- "We stayed at Aguilas de los Collados from Mar 30 to April 10. The apartment hotel is new and is in area of similar new buildings. It is a bit away from the town of Aguilas, about a one hour walk to the town and 40 minutes to the mall, where one could get all the necessities. With a car, access would not be a problem. We chose not to rent a car and walked everywhere and enjoyed it. Within 10 minutes we could be overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Toñi, the reception manager was very helpful. It is the only time I received a personal email from a hotel that I booked on expedia before arriving. We were able to sort out transportation issues before wee arrived. She solved any minor problem quickly and provided all the information we needed and even arranged for the maintenance man to take us to the train station when a taxi was not available. RT Canada"

Very peaceful location with plenty of room for families to relax and children to play safely outside the apartment. A swimming pool with views of the bay is within a few metres. This is a very good pool for young children.

The secure apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is air conditioned. Each bedroom has two comfortable beds and the apartment will accommodate 4 people.

The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, toaster and washing machine/dryer. There is a fridge/freezer and coffee maker.

The dining area includes an oak dining table seating 4 people. There is an outside table and chairs with parasol for outside dining. Also included are relaxer chairs.

You can park cars very close to the apartment. There are steps leading from the road to the apartment so it is not suitable for disabled people or anyone unable to climb stairs. The stairs do have handrails both sides.

- "This apartment is located at the Costa Calida, in a (quit new) urbanization "Los Collados" against a mountain, a few kilometers from Aguilas and Calabardina. This area has great beaches with clear water "in the front" and a rough rural sierra "at the rear". On the way to the apartment, you have a marvellous view over Aguilas bay. The apartment was clean and has everything what you need for living (including climate control). We (2 adults, 1 child 11 year) had a warm welcome when we arrive with the property manager of Oasis Properties (Lionel Nee). There are (were at our time) not so many peoply there, so we have everything (garden, swimming pool, etc...) almost private and it was lovely quite. For reaching the apartment, there were some stairs, but no problem for us. The swimming pool was relatively big, surrounded with real grass and palm trees. The only (personal) remark that we have, was that the depth of the swimming pool was from 0.10 to no more than 1.30 m (more designed for little children). When a part of the pool was more deeper, than this apartment was for us a 5 star apartment! This was our fourth stay in this urbanization Los Collados, so this mean already something: good price for quality apartment, situated on the scenic Costa Calida with the beautiful beaches, lovely restaurants and bars, nice fairs, among the pretty Spanish people."

- "Nice location. Very quiet. Bi level terraces but it was so windy we could not enjoy them. Kitchen is well equipped. Furniture is filthy dirty and covered with throws. Clutter everywhere with old magazines, books and magnets on the frig. Could not use shower in one bathroom because the doors don’t clothes. Very hard to park in garage under complex even with small car. The units of condos create a maze and we got lost a couple of times trying to return to our unit. Jose was very helpful with recreation and dining recommendations. The condo needs a woman’s touch with updating."

- "Appartment is very confortabile. Seaside is close to it. Water is transparent and fresh. Sand is a nice mix of colored small stones. Loved my hols" - "The apartment was as pictured and was excellent. Great views of the beach (and could hear the sea from the balcony). Large, spacious and worked perfectly for our family. Easy and good access to the beach, with playgrounds, volleyball nets and soccer nets on the beach as well as a pool. Water is deep as soon as you enter the water, but no undertow. Grocery store a very short drive (or mid length walk), though not much for restaurants and night life nearby. Communication with the property manager however was poor. Novasel did not respond directly to my email messages, sent generic autogenerated and non-responsive replies if they replied at all, and tried to force responses outside of VRBO. On arrival, they insisted on payment of the cleaning fee in cash as well as an extra payment in cash for bathroom towels and bed linens, pointing to their contract and disputing my VRBO reservation. I agreed to half payment for beach towels, and felt I had little choice since they said they would otherwise need to remove the bedding from the apartment. Despite paying (and not being given a receipt) I was not provided beach towels at all. None of this was identified in the VRBO description. However, as noted, the apartment was wonderful, the sea was exceptional and we had a lovely stay once we put the attempt to upcharge us behind us."
