- "We stayed at Aguilas de los Collados from Mar 30 to April 10. The apartment hotel is new and is in area of similar new buildings. It is a bit away from the town of Aguilas, about a one hour walk to the town and 40 minutes to the mall, where one could get all the necessities. With a car, access would not be a problem. We chose not to rent a car and walked everywhere and enjoyed it. Within 10 minutes we could be overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Toñi, the reception manager was very helpful. It is the only time I received a personal email from a hotel that I booked on expedia before arriving. We were able to sort out transportation issues before wee arrived. She solved any minor problem quickly and provided all the information we needed and even arranged for the maintenance man to take us to the train station when a taxi was not available. RT Canada"

We have been to Aguilas many times over the years and still find it an unspoilt and friendly town with the added bonus of not overflowing with tourists ( a good opportunity to brush up on my pretty basic Spanish!). I believe the resort is quite busy in August with Spanish holidaymakers, but we have always visited in June or September. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to others."
