- "Lovely little cottage and a great place to get away from it all. Actually the size it looks in the pictures rather than being smaller like they usually are! One thing to note - no wifi, and poor mobile signal. This is exactly what I wanted, so I was very happy. Small shop in Kiltarlity (5 minute drive) and Coop in Beauly (10 minute drive), but nothing in walking distance (again, exactly what I wanted). The bed is perhaps a bit small, but it is very comfortable. Maybe I should just lose weight... Overall, fantastic cottage in a lovely spot and I'd be very happy to go back. We loved the small lodge and had lovely log fires in the evenings, although the central heating worked fine, it was very cosy. Lovely comfortable double bed and perfect single room for our daughter. Plenty of grounds around the castle for exploring and wildlife watching. There were deer, badgers and red squirrels and lots of lovely birds to see! Would definitely recommend. Fired up the hot tub a couple of times and had a little go in the boat, but not great at rowing ." - "We had a wonderful stay at the Boathouse. The location is superb with lovely views over the lake, sunrises and sunsets and stillness. We felt we had our own mountain and lake. - "We greatly enjoyed our stay in Tomich. The property was very comfortable and warm and well maintained." - "Excellent accommodation, spacious and comfortable.Good facilities.and plenty walking opportunities if you are bringing your dog." - "Once again we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was warm (the new radiators are a great improvement and were a great boon in the very cold weather we experienced), comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly appreciated the porch which provided ample space for boots, wellies and shoes and which enabled us to keep the cold outside at bay."

- "A beautiful and very comfortable cottage perfect for an away-from-it-all retreat. I particularly loved the characterful period features e.g. working shutters and open fire. The honestly system ensured a convenient supply of firewood, which saved having to drive to supermarkets to top up. The kids would have liked wi-fi but I think we all benefited greatly from a week offline! The settling of this cottage in autumn is utterly glorious. I would definitely recommend this if you want a relaxing, cosy, escape from the real world. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo"
