- "Everything good" - "This place is currently under renovation and it was empty with no staff and no guess" - "This self-acclaimed hotel closed a year ago in a totally run-down state. Some four months ago it was bought by a new (US citizen) owner who is trying to rebuild the place. Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. When we arrived on December 14 around noon, the gate was closed, while there is no name sign nor anything else that indicates the existence of a hotel. It looks like private property from the outside. I tried to cancel the reservation, but that was not possible on the day of arrival. We went to look for an alternative place. The next day, after an unsatisfactory phone call with the owner who maintains the stand that the 'hotel' is functioning normally I decided to investigate the place a little further. US$ 65 was booked off my credit card because of a No-Show. I talked to the housekeeper who allowed me in and showed me around. I have made nice photoshoot of the place so everybody can judge for himself. Please note the first picture that shows the entrance. If you zoom in on the wall left of the blue gate you can still more or less decipher the painted over sign "hotel Selvazul". The last picture shows you a table full of mice excrements if you zoom in a little. "

The space
We are located in Barrio larreynaga, Managua. On the property you will find other rooms with other guests, however, all are private, this room has a double bed and the bathroom is shared, in addition, you will share a small room in which a kitchenette has been set up and the patio that is where you will have access to the room, it is independent of the main house.

This room is small, but you will be comfortable and accessible to your pocket.

In addition, we have implemented a hammock on the patio for a hammock to cool off and a table with folding benches for you to take your food outdoors.

We are a family undertaking in the business of accommodation, and therefore, we ask you to understand, here you will not have luxuries, but yes, comfort and the basics to relax as you prepare for your adventure or business trip.

It is important that you know that because we as a family place our home in order and for security for all WE DO not ALLOW VISITORS OR the ACCESS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT GUESTS

For early morning arrivals we have the free Security Box for keys service, where you can get the keys to the property and access your room for yourself, no delays. In case you prefer someone to wait for you, we charge an additional $10 for receiving you from 12am to 6am

We offer transfer service by motorbike and vehicle to and from airport or bus terminals in the day and night

Baggage can be left FREE for up to 3 days, after this period $2 dollars per day will be charged from the 4th day.

Although we are not in a commercial or tourist area of Managua, we have various types of food businesses nearby so you can easily access these. Popular eateries, restaurants within minutes, delivery services that arrive on the property, 24-hour consumer shops, ice cream parlors, supermarkets 5 or 10 minutes away by taxi, depending on the distance, as well as, basic stores in the neighborhood, whatever you want at your fingertips.

Keep in mind that in Managua the tourist areas are not in one place, so you will have to move from one place to another, and our house is in a strategic place for you to access these places.

If you decide to stay at our Airbnb in Barrio Larreynaga, in Managua, you will be near the bus terminals and municipal markets. Just 20 min (9 kms) by car from the International Airport, 10 min by car from the Metrocentro Shopping Center and Managua Cathedral. This Airbnb is just 5.2 kms (15 min drive) from Centro Turistico Mas Visado de Managua, Puerto Salvador Allende.
