- "This cabin was a great place to stay! It is centrally located so we were able to enjoy Keeneland, the Bourbon Trail, Horse Farms plus trips to Danville, Shaker Village and downtown Harrodsburg. We walked to the top of the hill with our coffee every morning to enjoy the sunrise and gorgeous view. That's how to start a day! The cabin has everything you need, is very comfortable and clean! If I had one "complaint", it would be that Cabin #9 needs ovenware but we only ate in once, so it didn't really affect us badly. We will definitely stay here again when we return next April for Keeneland's Spring Meet . . . we highly recommend these cabins!!"

The house is professionally cleaned after every single guest, but please keep in mind that this is a lake house on the outside. All used linens, duvet covers, Pillow cases, shams, blankets and towels are washed every guest.

Newly remodeled lower level of farmhouse that is a two bedroom, 1150 sq ft suite with kitchenette and den on a farm close to everything. 25 minutes to Keeneland, Centre College, Four Roses, and Wild Turkey Distilleries.
You can hike, camp, fish, ride horses, sightsee or just relax. The barn is available for larger get togethers.
Having gotten to travel a good deal ourselves, we thought we would enjoy having others enjoy our little bit of heaven.

We went on a sunset river boat cruise in Newport as well as the aquarium. We went to Kentucky down under to pet kangaroos and explore a cave. We went to Dinosaur world, a waterpark and the shaker village. I found some amazing bourbon to bring home to my father from 4 roses distillery. This home was a perfect location to reach all of these family hot spots. The beds were cozy, the AC was perfect. The house was very clean. Our kids had plenty of space to relax and play. The yard is huge and my husband even caught a bass out of the river on the property. We would definitely return again. - "Incredible accommodations! They thought of everything you might need and more! We spent 5 days and 4 nights here and had an amazing time. This place is awesome from the hobbit holes built into the countryside, the huge hot tub, sauna, fire pit with swings, charcoal grill, rocking chairs on the porch, garden, fresh eggs from the resident chickens, board games and outdoor movie theatre, this place had it all and then some! If you are looking for a great place to stay with a D&D/LOTR flair, you will not be disappointed. Great for couples or families. The owners are local so they were available if anything was needed and went well above and beyond to accommodate any request we had. It is a short drive from Bardstown KY (Bourbon capitol of the world) and is a perfect base area for bourbon trail trips - Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Bardstown Bourbon and many more all a short drive away.
