We liked to get down early in the morning before the kids got there. There’s those silly people who put towels on loungers all day even though they didn’t arrive till early evening this affected our first day as there was lots free but with towels on them. Also I think the hotel should tell you how to enter the pool and leave the pool as we weren’t told and we had to be told by other customers and then we told others. Some of the items were just about to break which worries me as you have to pay the £100 deposit. The sofa felt like it was about to go. The freezer door wouldn’t close to we had to jam something in it to make it close but the place is still perfect for what we needed it for just some relaxing and the air cons good too."

The room was spotless and comfortable and half way through our stay a brand new sofa was installed. - "Pros: Our stay in the apartment was really nice. We have nothing to fault. The décor was almost everything new. It's really, really well maintained. The bathrooms were clean, the lounge on the balcony is highly recommended. A really great place to relax. Handing over the keys also went off very easily. No problems whatsoever. There is everything in the apartment that you need. The apartment is in a very nice complex that has a large communal pool surrounded by landscaped gardens with palm trees.
The swimming pool is open all year round. The garden is closed and can only be entered by the residents. The garden is suitable for lying in the sun or in the shade and relaxing.

The apartment is fully furnished and equipped and has a living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a beautiful glazed terrace with stunning panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding area! The windows can be slid open.
The apartment is on the 4th floor with an elevator.

- "First let me say that communication with the owner and property manager were excellent before and during our stay. The owner very kindly arranged for International TV to be installed as we do not like to eat out every night and this was very welcome as our Spanish is very limited, so a big thank you to Kai for that. The complex is very well maintained, with good standards of cleanliness. The gardens are pleasant and it’s possible to find shade amongst the mature trees when needed. A couple of Sunbeds would have been welcome as when lying on a towel we suffered several insect bites Purchased a huge throw at the local Wednesday market and that and insect repellent helped. Everyone we met in the complex was very friendly Situated on a hill a decent walk from the beach, and quite close to two very good supermarkets, we chose not to have a car and we like walking so the location was fine for us. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage, the air con and fans worked well, the weather was fantastic, but not so hot that we needed the air con, lovely breeze from the open windows . Washing machine and cooker rather perplexing at first but once we understand how they operated they worked fine. Locally a few bars/restaurants and in La Mata town itself several more We caught the bus several times into La Mata /Torrevieja and purchased a tourist travel pass for €20 which with a 60% discount which was excellent value Overall a very good stay."

- "From the moment we booked, Kasia, the owner was very informative and responsive to all questions we had. The check in process with Jenny was flawless and the apartment was exactly as described on the listing. We are a family of 4 (two children aged 5 & 8) and we found the apartment the perfect size for us and it had everything we needed including air conditioning (think we would have struggled without it) The urbanisation is small and just a few steps to the pool. Great for all ages as there is a small, medium and large pool. Our kids loved it. We always managed to get a table, chairs and a parasol every time we went down. Just outside the complex there is a handful of restaurants which serve great food for very reasonable prices. There is also a 24hr shop which has all of the necessities. It is more expensive than the supermarket but for a 20 second walk I found paying the extra was a good compromise to not walking in the heat. The shop also sells fresh bread and pastries at a low price so perfect for breakfast and lunch. The supermarket is a good 5 minute walk but if you don’t have a car, like we didn’t, then carrying large amounts of shopping can prove quite tricky. There is also a pharmacy within a 5 minute walk which came in handy a couple of times on our trip. The beach is around a 8-10 minute walk but is worth it. We found going around 3:30/4;00 was the perfect time as it does get extremely hot and it stays light until nearly 10pm so perfect for later evening trips. Take the road route as opposed to the alleyway as it’s much easier. There are a handful of restaurants and beach bars too. Vela beach restaurant did a great paella and the kids enjoyed their pizza. We took a bus one evening to the beach further up the coast however didn’t enjoy it as much so wouldn’t recommend it. The only negative I have about the area (if you don’t have a car) is it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a taxi. None of the apps work and every phone number either rings out or you are placed on hold and it never gets answered. We are very much pool and beach people so it didn’t put too much of a downer on our holiday but the 2 nights we tried to venture out, we ended up walking to the beach. I would either recommend hiring a car or be prepared to stay within walking distance for the duration of your stay. I would highly recommend Beniconnect for airport transfers and book both ways before you arrive. Overall a lovely chilled out family holiday."

- "From the moment I set foot in this gorgeous property I could feel the stresses of life just melt away. The living room is big with ample room for 4 people, great kitchen everything you need spices etc.. ensuite bedroom is invaluable if travelling with another person and a full size bathroom as well. I arrived on a dark Nov evening & opening the balcony door was greeted by a warm affectionate breeze, the sound of the sea & twinkling lights of harbour in the distance. After an exceptional nights sleep in a very comfy bed I woke refreshed & one could be forgiven for thinking i was somehow transported during the night & I woke up on a cruise ship. Laying in bed all you can see is the the sea, the sounds and pre dawn colours before sunrise is food for even the weariest of travellers. Mornings can be spent on balcony as it gets full sun until about 1pm ( imagine this is later in summer when sun is higher ) then grab your sun chair & book to soak up more rays on beach. Everything you need is just steps away, supermarket to the left about 5 minute walk, Torrevieja to the right along beach about 20 mins slow walk. Hiring a bike locally is easy & let’s you venture further afield. La Zenia shopping is 5 minutes in taxi and costs about €6-7. Big market in Torrevieja on Friday. Lots of restaurants across the road to cater for all tastes. My favourite is the one couple doors away facing sea. Returning to apt in evening dining on balcony, watching sun set, reading, enjoying sights & smells of holidays & being lulled to sleep by sounds of sea is pure joy. A car is not necessary & taxi to & from airport is very reasonable. Local taxi service is also from Torrevieja if you are out late. Torrevieja is a lovely town leave the tourist section and stroll the little streets & enjoy coffee with the locals in tiny coffee houses. Tip if ur sense of direction is not great pin your start point on google maps, then stroll to your hearts content & when your ready google will walk you back. Ya just have to love technology. As I was travelling alone Andrzej & his lovely wife insisted I call them should I need anything during my stay as they live locally. This is a 5 star property and a 5 star host. I will be back :-)"
