We should have used VRBO for the navigation instead of Google Maps, which should an outdated picture of an old green house. We enjoyed the hot tube. 3 Bedrooms gave us plenty of space to spread out and relax. The location was perfect for us as we traveled around the Brigus and Bay Roberts area. The washroom (toilet, sink, and shower) is on the ground floor by the back porch. There are two rooms upstairs: a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom/den with a queen size futon that sleeps two.

The large back deck overlooks Clarke's Mountain and is accented with a gazebo. In the deck box you will find folding chairs. There is also a fire pit on the side garden.

If you go left on railbed at the back of the property, it will take you to Clarke's Beach Information Centre (museum) in the old station. A little farther down there is a children's playground and paddling beach at the community park.

This is perfect for a place to relax, or a use as a base camp for day trips from which to explore a beautiful and historic part of our province.

Harbour Pond Getaway is located in the center of Brigus. The home has a beautiful property full of plant life and mature trees, ground level to a salt water pond (Harbour Pond). large paved driveway and a lot of lighting for a nightly stroll. As you enter the home using the Smart Lock you walk into spacious porch / laundry room. The kitchen is large with all stainless steel appliances. The living room has a large tv for you to watch when you return from your long intriguing walks . The home has Free Wi-Fi . Full Washroom on the main floor as well. as you go up a few steps to the second floor you will find a master bedroom with a queen bed and a full ensuite . Across the hall is a bedroom with a double bed . next door is a office space with a desk and some office supplies. We have a locked closet to keep our fresh linens in and some cleaning supplies. We hope you enjoy the homeowners special touch with her own art pieces and paintings and some beautiful items from around the world. Please be very gentle and respectful of her items she has left them for our guests to enjoy.

North Valley Ranch is a former executive hobby ranch located in the ideally located town of North River, Newfoundland, only 50 minutes from St. John's International Airport, and only 45 minutes to the Canada Games venues. The ranch sits on 20 acres on the North River just 2km from the ocean at Clark's Beach, Newfoundland. North River is a great home base for exploring the northwest Avalon Peninsula, and beyond, with famous sites, like Cupids, Brigus, Harbour Grace, Port de Grave, Bonavista, Trinity, Dildo, and many more. Bay Roberts is only 5 minutes away for all shopping and supply needs, and unique and local restaurants are abundant.

The Main house is 3000 square feet, sits on 20 acres, leading down to the shores of North River, where you can enjoy fishing for 6 different species of Trout and Salmon. In the nearby bay you can experience Cod, Mackerel, Herring, and Caplin fishing. The ranch is still home to sheep, chickens, and horses, but raised and cared for by our friendly ranch hand, and local information guide.
The manicured gardens, and grounds, are an entertainer's delight, and caters to all types of visitors and vacationers. There are 3 main bedrooms, and a private den, with queen pull out sofa, providing sleeping for 8.
The chef's kitchen has gas and electric cooking surfaces, 2 ovens, and indoor charcoal bbq.

The Annual Boat Lighting of Port de Grave is talked about near and far. People come from all over to see the beauty of the boats dressed up. For the month of December, the lights shine from dusk until midnight daily, a definite must-see.

There is ample parking, you are welcome to use the gated driveway attached to the house or the extended shoulder located between the front lawn fence and road shoulder.

We take being good hosts seriously, once the booking is confirmed we will share a guidebook link helping you get to know the house and neighbourhood.

Linens provided: sheets, pillows, duvets with covers, towels for bathing, and extra blankets.

Other little extras to note, that are also included: toilet paper, paper towel, cleaning supplies, coffee (pods, instant, and ground coffee), sugar, whitener, and a variety of spices (salt, pepper, pizza seasoning, seasoning salt, thyme, oregano, Italian seasoning, fennel seed, rosemary, dill weed, bay leaves, coriander, basil, marjoram, crushed mint, sea salt, savoury, cilantro, celery salt, and parsley).

Friday is garbage and recycling pick-up. We have provided large clear bags for recycling and black bags for garbage, to separate accordingly. Collect and dispose of all, in the garbage box at the end of the yard, roadside.

The house is heated by baseboard heaters and an electric fireplace. For warm summer days, the house is kept cool by a window air conditioner, fans (both floor and ceiling), and of course the beautiful ocean breeze.

The house is on septic. While using the house be responsible and do not discard any grease or food reminisce into the septic. Allow the grease to harden and dispose of with other household garbage.

Both suites/units have their own supply of hot water.

While smoking is not permitted inside the house, you will find ashtrays on the front and back patio. Be sure to use them accordingly and refrain from flicking butts around the property.

When it snows, it snows. The main parking area is maintained and plowed. There are shovels and salt onsite to help with additional clearing.

We are pet friendly, please disclose your animal companion when booking (2 dog max.). As you know they are your responsibility. Pick up after your friends. The furniture is not meant for the animals, you will need to take the necessary steps to manage your pets. We suggest bringing pet beds and crates to manage their stay accordingly.

Your entire family is welcome, we have noted that the property is suitable for younger children. We have done so keeping in mind that as parents you are responsible for your children. The back of the house is a rock hill. It would not be in anyone's best interest if the children were to explore the hill solely. We have also noted the furniture present in the house, keep in mind we are not equipped with a crib or play pin, should you require one, you will need to include one with your travel luggage.

Respect our neighbours! Regulate unusual noises or noise likely to disturb, residents and guests alike of Port de Grave. No yelling, shouting or the like between 11 pm to 7 am. Keep in mind with no city noise to compete with, the sound will carry greater. Everyone wants to enjoy their getaway!

At this potential 'Artist Retreat' you will wake up to the sound of Seagulls in the morning and go to bed with the moon glistening on the water. Catch a glimpse of whales in the bay or roast marshmallows on Blow-me-Down Beach. In June/July you might be lucky enough to see the Caplin roll. Take a hike and/or picnic to Green Point Lighthouse. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The SeaEscape is located in Beautiful Coley’s Point, less than an hour drive from St. John’s and overlooking Bay Roberts, NL.

Over the last 10 years, there has been extensive renovations and a two level
condo added to the structure. Originally this historic property was known as the Greenland Fishing Rooms. This property offers a wealth of heritage charm and was an economic hub of the community. Boats were build and fish harvested.

The space
SeaEscape Wharf is suitable for a relaxing, and or an adventurous getaway. It consists of two levels with the master suite on the top floor offering a Double Bed and half bathroom. The Master suite has been designed to make you feel as if you are in a ship. Great nautical theme.

Take the cast iron stairs to the main floor which offers a full kitchen with large size Fridge , Stove, Dishwasher and full bathroom with shower.

The outside space consists of a back patio area nestled over the ocean. It is a great place to sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air. There is a fire pit and BBQ on patio.

Take a few steps outside and you will be on the Harbour Boardwalk. It wraps around the harbour and is great for a morning walk or evening stroll.

To the other side of the Unit is a private beach area. A great place to collect sea glass, sea shells and enjoy the ocean.

You will have access to the 2 level condo and 2 outside spaces. One is the back patio situated over the water. The back patio is a place you can sit back and relax, BBQ and have a fire in the pot belly fire pit. Also great place to watch sunrise or sunsets.

The beach area to the side is also accessible but caution as slight maneuvering/climbing is required to access. It is located to the side of the wharf. Use with caution and at own risk. Not recommended for swimming.

No access to the stagehead area or wharf.

Please be aware that this is an Ocean area. You may encounter seals, whales and other forms of marine species.

If children are joining you on this stay, it is highly recommended that the child wear a life vest when by beach area and on wharf. 1 life vest provided to fit a

Whether you are visiting from nearby or coming from away, Anchor House will feel like, your home away from home. Our 5-bedroom bungalow has an uninterrupted view of the ocean; with 2-bedrooms on the main floor and 3-bedrooms downstairs, there is plenty of room for a larger group. The house comes with the beds freshly dressed with clean linens, and crisp white towels for bathing. The front and side patio have an uninterrupted view of the ocean and the fish plant, where you can watch the vessels come and go.

The Annual Boat Lighting of Port de Grave is talked about near and far. People come from all over to see the beauty of the boats dressed up. For the month of December, the lights shine from dusk until midnight daily, a definite must-see.

There is ample parking, you are welcome to use the gated driveway attached to the house, there is also a second driveway down the side or even the extended shoulder located between the front lawn fence and the road shoulder.

Linens provided: sheets, pillows, duvets with covers, towels for bathing, and extra blankets.

Other little extras to note, that are also included: toilet paper, paper towel, cleaning supplies, coffee (pods, instant, and ground coffee), sugar, whitener, and a variety of spices (salt, pepper, pizza seasoning, seasoning salt, thyme, oregano, Italian seasoning, fennel seed, rosemary, dill weed, bay leaves, coriander, basil, marjoram, crushed mint, sea salt, savoury, cilantro, celery salt, and parsley).

Friday is garbage and recycling pick-up. We have provided large clear bags for recycling and black bags for garbage, to separate accordingly. Collect and dispose of all, in the garbage box at the end of the yard, roadside.

The house is heated by baseboard heaters and an electric fireplace. For warm summer days, the house is kept cool by a window air conditioner in each bedroom, ceiling fans in each bedroom, and of course the beautiful ocean breeze.

The house is on septic. While using the house be responsible and do not discard any grease or food reminisce into the septic. Allow the grease to harden and dispose of with other household garbage.

Both suites/units have their own supply of hot water.

While smoking is not permitted inside the house, you will find ashtrays on the side patio. Be sure to use them accordingly and refrain from flicking butts around the property.

When it snows, it snows. The main parking area is maintained and plowed. There are shovels and salt onsite to help with additional clearing.

We are pet friendly, please disclose your animal companion when booking (2 dog max.). As you know they are your responsibility. Pick up after your friends. The furniture is not meant for the animals, you will need to take the necessary steps to manage your pets. We suggest bringing pet beds and crates to manage their stay accordingly.

Your entire family is welcome, we have noted that the property is suitable for younger children. We have done so keeping in mind that as parents you are responsible for your children. The back of the house is a rock hill. It would not be in anyone's best interest if the children were to explore the hill solely. We have also noted the furniture present in the house, keep in mind we are not equipped with a crib or play pin, should you require one, you will need to include one with your travel luggage.

Respect our neighbours! Regulate unusual noises or noise likely to disturb, residents and guests alike of Port de Grave. No yelling, shouting or the like between 11 pm to 7 am. Keep in mind with no city noise to compete with, the sound will carry greater. Everyone wants to enjoy their getaway!
