This area is known for being safe, friendly, and very walkable. The RV spot is a 0.3 mile walk to a fish taco shop, a cocktail lounge and an art gallery, 0.4 mile walk away from the Farmer’s Market, the nearest ice cream shop and a historic BBQ restaurant, 0.5 mile walk to a performing arts venue, a dog friendly brewery with a dog “spaw”, and an arcade! We love it here and think you will too.

It's located on a nice little piece of land right off the historic Portland Street in the heart of Roosevelt Row Arts District in Downtown Phoenix.

The neighborhood is a unique mixture of old and new that makes this one of the most sought after neighborhoods in the downtown area. One of the only truly walk-able districts in Phoenix. Restaurants, bars and coffee shops within blocks.

The space
A great opportunity to stay on the historic Portland Street of the Roosevelt Row neighborhood in a totally unique way, a remodeled vintage airstream.

It's located on a nice little piece of land right off the historic Portland Street in the heart of Roosevelt Row Arts District in Downtown Phoenix.

The AC: There are three AC's in the unit. It does a great job, however this is still a giant hunk of Aluminum boiling in the desert summer. It stays at about 75 degrees when it is 110 outside, however the sides of the Airstream remain warm. It's not like a well insulated house, there are spots in the Airstream which are colder than others. I’ve stayed here in the middle of the summer and love it, however if you have heat sensitivity, or need your unit to be an icebox, hold off and book in the fall, winter, or spring.

Portland Street itself, is arguably the most in demand street of Phoenix. The last of the original historic city, located directly in the downtown corridor. A great place to stay for a game or convention or any downtown activities. Central to everything in phoenix, and easily accessible to mass transit, blocks from the light rail system.

Phoenix can be overwhelming to someone not familiar with the city. You won't go wrong with this choice, or location. Things to walk to, easy access, and a great home base to explore the rest of the city.

Guest access
The airstream and Yard are yours. You are allowed to park next to the airstream if you want, but be aware the gate is heavy, and it's a sharp turn to get in and out. Plenty of street parking.

Other things to note
This is an Airstream from the 1970s. It is nearly 50 years old. We upgraded just about everything, however, it is still an Airstream. If you are expecting an absolute luxury stay, this isn't for you. If you want a unique experience, this is for you. It's that simple.

I love this unit and often stay in it when in town. I find it super comfortable, and love the yard and location. That all being said, this is a 50 year old airstream.

. There is a Plaza 4 minutes away where there is Walmart, Starbucks, Wendy's, Denny's, Vietnamese Restaurant, Pizza. We are 18 minutes from WestGate Glendale and State Farme Stadium.
A comfortable queen bed awaits you and you sleep like at home, there is also a sofa and games to spend an incredible time.

The space

18 minutes away is the State Farme Stadium.
We are 19 minutes from Downtown Phoenix where you will find lots of fun.
Piestewa Peak is 20 minutes from the Mobile Home.
This mountain is perfect for hiking. The bathrooms at the entrance are very clean and spacious.

Other things to note
18 minutes away is the West Gate, which is a super fun place, where there are many places to eat and drink.

We are 45 minutes from an incredible Lake, LAKE PLEASANT.
