The house is just a 12min drive from the Louisburg Cider Mill & Farm, which is where my boyfriend PROPOSED under the most beautiful sunset! We also picked apples at the Louisburg orchard, just 30min from the house, and drove up to Kansas City for BBQ just 45min away. So, the location was perfect! We stayed in “Betty’s Attic” that had so many different lovely nooks and seating areas, a couple of TVs, a small fridge (with butter for the fresh bread that they left in our room), and the BATHROOM with claw foot tub was amazing! We will absolutely be back for future anniversaries! <3"

Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Primary bedroom is located on the main level and has a door to the deck. It has a king size bed and small work station perfect for a laptop. There is direct access to the laundry room and bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom is in the loft so there is not a door for privacy. It has a queen size bed, makeup table (which could also be a laptop workspace), and a private bathroom with a tub/shower. The third bedroom is located in the finished lower level. It has a queen size bed, Play Station 5, direct access to the patio, and a full bathroom with a shower. None of the bedrooms have room darkening shades - just blinds. There is a lot of natural light throughout this house, and the sunrise is bright! If you plan to sleep in, we recommend bringing a sleep mask.

- "I run ultramarathons in Osawatomie Ks and would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the surrounding areas. The apartment was very cozy and welcoming. The hosts had left enough gifts to make your stay pleasant (ie., the snack baskets, toiletries, and incidental needs were met). Even without full cooking areas the host provided easy solutions for quick meals. May wife and I cook with the hot plate burner provided and used the fully equipped BBQ grill to make our after race celebration meal (a 3lb Porterhouse). We loved the alpacas and the prairie view on the patio seating area. We went to bed to early to enjoy the fire pit provided but hope to on our next visit. Check in was easy and loved interacting with the property owners. Wish we could have asked more questions about their lovely farm."

Had troubles not receiving a gate code but the front office hooked me up just before David was able to respond to my text. - "Excellent! We had 2 people in each room which was perfect." - "The cabin is very nice. Very clean and modern. They even had coffee as we forgot to bring our own. My ONLY complaint is it looks like they built this cabin quickly, then piled up all of the construction debris next to it. I’m not so concerned for us, but it’s a pretty unneighborly thing to do. I know if I owned one of the surrounding lake lots at Linn valley lakes, I would be very upset having a vrbo cabin get thrown up and all the crap left there to rot. You guys need a clean up crew out there to not just haul that off but get the dead limbs etc. Outside of that the process and cabin was great. It is a two apartment unit, so I don’t think we would have enjoyed having them book another group at the same time as ours. Fortunately it was just us and the other unit was empty. Thanks!"

Enjoy your own private cozy and clean, safe apartment. It includes all basic amenities such as a kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, a dining table w/ chairs, a queen size bed, bathroom w/ shower, and a TV with cable. For those who like to sleep w/ ambient noise, we provide a white noise machine. There is a large parking lot, and the building is single story, so no steps to go up, and just a few steps from your vehicle to your door. Easy access to 68 Hwy and 169 Hwy. We are also pet friendly!

The space
The property was originally built and functioned as a motel. Rooms were then renovated and turned into individual apartments. This particular apartment is a studio room with a queen-size bed, dining area, kitchenette, closet, and bathroom with a shower. There is a door that leads to the next room, but it is locked on both sides. The parking area and front door entrance has good lighting. The distance from where you park to where you stay is just a few feet away, and there are no stairs to go up, so it is very accessible. If you have things that need washed, there is a laundromat just a couple blocks away. If you are wanting somewhere to dine, there are several nearby restaurants, including a really good Mexican restaurant across the street.

Guest access
There is a large parking area, so there should be no issues for vehicles to get in or out. The parking lot itself is gravel, but the street is paved, and there is a paved sidewalk that runs the entire length of the building.

Enjoy your own private cozy and clean, safe apartment. It includes all basic amenities such as a kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, a dining table w/ chairs, a queen size bed, bathroom w/ shower, and a TV with cable. For those who like to sleep w/ ambient noise, we provide a white noise machine. There is a large parking lot, and the building is single story, so no steps to go up, and just a few steps from your vehicle to your door. Easy access to 68 Hwy and 169 Hwy. We are also pet friendly!

The space
The property was originally built and functioned as a motel. Rooms were then renovated and turned into individual apartments. This particular apartment is a studio room with a queen-size bed, dining area, kitchenette, closet, and bathroom with a shower. There is a door that leads to the next room, but it is locked on both sides. The parking area and front door entrance has good lighting. The distance from where you park to where you stay is just a few feet away, and there are no stairs to go up, so it is very accessible. If you have things that need washed, there is a laundromat just a couple blocks away. If you are wanting somewhere to dine, there are several nearby restaurants, including a really good Mexican restaurant across the street.

Guest access
There is a large parking area, so there should be no issues for vehicles to get in or out. The parking lot itself is gravel, but the street is paved, and there is a paved sidewalk that runs the entire length of the building.

Please be aware that during colder months, ice may form on stairs, walkways, and other outdoor areas of the property. While we take steps to ensure guest safety by providing tools like salt or sand for de-icing, weather conditions can change rapidly.

Guests are advised to exercise caution when navigating outdoor spaces, especially in freezing temperatures. Use handrails where available and watch for potentially slippery areas.

We do not allow any personal mail &/or package deliveries of any kind, no exceptions.

~We provide initial supplies to get you started. For the duration of your stay, you'll need to purchase any additional supplies you require.
~Do not disrespect Neighbors.
~Please follow check-in and check-out instructions.
~Do not wash dishes in the bathroom sink.
~Do not remove makeup with white towels in the unit. There are dark towels in the bathroom cabinet under the sink for this.
~Do not burn candles, incense, or any other open flames. Doing so will result to a $500 fine)
~Lock the door AT ALL TIMES. We want you and your things to be safe.
~No smoking, vaping, or use of marijuana at anytime anywhere on the property. Smoking of any kind will result in an additional charge (listed below).
~No parties, events, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette stays, get-togethers, hangouts and the like.
~Do not have more guests (regardless of age) than stated in your reservation and we do not allow visitors. Any overnight guests not on the reservation will be considered an additional guest for the reservation and will result in an additional guest fee (listed below).
~No loud music or disturbances, especially noise past 10pm.
~All Guests are expected to clean up after themselves prior to departure: If you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, fix it; if you use it, take care of it; if you make a mess, clean it up; if you move it, put it back.
~All Guests are expected to wash their own dishes prior to departure.
~We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. We cannot be responsible for any items left behind. Shipping items that have been left behind will result in an additional handling charge (listed below). Items may be donated or disposed of at our discretion 2 days after your scheduled departure.

Building Office Access: Please note that the building office reserves the right to enter the premises during your stay for scheduled maintenance or in case of emergency situations beyond the host's control. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in such circumstances.

★FEES: A $50 handling fee must be paid prior to any request for our staff to return a lost item left in the unit.
★FEES: Lost TV remote control will result in a $25 charge.
★FEES: Unapproved Late Check Out fees: $75 for every 30 minutes past check-out.
★FEES: Smoking of any kind will result in a $250 deodorization fee.
★FEES: Undeclared/Unauthorized guests $100 fine per guest.
★FEES: Party/Noise in the listing $250 fine.
★FEES: Unauthorized Pets will result in an additional $250 charge per pet.
★FEES: Tampering of any kind to the security systems, smoke detectors, noise monitoring device, exterior cameras or any other permanent electronic device in the effort to disable, damage, unplug or degrade the use of these systems will result in an immediate $250 charge.

★ Pets must be approved prior to booking. Dogs allowed. NO CATS, BIRDS, HAMSTERS, MICE, OR ANY OTHER PETS.
★ Pets must be added to the reservation and pet fee is requested after booking.
★ Pet fee must be paid prior to check in.
★ Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture at anytime during stay.
★ Pets must be current on their shots and flea and tick treatments.
★ Pets must be taken out to do their business and not go inside the home or patio. You MUST pick up after your pet. Disposable bags are provided on the back deck and must be discarded in the exterior trash on the side of the house.
★ Pet cannot mark indoors.
★ Pet cannot be washed or showered in tubs or sinks.
★ Pets cannot be left unattended.

★FEES: Pet fee is $25 per pet/per night.
★FEES: Unauthorized Pets will result in an additional $250 charge per pet on top of the pet fee.
★FEES: Pet urinating inside will result in a $100 floor disinfecting charge.
★FEES: Pet showered in tubs or sinks will result in a $200 charge.
★FEES: Pet hairs found on sheets or furniture will result in a $60 charge.
★FEES: Any evidence of flea or tick infestation will result in an additional $500 cleaning fee.

★ In the event that this account is referred to a collection agency, guests agree to pay any collection fees incurred by (OwlStays Services LLC or OwlStays LLC) in addition but not limited to any attorneys fees or costs of collections.
