We recommend you arrive with food in hand, as the nearest grocery is a 15-minute drive to the Tillamook Safeway.

- "We very much enjoyed our stay in Cape Meares at this cute and spacious property! The house has 1 1/2 bathrooms and a very nice washer/dryer, a comfy living room with lots of sofa/loveseat seating, a large dining table, a good-sized kitchen (though the electric stove burners are all on a slant, they work fine), and a big, enclosed backyard, great if you are bringing a dog and kids. The one thing we missed was attention to the sorts of details that would make a stay more comfortable for a family with babies, toddlers, and/or preschool-aged children. Here're the things we had to bring along that we would have loved to have at the property: Pack n play with folding mattress High chair (ikea would be fine) Baby gate for bottom of stairs Child proof lock on under-sink cabinet Black out curtains in children’s bedroom (it is VERY bright in the summertime, our preschooler asked why we couldn't turn off the lights when we put them to bed at 8pm) Bonus: Bucket of beach toys For not that much money, all of these items could be provided for a much nicer and safer stay for young families. I'd also note that the backyard swing is not in working order -- it should either be fixed up or taken down."

The Peptide is a 2 bdrm./1 bath cottage in the quiet community of Cape Meares which is located on the South end of the Tillamook Bay and Lake Cape Meares. Enjoy the 7 mile drive from Tillamook as you follow the spectacular Bay to our home. When you arrive you will find a queen size pillow topped mattress in each bedroom covered with 100% cotton sheets. The kitchen is well equipped with what you should need to create your meals including the convenience of a microwave. The livingroom is a cozy place to read, play a game or watch one of our many movies on the DVD player and also has a wood burning stove to heat up those cool mornings and evenings. There is a laundry room for your convenience and a mud room in back for a sandy entry. Our newest addition is the wood deck! We understand you love your pet family and welcome up to 2 small to medium-sized housebroken , well-behaved dogs, but it is imperative they are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms. - "Great spot" - "Beautiful view and great beach!" - "We had a fabulous time here! The house as just as advertised, near what we wanted to do and spotless. We're not crazy about the extra fees we had to pay to Vacasa and Vrbo both, and the elevator access was perfect for a family member with limited mobility. We'll be back!" - "This house was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Easy walk to the beach. Because it can accommodate so many people, I would recommend at least another service for 4 in terms of dishes and silverware, but we made it work for our party of 6 by running the dishwasher everyday. Plenty of towels, space to relax, easy parking. The outdoor living space left a little to be desired - just a tiny deck off the main living area with two chairs that weren't especially inviting. There is a large deck off the bedrooms on the second level, but no place really to comfortably relax. Overall, it was a great place."
