- "Rented Riverwatch for an end of summer getaway for our family of 4. Was the perfect size for our family. The bedrooms were beautiful and cozy, the entire houses decor was perfect. We loved walking down to the dock to watch the sunset. It is a bit away from the center of things, but it was only about a 10 minute drive into town. The other thing was that I assumed Being on the water there would be a small beach nearby but there is no entry point to the water on that street. Had a bit of an issue getting into the property which was quickly addressed but would be helpful to add the lock instructions to the welcome email. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and can’t wait to return!!"

We were lucky to have perfect weather for it. Breakfast the next morning at East Boothbay General Store was delicious…egg sandwiches, homemade donuts, muffins and breads. Just a short walk away is Kerr + Jones Fine Art & Craft. I wanted everything in there! And don’t miss Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens where you can see giant trolls by artist Thomas Dambo. - "We just need a place to stay for a quick visit to Boothbay and this little cabin was absolutely lovely. We were quite comfortable and very close to Boothbay Harbor as well as the Botanical Gardens. The house was very clean, new, and the owners have thought of many details to make their guests' trip wonderful. It was stocked with many things that homeowners of rentals might not think of, such as extra paper towels, spices, condiments, a hamper, plenty of towels (so guests don't need to do laundry daily), nightlights (which my kids appreciated), sandwich bags (helpful for a picnic), and more! They also had extra eggs from chickens at their own home and left us a dozen, which we used to make egg salad sandwiches for the road. There were a few games and corn hole, which we enjoyed as well. The property is close to everything but located in a private, quiet area, which we always look for to have some quiet down time. Weston's communication was excellent and he also responded right away when I had a question. Also, the owners have made thoughtful decisions that maximize the usage of the space. For instance, the coffee table converts into an elevated table for dining. The mirror in the bathroom is also a cabinet, providing storage space. We highly recommend this property and will likely be back ourselves!"

The proprietor is friendly and responsive and living in a separate adjacent lakeside home. The lake is stunning and having a canoe to circumnavigate the lake is magical. There are loons calling on the lake. It is a quiet, beautiful spot with all the comforts of home at your fingertips. The cell phone reception was adequate but the TV reception is limited. For a small space, it may be somewhat overpriced with a high service cost but the other features make up for it. Enjoy!"

Still trying to reach them to explain what/why this charge was put on my card. The place was nice. Location was near places to eat and near the downtown gathering area for the town. Pictures were accurate. I would stay again but it needs to be disclosed about whatever the high fee charge is for. Nothing in my emails or on this site explained any additional resort fee or hold fee. "

- "This is a beautiful spot to unplug. The view is wonderful especially for a sunset. Enjoyed seeing bald eagles, heron and other bird life. The house has everything you need. Lots of area rugs so just watch your step. Bring your own kayak, paddle board or canoe. There is space to store it under the deck. Big front yard to play yard games if you bring those too. - "Host was very helpful once Evolve got her contact info to us. Linda was very accommodating. I would suggest since we pay a high usage and cleaning fee, that guests are NOT asked to take trash to the transfer station. That was unreasonable. Also most rentals we have been in have stopped asking guests to strip the beds. This is still on hosts list of things to do before we left."
