We booked a swim suite and it was the best decision we've ever made, as we made the best of our swim up since we arrived. We felt safe in the neighborhood. The downside of the location is the noise. The property is next to a bus station whose PA system can be heard inside the apartment. The building is also close to entertainment/bars that are loud late into the night. Finally, Kevin let me know that there is a limit to the electricity included in the room rate and that meant that we had to be judicious when we ran the water heater, the AC, and the washer/dryer. Overall, we liked it although we will look for a less noisy Playa option in the future."
