There are beautiful pieces of the past- the hardwood floors, ornate stair rails and original doorknobs, yet, the kitchen and bathrooms are beautifully updated with new fixtures and appliances. - "Jennifer's place is a beautifully renovated farmhouse with amazing space, amenities, and tons of country charm. We loved the giant game room with ping pong and board games. Spent a lot of time hanging out in the beautiful backyard playing lawn games and enjoying the shade from the huge trees. Kitchen is fully stocked and Jennifer puts out snacks and apples fresh from her tree. Upstairs rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Very relaxing place. Sandhill cranes feeding in the fields across the street. Our 2 kids said "this is the best VRBO ever!" We had 6 guests in total and had plenty of space. So picturesque! Jennifer has done a special job on this property. It's well worth a visit!"

Interior of cabin have 2 bedrooms both have a queen bed in each. Both bedroom have TVs. There is a queen air mattress to sleep 2 more. One bathroom with a shower, sink vanity and toilet. Living room has a sofa and chairs great for relaxing with the family. Full size kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven, and sink. We have a k cup and pot coffee (please bring your own favorite coffee to enjoy). Indoor and outdoor dining area on premise. Bbq grill provided on deck.
Other things to note
We provide bedding and 6 bath towels per stay. There is NO washer and dryer on property please bring extra towels for the lake if desire.

Plenty of space to spread out and very comfortable. I was a little worried that the air conditioner wouldn't keep up, but when we arrived I realized it was a new mini-split rather than a window unit and it kept us very comfortable on the hot weekend we were there. It's on a quiet part of the lake, so there was almost no boat traffic, and the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the sunset, fishing from the pier, or whatever. Would definitely recommend."

I do require photo ID's for all adults 18 yo+ and the first names and ages of all children under 18 yo. This is used for emergency and liability reasons only. There are no exceptions to this requirement. All ID's are held securely for your protection.

The main renter must be 25 yo+. Please contact me for potential exceptions based on previous host recommendations.

Maximum occupancy is 8 people including infants and children due to rural septic limitations. Please do not ask for exceptions to this capacity. I will not be able to honor any requests for more than 8 people.

Parking on this residential driveway is limited to 3 vehicles including any boat or other trailers. all other vehicles must be parked off site. Park on the narrow residential road at your own risk. No parking is allowed on the grass or mound septic system.

please note that this is a NON-smoking property. if there are smokers in your group you will need to let them.know that they can't smoke in the home or the decks or within 20' of a door or window. All smoking materials must be disposed of on a fireproof device and cannot be thrown on the lawn, lake or any garbage container. If they are unable to comply there will be a $200 surcharge to cleanup any smoking related materials.

Pet friendly but pet owners must pick up waste immediately and dispose of it responsibly. Petsay not be left alone in the unit unless they are in a crate. I have an extra large crate for your use but you must bring you own pet bedding. No cats are allowed in the unit at any time.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes/glassware, cookware, utensils, toaster and coffee maker.

Bathroom offers a full size shower & tub and comes stocked with towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and hair dryer. Laundry with washer & dryer are included.

2 Bedrooms: each bedroom includes clean & comfortable bedding, a dresser & closet. Bedroom 1 offers a Queen bed, Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed; the bottom is a full and the top and trundle below is a twin.

The rural setting offers tons of time for relaxation. Whether you love to sit on the shoreline (60ft) and watch the birds (the Pelican's are amazing), get out on the water (we provide 3 kayaks free of charge), relax on the swing or play games in the large & shaded yard - we have plenty of options for all.

Bring your boat! Our cottage is located within walking distance from the boat launch. You can dock your boat on our private dock. We do recommend pulling it off the water each night. If you choose to leave it on the dock, we are not liable for any damage to your boat that may occur. If your boat damages the dock, you will be responsible.

Beaver Dam Lake is a 6,718 acre full recreation lake. It has a maximum depth of 7 feet with a muddy bottom. The water offers great fishing and our cottage is located on the north side, which has much less boat activity. If you're looking for crystal clear water and a sandy bottom, this is not it. If you are hoping to swim and the water on the shoreline is not to your standards, we recommend taking the kayaks out to the middle of the lake to cool off. If you're looking for a public beach, we recommend Crystal Lake Park or Dodge County Ledge Park.
Our cottage is located near Wood's Liquor Landing so you can easily walk for a drink or enjoy the occasional live music from our backyard.

We love that we're less than 5 minutes from Fox Lake, offering another amazing fishing/full rec lake and a quick spot to grab anything we might have forgot.

We loved being right on the water, fishing off the dock and enjoying some time out on the kayaks that were provided in the boathouse. This wonderful, cozy 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home is located on a quiet dead end country road. There is a county park just down the road with a campground, playground for kids and a public boat launch. Inside you'll find everything you need in the well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Spend the days lakeside in the large back yard with lots of room to play yard games or for the kids to run around. There is a fire pit near the lake and a pier for fishing or to park your own boat. Watch the sunrise from the deck or take your boat and watch the amazing sunset from the water. Star gaze from the waters edge at night. Its so quiet here - simply amazing!

Enjoy what Beaver Dam has to offer with a beautiful lake, great fishing, local hiking trails and PRIVACY! My fabulous neighbors want you to enjoy yourself and will let you have the peace and privacy you deserve. Live music one block away on the weekends, wonderful pizza place that is five minutes away, Chippy’s popcorn and ice cream across the street! House is fully furnished and has foosball, Mrs.PAC MAN, air hockey, ping pong, corn hole, ladder ball game and board games in case of a rainy day!! Five minute drive to the local movie theater. You can always just relax, watch one of the multiple smart tvs and grill out on the Weber gas grill. WiFi included! Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle boards use included! Boat rental from marina can be kept at my pier! Just dock for the day and relax!!

The best location on Beaver Dam Lake!! We have it all! A tastefully updated interior, an amazing backyard leading to the waters edge where you find your own private dock where you can tie your boat, go fishing, or swim. Included in your stay, you have use of the 1 canoe, 3 kayaks, a variety of inner-tubes, and life jackets of all sizes. No need to bring firewood as it's free for you to use in your included fire pit. Take advantage of the huge backyard and try your luck at bad mitten, corn hole, or volleyball. We have several yard games for you to enjoy. In the summer months, you can listen to live music coming from across the bay. You can join the fun at this nightlife hot spot either by boat or a quick stroll over the dam on foot. There are a total of 13 restaurants and bars within walking distance, and several quaint downtown shops to check out. Be sure to check out Stormy's Music Venue to see who is playing while you are in town. You will be surprised at their high-quality lineup. But wait there is more! Adventure awaits when conditions are right! We are located 2 1/2 blocks from the kayak put-in point on the Beaver Dam river where you would experience a class 1, 5 star white water rapids that runs 5.5 miles. Shuttle service can be arranged with the Beaver Paddlers Inc. You have to see the water ski show put on by the Beaver Land Must-ski water ski team every Sunday at 6 pm. Enjoy right from the backyard with death-defying jumps and towering pyramids or walk 1 block down to Tahoe Park for the full show. Don't pack too much food! We are 2 1/2 blocks from Annabelle's Ice Cream Parlor! Voted the number #1 lunch spot in Dodge County! Among a delicious large food menu are 24 flavors of Cedar Crest ice cream! The first ice cream cone is on us! We look forward to making your stay amazing!!
