Dolphin Watch features 4 bedrooms with a master and jr. master bedroom suite, each with its own private bath. There are two more lovely bedrooms and a full bath with tub on the lower level. The sun-drenched living room opens to a large deck through a wall of sliders and features an open ceiling, hardwood floors and a gas fireplace. The gourmet kitchen offers a large center island, granite countertops, and a full compliment of stainless steel upgraded appliances. A large dining room table seats eight comfortably for fine or casual dining and is accented by a beautiful bronze chandelier. The den with french doors provides a great space for kids or second living area, and opens to a large covered deck. It’s a perfect house for a vacation, 1 short block from the beach and the best restaurants in Long Beach Island. You can enjoy dining in a sunny bright deck and yard or in the bright living room with your family and friends on a 10 seat wood dining table. The kitchen is fully furnished and modern, and there is a barbecue outdoors for summer nights. There is plenty of natural light in the living room and bedrooms enhanced by the soaring cathedral ceilings. Common areas are spacious as well as the bedrooms. Laundry room with new washer and dryer. The kitchen is furnished with two door fridge, new oven and stove, and dishwasher. Air conditioning in all bedrooms and common areas. Please note that linen service is not included with this rental. This is pretty standard for the island, since cleaning services cannot do laundry within the tight check-in and check-out windows. At 77th West street in Harvey Cedars, the island is just two blocks wide, making the ocean and the bay very close. 'Downtown' Harvey Cedars is just 4 blocks away for ice cream, groceries or a cheese steak at Neptunes.

We think our home is an ideal rental for a couple, or families with children. Every room has a ceiling fan and central AC is available.

On the main floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bath. (The owner lives in a separate apartment upstairs.) One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has twin beds. The main living room/dining and kitchen are all open and connected.

There are porches and decks both in front and in back.

This is a beautiful well maintained home. This home has a custom audio system throughout the house. From top to bottom this house has it all including a large kitchen with granite counter tops and a large center island counter that opens up to a roomy dining room and living room.
There is a seven day minimum rental Saturday to Saturday during peak season.

Off the dining room are sliding glass doors that lead out onto the deck with new outdoor furniture and a natural gas grill. Beautiful tile bathrooms with a corner shower in the master bath and glass sliders in master bedroom which lead to private deck. This house has a laundry room with washer and dryer on the same floor. New home completed in June 2018 and built with a lot of love and care. We plan to use it for most of the year for ourselves but have it listed here to share with some small families for a few weeks, WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF IT LIKE THEIR OWN. We don't permit ANY SMOKING OR PETS, so please DO NOT ask. In as much as we would like, we are not in a position to change our rental rates.

We offer it for rent for a handful of weeks in July and August to selected families. Effective 2020 we have moved to a FRIDAY TO FRIDAY rental. This will make it easier to get to and leave the island. Also, gives you a full weekend when you come.

DESCRIPTION: Spectacular Views, Central Air, Wifi, Elevator, Hot Tub, Speakers on all decks, 3 decks including a rooftop deck, upscale appliances, indoor and outdoor furniture.

It is a 6 bedroom, 4 full bath and 2 half bath single family home. 3 bedrooms are master suites, all with attached baths and amazing oceanfront views. One of those 3 is the master bedroom on the top floor. The other 2 are on the first floor. There will be 3 additional bedrooms. Two of them have 2 pairs of bunk beds and one has two twin beds. The house will be able to sleep 16. Ideally suited for small families. There are decks on each floor with spectacular views of the ocean in addition to a roof deck with amazing ocean and bay views.

Home is reverse living with a large kitchen and a great room on the top floor and the master bedroom. There will be an elevator, 2 car garage, a gas grill and a fireplace.

We have two wet bars, one in the great room on the second floor and one in the family room on the first floor.

We have a Sonos audio system with speakers on all decks including the roof top deck, great room and the family room. The TV in the living room is a 65" TV with surround sound and attached Apple TV. Each bedroom has it's own TV with Comcast and Netflix. There is high speed internet access with 3 wifi access points in different locations in the house to give good coverage.

There are spectacular views of the ocean, perfectly centered on the beach, has direct beach access, 20 feet away. The lifeguard stand is located directly in front of the house so it's great for parents/kids. It is located on a private drive so kids can easily walk back and forth to beach for food, bathroom, etc. A super bay front park/playground is just 2 blocks away, includes tennis, basketball, playground equipment, baseball field, crabbing dock, fishing pier, exercise course, horseshoes, volleyball court and great sunsets for all.

Harvey Cedars marina is across the road. Enjoy kayak rentals at the marina. Causeway Boat rental is a short drive away where you can rent boats.

It is a great location for families with children as we are on a private street and there is no through traffic. There is parking for 4 cars on a brand new paved driveway.

Relax on the deck with a drink and your loved ones while watching the ocean and enjoying the sounds of the waves.

I've rented many, many homes over the years in LBI and this house is definitely in the top 1% of available home rentals in terms of both location and quality. The home's oceanfront location is spectacular and the windows take advantage of the beautiful views. There is also a lifeguarded beach right over the dunes and it is a short walk to Bayview Park which has free concerts and other events. The house itself is updated, very clean and has a very spacious layout which makes it great for extended family gatherings. One note for future renters is that the VRBO site lists the main master as a Queen size bed. I'm pretty sure it is a king, so plan your bedding accordingly! It is located Oceanside and has amazing PRIVATE deck space (Yes an expansive roof top deck with glass rails overlooking the town just for you!) and a private yard. Brand New Bayfront Estate with 4000+ sq feet is located on a truly special piece of property where the island curves providing unsurpassed, panoramic,water and sunset views from every room. There are 4 Master suites (1 King Size Bedroom, 3 Queen Size Bedroom) outfitted with the W Hotel Heavenly Beds, designer furniture, and flat screen tv's. Each suite has a deck, and its own bathroom with custom vanities and stonework. There are 2 additional bedrooms with a Jack/Jill connecting bathroom. On the main level is the chef's kitchen, which opens up to the dining room and great room with a wall off glass, and an attached screened in porch all overlooking the water. Directly outside the back of the home is the pooldeck....and beyond that is a private bay beach. The bay is very calm and is perfect for longer swims and water activities. This house also has 2 kayaks that we leave as a courtesy.

Sunset park is also a 1 minute walk out the front door. Here you will find a jungle gym, walking/bike trail, basketball court, baseball field, all overlooking the water. This house is on the most narrow part of northern LBI, making it a 2 minute walk to the beach. There is a lighted intersection which makes crossing the street easy. There is also a lifeguard on duty from 9am-5pm on the beach.

Our sun-drenched home is tastefully furnished and has wall-to-wall windows facing the water. A four bedroom/four bathroom house that sleeps up to 10 people. Open kitchen featuring a Viking gas stove, wine refrigerator and Nespresso machine stocked with pods. The expansive living area has a 55in flat screen TV & Sonos music and leads to the relaxing patio overlooking the bay. The sunny dining room with large rustic table has a wall of windows to enjoy your meals with a spectacular view. There is a second refrigerator in the garage to store beverages and overflow groceries.

Three bedrooms offer a private balcony and the master includes an extra sitting room. The master and junior master bedrooms feature en suite bathrooms and the quadruple bunk and queen bed room share a bathroom. The junior master bathroom and first floor powder room will be newly renovated by summer 2024 (stay tuned for pics).

With a private dock and direct access to the bay, there are endless ideas for fun activities including swimming, fishing, paddleboard, kayak and the chance to catch crabs from the dock. A pair of SUP and a kayak are available for your use. Watch your kids enjoy it all on the L-shaped outdoor couch on the back deck! Dine al fresco at the teak table that seats 8 later in the day. The beach is only a 5min walk (0.2 miles) with a traffic light to cross the boulevard and you can drop in at Agnello's Market on the way for a drink, snack or lunch. The living room, kitchen and 4 of 6 bedrooms have spectacular panoramic views of the bay that will make you feel like you're in the middle of the water. You can enjoy sunset waterfront views directly on an elevated wood deck which wraps around the entire back of the house, or on the lower deck that has 90 feet of direct bay access, which is great for fishing, crabbing, swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding. The bay is especially easy to access for kayaking and paddle boarding by using a large floating dock that can be lowered into the bay. It's also great to sit on or jump off of while it's in the bay.

Stand up paddle board (2), kayaks (6 available which can seat 8 ppl) and beach chairs are available in the house.

Renovations: The kitchen was fully renovated in 2021. New hardwood floors downstairs and carpet upstairs were put in 2021. New custom closets were installed late 2021 and all bathrooms were fully renovated April 2022. A floating dock was installed Nov'20. The house was painted 2022.

Most frequent questions we get:
1. How close we are to the beach? You only have to cross one road. With two toddlers and a double stroller we manage it with a 8 minute walk. I expect most could do it faster. We have a beach buggy to help bring beach gear.
2. Can you can tie up a boat? While we are directly on the bay and have boat cleats that will allow you to tie a boat either to the dock or floating dock, we do not have a boat lift, which unfortunately is required to keep a boat safely overnight directly on the bay to avoid damage (water is too choppy directly on the bay)... so possible to park the boat there for day rentals and to get on and off, but a boat cannot be kept overnight or even during the day if the bay is very choppy.
3. Is there a place to eat outside? We have a lot of seating (outdoor dining table that seats 12, 7 adirondack chairs, love seats and rocker chairs) and bar table.

Cancellation policy:
For 2023: VRBO doesn't allow much flexibility on the site for cancellation so we have indicated a no refund policy, however, we will honor the following cancellation policy as outlined in the short-term lease agreement which we require tenants to sign:
1. If you cancel more than 90 days prior to lease term, forfeit 12.5% of total rental amount.
2. If you cancel more than 45 days but less than 90 days before the lease term, forfeit 25% of total rental amount.
3. If cancel within 45 days prior to the lease term, full amount forfeited.

We rent our Beach House as a single family unit, but actually it is more than suitable for extended or a multi-generational family.

For our guests safety & security we have four cameras mounted outside the house facing the access to the property from multiple directions, in addition there is a doorbell camera mounted outside the front door.

The house is within a 3-4 min walk to the Beach - 350 yards - see gmap in photos, Bay view (see photos) and steps only from the Bay and from the Harvey Cedars Marina, the HC Bible Conference, the Harvest Cove and the Bay are all a just a short walk from our house.

There’s no car traffic or road noise at all while relaxing at our house. In fact, many people take advantage of our neighborhood with it’s wide and quiet streets for a nice morning walk or an afternoon family bike ride.

Really comfortable beds too! Peter is an extremely helpful and communicative host and was willing to do everything he could to make our stay easy and enjoyable. - "There is adequate on property parking for 4 vehicles, plus you can park on the street. Space in garage to store toys you bring (we brought kayaks and bikes). The living space is all on one level, with an open kitchen/dining/living room (we love it!). Three decks… just note that you can hear the person(s) walking on the upper decks above the master bedroom. Landlord was excellent at communication and checked in to ensure all was good. Just note that you are adjacent to the only and very busy road that runs up and down the island. So when you are on the decks,/outside there is constant road noise. The views are unaffected. House is well supplied with pots, pans and plates should you need them. Bay access for boating/swimming is about 3/10th of a mile walk. Ocean is about 4/10th of a mile walk (I am estimating… but in other words, short walks!). Beach was spacious and quiet during a very busy week. A big plus for Harvey Cedars is that you get way less people on the beaches so you can spread out and “own” all the space and beach views you want."

2nd floor duplex on the ocean block Harvey Cedars Roof top deck has nice water views. Very close to beach and short walk into town for ice cream. Bay beach is also on 75th St so is very convenient.

The grill is not shared, the grill marked Unit 2 is only for the second floor guest. There are 3 decks available to the 2nd floor tenants: front deck, back 2nd floor deck and the third floor bayside deck are only accessible to the 2nd floor guest.
