This Spanish style 2-bedroom ground floor apartment is situated within an established complex, in a traditional Spanish resort. It is a perfect holiday for families, single people, and couples alike. A small knowledge of the Spanish language is advised but the locals are only too pleased to help if you are willing to try.
The apartment is within secure grounds, with access through keyed security gates. It is overlooking a large pool with a children's pool attached. The property has two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds; there is an open plan living/dining room with a sofa bed and dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped leading on to a utility area housing washing machine, broom, and mop etc. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet, wash basin, mirror, and bidet. There is a large patio area housing table, chairs, and sun loungers, at the front of the apartment with views of the kiosk and pool. There is a winding, retractable awning which covers the patio area when the sun is too hot. At the back of the apartment there is a small play area within the confined gated grounds which is ideal for children to play safely but set apart from adult relaxation.
The Kiosk and poolside bar, opens in the holiday months of July and August offering reasonably priced drinks, snacks, ice-creams, tapas and pre-ordered meals, not matched anyway else in Bahia, creating a friendly hustle and bustle of a holiday complex.
The area offers in the summer months many beach water sports: paddle boarding; inflatable water gyms; jet skis; bottomless boat excursions, as well as cycling and horse riding.
If holidaying here out of the busy holiday season, a quiet, tranquil atmosphere is enjoyed, perfect for the elder clientele or couples and single people looking for a typical spanish retreat. During these months there is still many restaurants open within walking distance.
A large Sunday market is located outside the complex which sells a multitude of goods, ie fruit and veg, hot chickens, nuts, sweets, delicacies, and an array of stalls with clothes and household goods waiting to be bartered on. Although close, the bartering and general noise of a busy market is not heard within the apartment complex where there is still a quiet, lazy Sunday morning feel. The Sunday market operates all through the year and is a must for all bargain hunters.

Bolneuvo: Bolneuvo is a small seaside village with very good amenities. It has several good restaurants and bars as well as a well stocked supermarket. The apartment is less than five minutes walk from the village from where buses run approximately hourly to the nearby Puerto de Mazarron which is realistically walkable at 4km. Buses to Murcia and Cartagena also leave from here. Although Bolneuvo is not a typical package tourist destination it possesses both tranquillity and also a more lively time in the Summer months. As well as a wide sandy beach, there are also smaller coves a short distance up the coast which again is walkable. There is a dog-friendly beach nearby.

Puerto de Mazarron: Puerto de Mazarron is a working port with several sandy beaches. There are many bars and restaurants where you can eat outside close to the sea. It has many different shops as well as a daily fish market and a lively Sunday market. There is a good information centre with very helpful staff who can advise on most aspects.

Local amenities: Swimming, fishing, walking and cycling. There is a beautiful 18 hole golf course at La Manga (40 minutes away) and a 9 hole golf course at Camposol (15 minutes away).

- "Pros: Very easy to get to from Murcia airport. The villa is easily connected and within walking distance to all shops and a great Sunday market with local produce and crafts. It’s easily connected but just far enough out that you’re not in the bustle of the town and able to really relax in the great pool. The villa has a bbq on one of its 3 outdoor spaces, which we took advantage of with the food from the local market. It also has some amazing restaurants and bars within close walking distance. I would definitely recommend El Faro (an amazing cocktail and ice cream bar on the hill overlooking Puerto de Mazzaron) especially in the evening at sunset. It was only around 6 EUR return to travel to Cartagena the main city close to Mazzaron, from the bus station which was a 5 minute walk from the villa, overall the journey was 59 mins each way through the hills surrounding Mazzaron. In Cartagena we visited the Roman Theatre and the Maritime Archeological Museum, which had a display on a very old wreck, which coincidentally the original lies just meters out from one of the beautiful beaches in Puerto De Mazzaron. There are also great shops and bars to enjoy too. Next time we visit we will definitely hire bikes from one of the three bike hire shops close to the villa and head out to the other beaches and towns close to Mazarrón. With so much variation on things to do, the villa is well located in a beautiful town. Allowing you to head out and explore or just sit by the pool in the complex and just relax in peace."

- "David was a very professional host and very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and directions to the airport.Temperatures were in excess of 35 degrees most days ,so air conditioning in the apartment was most welcome.A variety of beach locations are a short drive away,my personal opinion is a car would be essential for accessing supermarkets and places of interest." - "We had a fantastic stay.The host David was very welcoming and on hand if we needed him. The accommodation is immaculate and very comfortable. The area is ideal with the beach only minutes away and some bars and restaurants a five minute walk away with the port of Mazerron a twenty minute walk along the beachfront.We will definitely stay here again if we're in this area Once again thank you David for a fabulous stay!"
