- "Lovely home and well maintained grounds with propane gas grill, jacuzzi, and lots of outdoor space. Two king beds and a full with two full bathrooms. With six adults we had one sleeping on the couch, but the full may work for two smallish kids. Master bedroom has a snug shower that worked for us, but may be tight for someone who is tall and/or large. Dining table worked well for our six adults. Good counter space in the kitchen with three stools for additional breakfast seating. From the house highway 395 is just a couple miles away and you can get to Mammoth Lakes in about 40 minutes and the Tioga pass Yosemite entrance in about 70 minutes. Owner is nice and easy to contact."

This residence faces south towards open land, with amazing views. It is located on a quiet street downtown.

This unit has beds for 4 people. For additional people, it will be $40 per person/per night.

The entire downstairs unit is yours, including a spacious living room, two bedrooms (they are small), and some indoor space perfect for bikes, crashpads, climbing gear, or a pack and play! There is a big yard, with chairs and a table to use while you BBQ or just want to enjoy the evenings outside.

Other things to note:
The property is walking distance to restaurants and shops. There is also an amazing walking trail and the canal just a two-minute walk down the street. Bishop is also a great place to stay if you want to ski at Mammoth, but don't want to deal with the crowds and snow. It is an easy drive to so many other day trip destinations like Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite, Mono Lake, the ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, Bishop Creek, Crowley Lake, Convict Lake... and the list goes on.

It is located in a lovely residential neighborhood in west Bishop, close to shops and restaurants on the main street. My daughter stayed for 5 weeks while working for Inyo County. She loved her stay and was sad to leave. The owners are very nice as is the resident of the other unit. They were very responsive to all questions. We would stay there again! - "Very comfortable room. Extremely convenient location; walkable to a lot of great places. Robin is very communicative!" - "We loved our stay but a few things could have been better. We had to move the beds to find the outlets since we both have Cpap machines. It was very dusty in the corners under the beds. The bed I slept in (on the right when facing the beds) felt like it needs replacing. I had to sleep diagonally in order to avoid feeling like I was going to roll off the edge of the bed. The coffee machine didn't work properly (or we couldn't figure it out, especially since there were no instructions) but I was at least able to heat up water to make tea. The bathroom, though compact, was beautiful but it needs better ventilation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the Parlor Suite and would recommend it."

Owners were very responsive to all of my inquiries and gave me fantastic ideas for autumn foliage, hikes and other items of interest in this amazing area.
