When I say I was in a desert oasis, I mean it. They have options from camping to glamping and everyone has access to the awesome and much needed pool area, make up artists, masseuse, and a little something extra wink wink. They kept us hydrated with unlimited complimentary electrolyte water and liquid IV. With the simple dial of a phone call, a Cadillac Escalade arrives to pick you up and drop you off at the festival. Entering the Rancho 51 compound felt like entering through the gates of Jurassic Park, once you’re in it’s a new world, and it’s safe with security 24/7. I never had to worry about leaving my car unlocked or leaving belongings in my tent. I will admit my car battery died while I was there and the owner himself gave me a jump! Every day I woke up at my leisure and rolled myself over to the pool to relax, hydrate, swim, and groove to the live DJ. Then it was off to the clean showers and bathrooms and full-length mirrors to get the fit just right. Elevate your look with the glam team who is ready to receive you all morning and afternoon! Hungry? There is always a truck to feed you (for very reasonable purchase). The taco truck was a lifesaver after a full day at the festival and the raspado truck gave me life on those hot desert afternoons. An early welcome to the desert,
Our home is very spacious and inviting, the gem has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The gem is located near many attractions. A 2 minute drive to the polo grounds, 5 minute drive to PGA west golf, 10 minute drive to old town la quinta, 15-20 min drive to the tennis garden, 40 minute drive to palm springs! If you are coming to enjoy some sun you most defenitly are in the right place, and will head home with some brightness in your life and a nice tan!!!

The house was great for our family of five, including 3 kids ages 6-15, to reconnect with my parents who came out from Chicago for our first in-person reunion since the pandemic. The bedrooms and bathrooms were just the right number for all seven of us, including a single bedroom for our 15 year old and privacy for my parents in the casita. Our only suggestions are minor. Pool/Spa Heating

During the winter months, the pool runs approx. 60 degrees. Pool heating is available to 85 degrees for an additional $75/night. If you would like the pool heated, please let us know in advance as it takes longer in the winter to heat.
The spa can be heated at no cost for your enjoyment. Pool towels are provided.

The pool and the spa heat can be heated at the same time to the set pool temperature. When the spa is turned on and the heat is set higher than the pool temperature the spillover maintains the pool temperature.

POOL|SPA:
Pool: $100/daily fee (to include spa) to 82 degrees. (More heat is an additional fee).
Spa only: $35/daily to 102 degrees. (On demand only and must be turned off after use). PLEASE NOTE, SPA is NOT heated for arrival, pool is. When one needs to use the spa, please use the controller provided at the property to turn it on, when needed. Please turn it off after the use. Depending on the time of the year and day, it can take anywhere from 10 mins to 45 on average.
Gas prices are at an all time high entering the new year, and we do not profit on these fees. If you need the pool heated upon your arrival, let us know at least 24hrs in advance. We can have it ready for your arrival at that time. Pool heating time varies depending on outside temperature. It is important to submit the payment at least 2 days in advance. During winter, it can take at minimum 24 hours prior to get the pool heated. Pool fee can not be refunded unless heating issue is due to a problem with equipment.
Pool and spa can not be heated at the same time, this applies to nearly every pool in the desert. The heater always stays in pool heating mode, unless the spa is used. It is important to turn the spa after one is done using it and notify us to have the heater on pool heating mode. Pool stays warm while spa is used, unless spa is run continuously for extended period of time (many hours straight or overnight), so it is important to shut off the spa after the use.
Payment can be made via Airbnb. **Pool heating is usually not needed starting June 1-mid September, depending on the year, please reach out closer to those dates to confirm. Spa heating fee is still in effect all year round.
PETS:
We are pet friendly! Please let us know in advance, if you need any special accommodations. $200 pet deposit is required and if no additional pet cleaning left behind, $150 is refunded at time of check out and $50 goes towards pet's stay and $25 for each following pet.
EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS:
If you need special accommodations with early check-in/late check-out, we will gladly help UPON AVAILABILITY. Early check-in fee is $75, payment has to be provided upon request, otherwise, the request will not be valid. Late check-out requests are not easily attainable as our staff needs to properly sanitize and clean before the next guests arrive. In the event we do not have a reservation following yours or can bring in extra staff to expedite cleaning substantially, we will gladly accommodate for a $75 fee and move our cleaning crew to a later schedule or help you extend for the day or night at a special rate. All late check out requests need to be submitted before 8:30pm the evening prior to check out

No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. A $200.00 extra cleaning fee will be charged for any detected smoke. You may smoke outside.

Temperature Control: Please maintain both upper and lower AC units no lower than 74°F. For the garage mini-split, keep it no lower than 24°C (equivalent to 74°F).

Sliding Door: Monitor and ensure the sliding door is kept closed. The HVAC control system will turn off if the door is left open for more than 5 minutes.

Pillows Usage: When using extra pillows located in each bedroom closet, kindly place a pillowcase on each pillow. Upstairs pillowcases are in the cabinet, and for the downstairs bedroom, they are in the closet.

We've got some cool options to add an extra touch to your stay:

* The pool can be heated for $75.00 a day at a set temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Any degree above 80°F will be $25.00 per degree per day.

Anyone under 18 needs his/her parent’s present while swimming or near the pool for safety reasons. No diving and no glass near the pool. The heating fee is $60 per day.
Please don’t put any liquid/solid soap into it, any extra cost occurring will be charged. The guests will take all liability and responsibility for your own safety.

POOL|SPA:
Pool: $125/daily fee (to include spa) to 82 degrees. (More heat is an additional fee)
Spa only: $40/daily fee to 102 degrees. SPA HEATED ON DEMAND ONLY. USUALLY 15-30 MINUTES TO HEAT, DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF THE YEAR, CAN BE UP TO 50 MINUTES IN COLDER WEATHER. SPA IS NOT HEATED FOR ARRIVAL.
Gas prices are at an all time high entering the new year, and we do not profit on these fees. If you need the pool/spa heated upon your arrival, let me know at least 24hrs in advance. We can have it ready for your arrival at that time. Pool heating time varies depending on outside temperature. Pool fee can not be refunded unless heating issue is due to a problem with equipment.

**Pool heating is not needed in summer months. Pool heating is available all year and usually recommended mid September to mid June.
Please note, the pool is serviced biweekly every Tuesday/Friday at 9 am to ensure the pool is properly sanitized and ready for guest use.**

Parking available in the driveway, only. garage parking is unavailable.

PETS:
We are pet friendly! Please let us know in advance, if you need any special accommodations. $200 pet deposit is required and if no additional pet cleaning left behind, $150 is refunded at time of check out and $50 goes towards pet's stay and $25 for each following pet thereafter at least 24 hours in advance prior to check in date.

EARLY CHECK IN/LATE CHECK OUT- We do our best to accommodate early check in and late check out requests. It is a $75 fee, as this is our the cost to get extra cleaning staff to expedite the home properly or complete linen service offsite. *All requests must be submitted prior to 8:30pm, the evening before departure.*

We have wonderful neighbors that welcome you to our neighborhood, please ensure to respect them and the area around you.

If that is an issue or you will give a bad review for messy areas you do not have access to, this is not the place for you. We have a Dobberman pincher. We keep Air Conditioner set at 74. Rooms have fans (ceiling fan and regular fan)if you need it cooler. We have one camera inside facing my bedroom door. It can not see any area you will be in.
