We were arriving very late at night and they made sure that everything was very well setup for us. The location is great. There are quite a lot of beaches within 10 minutes drive, a couple are less than five minutes. Beware, all these beaches have some great waves. If you don't like that it may be something to think about. But the beaches feel very exclusive and are stunning. The view from the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We had no mosquito issues in the room which was very nice. They didn't manage to sneak in. The rooms are spacious and they all have a terrace with a kitchen. This is great in the evenings when you want to try your culinary skills with local ingredients."

Rooms are comfortable and very spacious, situated in a tropical garden. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful to this lone traveler who speaks just a bit of French. The breakfast buffet--included in the room rate--is a very nice plus. The best fact if the hotel is it's great proximity to Gran Anse beach, and a quick drive to Deshaies where you'll find most if the restaurants. "

Best beach we have seen in Guadeloupe just steps below villa with amazing snorkelling right off the beach." - "My husband and I and our son and fiance stayed here for 6 nights. It was our first visit to Guadeloupe. We are not the kind of travelers that say "why spend money on where you stay, you're never there anyway". This villa was EXACTLY what we wanted. The views are unbelievably beautiful. Early mornings were delightful with a cool breeze and little birds sharing our pastries. Sunsets and stargazing were incredible. The pool was clean and refreshing. And, the beach? The private path was easy to navigate for those reasonably fit, we had no issues. As it was off season, there were rarely more than 10 people on the entire beach. We enjoyed snorkeling on both sides of La Plage de Leroux, the water clear and sparkling. We slept well on the comfortable bedding in the air conditioned bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped. FYI, we shopped for groceries at a Super U in Bouillante and Sainte Rose but on the last day discovered that we could find pretty much everything we needed at the market in DeShaies! After much searching, we also discovered we could have found the memory card we needed in a gift shop in DeShaies as well! Villa de Nid is so convenient to everything you need and many activities on the island! Franck, we can't thank you enough for your gracious care and hospitality and sharing this delightful vacation home with us. It was exactly what we were looking for and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here."

Made entirely of wood in shimmering colors, in the middle of a flower garden, it is composed of 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink, a living room, a fitted kitchen opening onto a large sheltered terrace. A pretty swimming pool of 7.5m by 3.5m, secured by an alarm, borders the villa.

The starting point for the 9 km coastal hiking trail to the village of Deshaies, passing through the most beautiful beaches in Deshaies: La Perle Beach and Grande Anse Beach.

Deshaies Botanical Gardens are 7 km away. Numerous hiking trails are available within a 40 km radius. Soufrière Volcano is 65 km away.

- "Villa Coco is a perfect home to visit Guadeloupe and the western side of the island. We were greeted promptly by Thierry the home's caretaker upon our arrival. He showed us around and made sure we settled in. The pool is inviting and receives great sun and the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. Villa Coco's outside areas are wonderful, we spent many hours on the covered porch playing games, listening to music or enjoying a meal. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The bedrooms are air conditioned and comfortable. The house was very clean and modern. Everything worked well. The garden surrounding the house is beautiful and makes the house very private. The pictures don't do the house justice, it is pettier than the pictures. We saw countless birds, geckos, an iguana and chicken with babies all in the yard. The house is an easy walk to the Langley resort and all of its amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the house."
