We were able to bring our large dog which is one of the primary reasons we selected this place. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The drive to Madison is quick and easy too. Though the house is close to the road, it is very quiet and peaceful. We were able to enjoy the tranquility while sitting on the back deck watching the night sky. Detailed Overview

Vila Azul has gorgeous wood flooring throughout the main living areas and bedrooms, an elegant kitchen, a bathroom with a jetted tub and in-floor heating, and a fenced back yard. Plenty of entertainment options—most of the major streaming services for watching movies, shows, and some sports; a good selection of board games; enjoy time on the deck or around the fire pit; the little ones can entertain themselves at their own play table with books, coloring books, and games.

Great neighborhood with short walk to parks, shops, restaurants, and the Pheasant Branch Conservancy. Quick and easy access to the Beltline (Route 12), downtown Madison, and surrounding areas.

- "Great continental breakfast. Pool and hot tub were ok. Rooms were clean and nice." - "This property is actually in a Staywood Suites extended stay property. So, you get all the amenities of staying at a hotel with more space. The property was clean and everything worked as expected. For some reason the kitchen area floor was really sticky and we had to wear shoes in that area because socks sticking to the floor was kind of gross. Aside from that this property was very clean and in great shape. It's in a nice quiet area and we slept well. There weren't really any food options within in walking distance but there were quite a few restaurants within a short drive from the hotel. We stayed here for a gaming convention at the Alliant Energy Center and it was a quick 15 min drive into the Energy Center. It was a bit confusing but you just check in at the hotel front desk. The staff at the Staybridge Suites was very friendly and amazing. They do have a free warm breakfast that we partook of. We didn't have much interaction with the host aside from the initial confirmation email but everything was as advertised. Would recommend and we plan on booking at the Staybridge suites again the next time we are in the area."

We were happy that we had the pool to ourselves on the weekdays we stayed! We would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Madison. Great value and experience."

If you feel like venturing further out, the city of Middleton has a free trolley that you can take to the downtown shopping district, Greenway Station, Pleasant View Golf Course, or any of the other beautiful parks in the city. Your unit is fitted with all of the modern amenities and also features oversized windows and a balcony/patio so you can take in the picturesque views. While staying here you can also relax in the courtyard or take a walk around the pond.

The apartment was very quiet and the beds were reasonably comfortable. There was ample space to hang up clothes but no drawer storage space, so our folded clothes had to stay in the suitcase. The apartment was very modern and clean. If anything it was a bit empty feeling with very little decoration; I happen to like this when renting a house/apt it just looks more clean and I don't like moving around someone's stuff to use counterspace. However, if you are looking for a lot of personality in your rental you won't get it here. What you will get is a very clean and modern space that feels brand new! We loved the smart TV which allowed us to log into our Netflix and Disney Plus accounts with no issue. Really enjoyed staying here a lot. We were hear for a gaming conference and the Alliant Energy Center was an easy 15 min drive away. Really no complaints and would highly recommend, especially for the great price. This was much cheaper than a hotel room and much, much nicer."

Our 900 sqft basement apartment features a master bedroom, connecting kitchenette/sitting room, and bathroom. We are a 20-minute drive to the UW campus, Capitol Square, and Dane County Airport—minutes from Middleton Pheasant Branch Conservancy for hiking and biking. Madison and Middleton consistently win "Best Places to Live" awards for quality of life.
And did I mention we are pet-friendly?

- "We feel like we were staying with new family members, Phil and Vicky (and Taz) were so welcoming with a heavy dose of Midwest hospitality. Only a few issues with some cobwebs throughout the unit, a freezer which needed attention (needs defrosting), and some details in the bathroom needing attention. Otherwise, the space (huge!) and privacy are all unmatched. We will not hesitate to stay here again, hopefully next time a little later in the season when we can use the massive pool! It ended up being fine as my group spend most of our time outside hiking. The hot tub was excellent for our sore muscles. We had hoped to chill after a busy day of hiking with a movie (we brought dvds), but there was no dvd player to be found. Overall it was fine and fulfilled the need for a place to sleep and relax in the hot tub, but I probably could have saved a fair amount if I had booked directly from the hotel (not condo)."
