Lovely site with friendly people and great views over the marina where we watched the power boat racing which was an added treat to the week! Good location for Gr Yarmouth, East Anglia transport museum, Norwich and surrounding area's .Our dog especially liked sunbathing on the decked area ,which was ideal for us to sit out on with comfortable chairs and watch the world go by on an evening with a cuppa! Guest Information folder has many places to visit nearby and we also used the hospital when one of my children injured themselves. The only thing I missed was a washing machine or on site laundry facilities with mountains of washing to do we used outdoor washer/dryer facilities at the petrol station in Kessingland, which was expensive and often busy resulting in driving back and forth. We were lucky with the weather, only one wet day, we loved exploring Southwold, Lowestoft, Gorleston Splash Park, Africa Alive, Pleasurewood Hills Themepark, Beccles and Beccles Lido. We had nice food and service at Happy Wok, The Waterfront, The Wherry and Kessingland fish and chip shop. 2 weeks zoomed by, and we liked all the lighthouse decor in Lighthouse Chalet."
