The chalet is positioned in a commanding position for views over the countryside and mountains. A peaceful setting awaits....

It has two bedrooms with main en suite and a further bathroom with shower. A large fully equipped kitchen, washing machine included, leads into an open-plan living room which has plenty of comfortable seating for watching either the views, or your favourite programme on the 48" TV. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed with reading lights on either side. An added bonus with this chalet is there's a vanity unit in the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has two single beds. There's plenty of storage space in either bedroom for clothes etc.

The front of the chalet has the FULL length and height double patio front doors which leads onto the patio for maximum views of landscape and mountains. Just outside these doors you will be standing on decking which extends the FULL 40ft x 3m length of the chalet with the front decking extending an EXTRA 4M. Biggest decking on site so NOTHING IS CRAMMED. A wood burning 'braai' ( BBQ) is for your use.

There are also 4 push-bikes in the shed which guests are welcome to use. These bikes belong to the owners so guests use them at their own risk.

The area has lots to offer besides the ski-ing areas: walkways, birdwatching, golf courses, all in close proximity to the caravan park. The Landmark Centre is only a few miles away in Carrbridge. Aviemore is only 4 miles away, with lots of shops, restaurants and bars to suit everyone. Apart from miles and miles of cycling to enjoy the village also has it's own railway station where Steam Trains which venture from Aviemore to Broomhill, passing through Boat of Garten. A stylish, bright and comfortable recently refurbished 2 bedroom semi-detached house located in the heart of the Highlands. "Cairncraig" is found in Boat of Garten, one of the most popular villages in the Cairngorm National Park.

The property is on one level and comprised of two bedrooms, one double and one twin, sleeping a total of up to four guests. There is a family sized shower-room, a fully-equipped dining kitchen and a lounge. For younger guests there is a travel cot and high chair, available on request. This is one of the best holiday lets we have stayed in and we really appreciated the welcome treat on arrival and other touches that don't cost much but are thoughtful and make the stay more comfortable - especially for parents! Rear gate allows direct access to the wooded trails and the various walks from the lodge are first class. Due to the layout the bedrooms are very private and individual The charming interior is well furnished, and consistent with a lodge of its age. Some minor changes if it was ours would be more outdoor dining crockery and the charming open shed at the bottom of the garden could do with a clean. Overall- a gem of a find and one we can see ourselves rebooked each year. As always GNL were instrumental in matching our needs to the property and their customer service is second to none. Croft Kincardine is very secluded and off the beaten track. There are no neighbours in the near vicinity making it very peaceful and private and you can enjoy the uninterrupted views across the River Spey from the hot tub or by the fire pit. The view here is simply amazing! Fishing is available on the River Spey on request.

- "We loved our week at Boat of Garten. The lodge was perfect and we especially enjoyed the outside space - garden, hot tub, fire pit. Loved evening walks along the river bank to watch the otters. Fantastic light evenings over the longest day and we were able to sit out enjoying the views until late at night. The location was gorgeous. Easy access also to Boat of Garten , Aviemore, loch Morlich etc. The only problem we had in the lodge was the fridge struggled to keep our food cool and the freezer needed defrosted."

Our newly renovated house is ready for your arrival. It is set in the quiet village of Boat of Garten in the Cairngorn National Park. This house provides two king sized double bedrooms, one bunk bed room and a single bedroom with pull out. It benefits from a large open plan living room, with cosy winter fire and large kitchen and dining room table. It also benefits from an amazing eco thermal battery store water system and smart wifi electric radiators. We have two bathrooms, a large shower and bath downstairs and a small WC upstairs. There is a large boot room/porch entrance for all your boots, bags and coats. We love well behaved dogs - but not in the bedrooms please. We know you will want to bring your bikes and action gear with you - so we have a purpose built bike shed in the garden to safely store your items away at the end of the day. Unfortunately, the 2 small fridges are not adequate for 10 people, and the kitchen was a bit shy on the glasses and cutlery front, but other than that, it was an absolutely great house.
