The chalet is positioned in a commanding position for views over the countryside and mountains. A peaceful setting awaits....

It has two bedrooms with main en suite and a further bathroom with shower. A large fully equipped kitchen, washing machine included, leads into an open-plan living room which has plenty of comfortable seating for watching either the views, or your favourite programme on the 48" TV. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed with reading lights on either side. An added bonus with this chalet is there's a vanity unit in the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has two single beds. There's plenty of storage space in either bedroom for clothes etc.

The front of the chalet has the FULL length and height double patio front doors which leads onto the patio for maximum views of landscape and mountains. Just outside these doors you will be standing on decking which extends the FULL 40ft x 3m length of the chalet with the front decking extending an EXTRA 4M. Biggest decking on site so NOTHING IS CRAMMED. A wood burning 'braai' ( BBQ) is for your use.

There are also 4 push-bikes in the shed which guests are welcome to use. These bikes belong to the owners so guests use them at their own risk.

A stylish, bright and comfortable recently refurbished 2 bedroom semi-detached house located in the heart of the Highlands. "Cairncraig" is found in Boat of Garten, one of the most popular villages in the Cairngorm National Park.

The property is on one level and comprised of two bedrooms, one double and one twin, sleeping a total of up to four guests. There is a family sized shower-room, a fully-equipped dining kitchen and a lounge. For younger guests there is a travel cot and high chair, available on request. There was a welcome folder and the owners encouraged holiday makers to contact them should any questions remain unanswered. The check out information was clear too. This is one of the best holiday lets we have stayed in and we really appreciated the welcome treat on arrival and other touches that don't cost much but are thoughtful and make the stay more comfortable - especially for parents! Rear gate allows direct access to the wooded trails and the various walks from the lodge are first class. Due to the layout the bedrooms are very private and individual The charming interior is well furnished, and consistent with a lodge of its age. Some minor changes if it was ours would be more outdoor dining crockery and the charming open shed at the bottom of the garden could do with a clean. Overall- a gem of a find and one we can see ourselves rebooked each year. As always GNL were instrumental in matching our needs to the property and their customer service is second to none. Take a trip on the Strathspey Steam Railway (110 yards from the house) or the Cairngorm Mountain Funicular Railway to enjoy breathtaking scenery whilst getting some clean Scottish air! Close by is the RSPB reserve at Loch Garten and a renowned golf course, with pleasant woodland walks literally 55 yards from the doorstep. Top quality water sports on Loch Morlich and Loch Insh are also nearby. For the less energetic, just relax and unwind in this lovely area.
