enter the house, carport, porch, pump house. Otherwise, roam as desired.

Other things to note: Technically, this Airstream can sleep 3-4 people. I do not recommend (4) four adults due to the true compactness of the camper.

A third bed (*small double size*) folds out by lowering the dinette table and repositioning cushions. Mattress topper, sheets, blanket, pillows for this bed are included with reservations of more than 2 people.

This is country life. The Airstream hideaway sits on more than 5 acres surrounded by woods, farmland, birds, deer, rabbits, foxes, and more. Instead of eliminating nature, we embrace awareness and knowledge for coexisting with insects, wildlife, critters, plants, etc. More details available in the house manual onsite.

For visitors who love walking: the three roads of this neighborhood are dead ends and have hills. Perimeters of agricultural fields can also be walked, if desired.

Inside the apartment some of the things you will first will notice is the workmanship; split brick kitchen walls and counters, marble bathroom counter and tiled shower ceiling with the rainfall shower head. There is a large couch with a chase lounger..great for kicking back and watching a show. We have a Roku TV good for your Netflix account. Direct Tv. Fast internet. Full kitchen with everything you need. Blackout curtains in the bedroom to keep the room dark for a good nights sleep. Queen size bed that is very comfortable(for real). I like a bed that is not too high off the ground where you can just ease into. There is a 8 inch memory foam mattress bed in the rooms oversized closet(almost the size of a small room) than can be used for the extra guest...Kids love it, they feel like they have their own little spot. Nice bathroom with a spacious shower that has a bench. More than adequate water pressure. The Loft has lots of insulation and a great air conditioner to cool down the place. (New A/C installed October 2022. New water heater installed June 2022). The bedroom has a large closet with a full length mirror(we get lots of people attending weddings and this comes in handy). Flat screen TV mounted on the wall in the bedroom. We keep the place sparkling clean for our guests. You are separated from the main house. The loft has its own private staircase. The patio is set up in a way that you that is partially enclosed for the privacy. You will be the only ones staying in this building..there is no one staying below. I love beach season. From the bedroom window, there is a good chance to see deer around dusk...the deer like to take a route from the field across the street, through our property, and out through a gap in the fence on the back part of the property.

I reserve the right to prohibit any pet. The condo complex HOA By-Laws limit pets in the studios to one small dog (>20lbs). I further restrict the one small dog to non-shedding breeds (for cleaning and allergen purposes) and the pet must be crated when left alone. I prohibit any pet for business or student travelers—too much alone time for the doggie in a confined and strange location. Furthermore, guests who meet the above pet requirements must be willing to sign a separate Pet Agreement before the booking is finalized.

It is a reasonable Airbnb for those who are traveling for work and/or need a short stay. We do ask that our guests please provide their own laundry detergent and dryer sheets when using the washer/dryer. The kitchen, laundry, dining, living & bathroom are all shared spaces for each guests residing in separate rooms at this AirBnb. Due to this, we ask and encourage that our guests always make sure to tidy up after themselves as to leave the common areas clean for the next guest that enters. This includes washing your own dishes, wiping down the areas used and putting items of use back where the originated from. Although we preemptively and routinely prepare for pests, this helps to keep the home clean and rid of any unwanted creatures to create a more comfortable stay for everyone involved. Depending on the length of your stay, the sheets will be changed routinely, the floor swept and mopped if needed (although we ask that guests are respectful as to clean any spills that may occur and if unable to render the situation, please call us and let us know so that we may have the opportunity to), and the garbage taken out. If you prefer your room to be left unkept, please let us know.

We do ask that our guests please provide their own laundry detergent and dryer sheets when using the washer/dryer. The kitchen, laundry, dining, living & bathroom are all shared spaces for each guests residing in separate rooms at this AirBnb. Due to this, we ask and encourage that our guests always make sure to tidy up after themselves as to leave the common areas clean for the next guest that enters. This includes washing your own dishes, wiping down the areas used and putting items of use back where the originated from. Although we preemptively and routinely prepare for pests, this helps to keep the home clean and rid of any unwanted creatures to create a more comfortable stay for everyone involved. Depending on the length of your stay, the sheets will be changed routinely, the floor swept and mopped if needed (although we ask that guests are respectful as to clean any spills that may occur and if unable to render the situation, please call us and let us know so that we may have the opportunity to), and the garbage taken out. The house is in close to shopping center and downtown. My room and house are cozy and nice. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers. It is single family house conveniently located close to I-65 and Old Shell. Nice kitchen with stove, oven, high-speed internet. Fully furnished with beds, mattresses, chairs, sofas, lights. It is private bedroom with a shared bathroom and back yard deck.

The space
This is a SHARED AIRBNB meaning that you have a solo key to your own private bedroom with a TV although the kitchen, dining, living, laundry and bathroom areas are all COMMON AREAS which are maintained by the guests. We expect that each guest leave the common areas clean and prepared as they found it for the next guest who enters out of a mutual respect for one another. There is 1 master bedroom which has its' own private bath, the other rooms share the 1 full bath located in the hall. Parking is in the front yard or in the turn-about although please be careful not to block others' driveways and mailboxes.

During your stay
We are always near and able to meet at the Airbnb for any emergencies or necessities if called upon. We circulate between several homes and are often times in one or another, cleaning when guests leave and preparing for others' arrival. Mark's Marvelous Masterpiece is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, at the point of a peninsula. Peace & quiet.

Be aware multiple stairs must be used as the house is on stilts. Be aware the house is on stilts so movements inside are sometimes amplified throughout just like a loft. Please tread lightly.

Indoor & outdoor kitchen. At times you'll feel as if you are home alone, but host is available via text/cell. Lots of open parking on the property.

Water, coffee, granola snacks, and breakfast sandwiches are provided. No cable or satellite, internet based TV applications will all work on my TV's.

I don’t mind hanging out. In general I like my guests. If you are not looking to socialize, that’s fine too! I’m here to help with anything you may need. Most of my bookings are repeat & long term at this point. Many nurses/traveling executives stay here. There is a full kitchen on main level equipped w anything you need as well as a large waterside patio with grill!

Other things to note
Free use of canoe and or kayak from the onsite dock. No cable or satellite, but AT&T fiber is run to house & fast WIFI is included. Be aware the driveway entrance is a bit steep, so I recommend going slow and approaching at an angle.
