Welcome to Chalet 170, located on the popular Kings Chalet Park in Cromer, with attractive shared lawned area to the front and convenient communal parking nearby.

The chalet opens onto a comfortable open-plan living space: lounge with sofa, dining table, TV, Freesat and DVD player, fully equipped kitchen area with built under oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster and kettle. There are 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with 2 single beds (suited to either children or adults), and bathroom with shower over bath. Bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels. The property is all on one level, although there is one step up to the door. The property is non-smoking, well-behaved pets can stay free of charge, and there is a £1 slot meter for electricity.

The picturesque Norfolk Coast path is a short walk from chalet park⁽¹⁾, and leads on to the traditional seaside resort of Cromer, gem of the North Norfolk coast, where Cromer Pier, promenade, beaches and town can all be found, with a wealth of shops, restaurants, cafes, amusements, cinema, theatre and cliff top gardens, pitch and putt, crazy golf, a skate park and other local attractions – including Amazona Zoo and even a surf school – don’t forget to try the famous Cromer crab while you are visiting! Alternatively you can follow the path in the opposite direction through Happy Valley and on up to Cromer lighthouse, the perfect location to admire the scenery. Be sure to bring your clubs if you’re a golfer, the golf course is close by. There is something for everyone to discover and enjoy.

Just a short drive inland you will find the peace and tranquility of numerous National Trust properties, beautiful country parks, golf courses and nature reserves for relaxing days out, walking, golfing and bird-watching. There are also other seaside resorts and villages to be discovered by exploring further along the North Norfolk coastline – Sheringham, Weybourne and Salthouse just a few miles to the west, leading to Wells-Next-The Sea, Hunstanton and Kings Lynn, with Overstrand, Mundesley and Walcott to the East, taking you all the way to Great Yarmouth and beyond.

One such item is toilet paper because every chalet we have stayed in previously has had a roll already in the bathroom, which we replace when we leave. In view of this we were rather disappointed when we found the toilet roll holder empty. This may well be normal for this particular chalet, but it would have been handy to know this before we arrived. Having said this, it didn't detract from our stay in any way which we thoroughly enjoyed."

Welcome to Chalet 19 on Kings Holiday Park in Cromer with convenient communal parking and shared lawn area. We purchased the Chalet in 2018 and have completely refurbished it.

The Chalet opens onto a comfy living space with TV and Freesat. The kitchen is well equipped with hob and oven, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle and ample cupboard space. There is a newly refurbished bathroom with toilet, hand basin and electric shower. There are two bedrooms - the first with a double bed and ample wardrobe space and bedside cabinet with lamp. The second is two single beds with wardrobe and bedside cabinet. Bedlinen is provided but we ask that you bring your own towels.

The property is all on one level with a small step into the door. It is non smoking and we allow pets for which there is a small charge. There is a £1 slot meter for electricity.

Alternatively the path the other way takes you to Cromer Golf Club and then onto Overstrand which is a great walk before a spot of breakfast.

The space
The Chalet Park provides ideal access to surrounding woodland, play park and with being set in approximately 12 acres, very quiet and tranquil environment.

The modern accommodation offers an open comfortable space. The kitchenette and lounge area provides a relaxing area, all fully equipped for you to enjoy your stay. The two bedrooms provide one double bed and two singles. The modern bathroom is equipped with full shower, basin, heater and low level toilet.

With check-in being 15:00 hrs, this is to enable us to ensure all is cleaned and ready for your stay. Once this is complete, we always message the guest to let them know that all is ready and hopefully that they can start their stay early.

Please note there are no facilities on the Chalet park for electric vehicle charging.
Also extension leads from any of the chalet buildings are not permitted to be used for EV charging. As a directive from the Chalet site owners, if this occurs, you would be charged a fee and asked to vacate the Chalet park. This is based on the Chalet park insurance and that the current electric supply can not cope with the demand. This is a site wide rule.

The Electric Meter is landlord owned by the Kings Chalet Park who set the tariff. The meter is operated by £1 coins and for your stay, we apply the coins to credit the meter to the full mark. However, just in case please bring a few if staying for a week in the unlikely event but please bring a few £1 coins just in case.

We adhere to Airbnb's 'enhanced clean' protocol, so please be assured that we are following a thorough cleaning checklist between each set of guests and all high touch surfaces will be disinfected, all linens washed at high temperatures, and we will also provide cleaning supplies for your own use during your stay.

The Chalet is not far away from our family home so not far for any advice or assistance during your stay if required.

The Chalet has been given a stunning makeover which utilises the space on offer perfectly, with a large window allowing lots of light to flow into the open plan lounge/dining area and, well-equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms, a double and twin, bathroom with bath and shower.

For all length of stay the property will be professionally cleaned by our housekeepers and guests will receive: a full set of clean and pressed linens, tea towel, bath towels, hand towels, tea, instant coffee and milk.

The lounge/dining area

Has a 3 seater sofa a cabinet which houses the TV with Freeview and DVD player, the shelves are stocked with a selection books and below in the cupboard you will find family games and DVD's, while a dining table has 2x chairs and a bench to enjoy a family meal.

The kitchen benefits from fitted units and includes a slimline dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, electric oven and a four ring induction hob, extractor fan, stainless steel sink with draining board, microwave, kettle and toaster.
The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, kids eating utensils kids cutlery and dog bowl.

Bedroom 1

Bedroom 1 has a double bed with 2x floating bedside tables and bedside lamps. There is also a built-in cupboard/wardrobe.

There is plenty of green space to utilise and enjoy, the chalet park has a gate with direct access to a playing field and wooded area, through the playing field is a path which leads directly to the seafront and beach.

Clean and comfortable self-catering accommodation on the North Norfolk coast. Kings Chalet Park in Cromer is on the edge of town in a peaceful location situated in approximately 10 acres of woodland.

The space
The Warren Chalet is in a fantastic position away from the road with garden views and is near Cromer's East Cliffs nestled between Happy Valley and Warren Woods.

From the car park there is step free access to the chalet then just one step at the front door of the chalet. Inside the chalet everything is on one level.

A 15 minute drive away is a heritage steam railway - the North Norfolk Railway also known as the Poppy line. All within a 30 minute drive is boat trips, seal trips, Roarr! Dinosaur adventure, BeWILDerwood, the famous Norfolk Broads and more. Cromer has excellent public transport links if you want to explore further afield without a car.

The space
Double room, twin room and a double sofa bed. There is a well equipped kitchen complete with four ring halogen hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and enough cutlery and crockery for your party. Oil filled radiators are provided for the chillier months. A TV with freeview and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment. New for 2025 we have 4G based wifi and smart tv ready for you to sign into your streaming services. There is reasonably good 4g/5g coverage on all mobile networks.

To keep costs to a minimum we ask you bring your own linen. Duvets and 2 pillows per guest are provided but you need sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, bath/shower mat, towels and tea towels.

Note: Electricity is by pre pay meter which is topped up either online 24 hours per day or by telephone during office hours.

Free parking on site. The park is also accessible by rail with both Roughton Road Station and Cromer Station within 1 mile of the park.

The chalet is just 200m from the North Norfolk Coastal path. There is access from the rear of the chalet park straight onto the cliff top and from there you can take some steep steps down to the beach or take a gentle slope all the way down to Cromer town centre approximately half a mile to the pier.

A new electricity top up meter has been installed in the property for 2025 (replacing the coin operated one previously in place). To use the top up meter guests will need to visit the top up meter website. Once on the website, you will need the serial number and ID code which can be found on the meter, in the cupboard in the double bedroom. Details of the website, serial number and ID code will be sent with the check in details.

The space
Maggie's Place is a lovely contemporary Chalet all on one level but does have steps up to the chalet.

The 2 Bedroom Chalet has comfortable living area with an elevated view through the large window. There is a Freeview T.V. with DVD player and games and magazines for your entertainment. There is no WIFI in the Chalet. A foldaway table with chairs, extra cushions for outside use, oil filled radiators are also provided.

Bedroom 1 has a King Size Bed with cupboard space, side table and sensor touch
Bedroom 2 has 2 Single Beds with cupboard space - a small ladder used to access the top bed. There is also a night reading light for your use.
Both bedrooms are made-up on arrival.

The kitchen area has a Microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, all cutlery and kitchen basics provided.

The Bathroom has a good sized shower and heated towel rail with a low level W.C. and sink basin

Bed linen/Towels and professional cleaning are provided in this property meaning you don’t have to bring these things with you. Although there are plenty of cleaning materials under the sink for your use. Tea/Coffee and milk will also be provided.

Please note The Electric Meter is owned by Kings Chalet Park who set the tariff.
The Electric Meter is in the cupboard of the 2nd bedroom and is operated by a Pre Pay Smart Meter.

Chalet 141 is a family-owned, semi-detached chalet and one of the larger properties on this tranquil chalet park. It offers 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchenette, open plan lounge/diner & bathroom with shower over.

Living Area
The sitting room has two armchairs, a comfortable modern leather sofa, side table, standard lamp and a fold-down dining table with 4 chairs. There is a TV/DVD screen at the chalet with a USB port. We are able to receive a strong mobile data signal at the chalet through Tesco Mobile. However, we are unable to receive a terrestrial signal due to the woodland and tall trees surrounding the chalet. Please bring saved series and movies with you on a USB, access online TV services or watch/read/play some of the DVD's, books & games provided.

Kitchenette
The kitchen is well-equipped for your self-catering holiday, with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster.

2 Bedrooms and Bathroom
1 double and 1 twin bedroom with 2 full-sized single beds, fitted wardrobes & drawer storage.

Modern bathroom with bath, electric shower, extractor, heated towel rail, mirrored cabinet, sink & WC.

Outside
Well-kept communal gardens and grounds with paved pathways and plenty of car parking close by the chalet. Access to woodland, recreational park, playing field, lighthouse, golf course, beach & clifftop walks.
There is a range of outdoor seating & a fold-away table for outside sitting/dining. There are also beach toys/games/mats/umbrella for your use.
Clothing can be aired at the rear of the chalet on the airer provided.
Wheelie bin at the rear of the chalet emptied weekly.

Bed linen and towels are not included: Please remember to bring your own duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mat, tea towels & dish cloths.

Notes:
There is a mobile top-up meter for electricity. (Average usage between £4 - £5 per night in Spring/Autumn months when using the heaters).

There are oil filled radiators at the chalet for those cooler Spring/Autumn evenings.

On leaving please ensure the chalet is clean and tidy for the next visitor, please replace anything that is accidentally broken with a similar item. A damage deposit of £100 is required which will be fully refunded once the chalet is checked at the end of your stay.

Cleaning - Covid-19 Protocol
The chalet is professionally cleaned after each check-out by an excellent local cleaning company committed to the Airbnb Covid-19 cleaning protocols.

Guest access
This is a self-catering holiday let, the chalet is all yours during your stay! The accommodation is all on one level, with a small threshold to cross to gain access.

There is ample parking on-site with pathways leading to the chalet. The park is maintained to a high standard with well-manicured lawns and lots of space for children to play safely, including a separate play area for ball games.
