- "Very nice staff." - "We had to bail on a drive north because of a really bad snow storm and could barely make it past the next exit so this was our next best option over spending time in a ditch. We booked through hotels.com about 30 mins before we made it there, so I understand not necessarily knowing we were coming. When we arrived, the office was locked with a note directing us to call the person on duty. He was very prompt in coming over. It was odd however that he didn’t actually know how much to charge me, and relied on me telling him what I paid (so I guess I could have made up anything?). We then were given a room that wasn’t what we paid for (about $15 different) but my friend and I were so tired we didn’t bother saying anything. While extremely dated, with choice coverings of defects, the bed was clean and we had a decent nights sleep. It was definitely a higher price point than what we got but it was the only choice we had in the storm. "

There are beautiful pieces of the past- the hardwood floors, ornate stair rails and original doorknobs, yet, the kitchen and bathrooms are beautifully updated with new fixtures and appliances. It’s beautifully decorated! We kayaked on the lake and loved seeing the different homes on the waterfront. There is a cool electronic game board in the living room which was really a hit. Dog Supplies:

-Attention dog owners! We have you covered with a variety of amenities for your furry friends. Our provisions include crates, comfortable beds, bowls, leashes, and more. Please note that our accommodations are exclusively available for dogs, and we regretfully cannot accommodate cats. A nominal fee of $50 per dog per day applies.

Weddings/Special Events:

-Kindly note that weddings, receptions, or any large events held at our properties require prior approval from the host. Hosting such events will incur an event fee. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

1. PET POLICY: Prior approval from management is required for dogs, with a charge of $50 per day per dog. We regretfully cannot accommodate cats due to allergic family members.

2. A security deposit of $1,500 is mandatory. An email will be sent after your booking to collect your information. This deposit serves as a hold, with no funds being withdrawn from your account. The hold is placed one day prior to your arrival and released after your stay if no damages occur and the house rules are followed.

3. A rental agreement must be signed. An email will be sent after your booking to collect your information.

4. Refunds will not be issued for circumstances beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding.

5. While our WiFi is typically fast and reliable, occasional spottiness may occur due to our countryside location.

6. Unauthorized guests, events, or exceeding the occupancy limits are strictly prohibited. No exceptions will be made. Violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction without a refund.

7. For groups exceeding 30 people, there is an additional fee of $25 per person, per night. Although our maximum capacity is 40, these charges account for the extra costs of cleaning, laundering linens/towels, and wear and tear. We appreciate your understanding.

8. Prior approval is required for bringing a camper or tent. Additional fees may apply.

9. Despite our diligent efforts to combat bothersome insects through measures like monthly pest control, regular cleaning, and weekly trash services, be aware that when booking a home in nature you may encounter certain pests beyond our control. The presence of fruit flies, gnats, May flies, horse flies, mosquitoes, bats, mice, and other such creatures does not reflect on the cleanliness of our home. Despite our best endeavors, these small pests may occasionally appear.

10. Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Our kids loved the play room and game room! They also had supplies for our kids so we didn’t have to haul it from home (high chairs, pack n play, etc.).
