They even still use real keys and have cubby holes for all the keys. But when we walked into the room it was vey nice. The carpet looked new, new paint. The bathroom was very clean. ***Sorry for this not so fun stuff, but we are asked almost daily so to save you some time. We can only do Saturday-Saturday rental as per our permit and association. No exceptions. You may rent the week and leave early if need be but we cannot reduce the week and risk losing our rental permit. NO PETS, and NO SMOKING on premises, no exceptions due to severe allergies. The unit is on the third floor with elevator and two staircases to access unit. It has an outside entrance and the railings are low, grandfathered in from the 70s, must be very cautious with children on walkways and balconies especially if you have a climber. Thank you for your understanding. Now on to the fun!

Unpack and relax, our condo has been freshly painted, and two brand new full baths installed. We made updates galore with brand new kitchen appliances, furniture, bedding, carpets, lighting and Televisions.

Master with King bed, brand new Serta Sleeper mattress with topper, two nightstands with USB ports - lay in bed and look at/listen to the ocean through the slider to the balcony. Brand new built-in closet organizers in both rooms.

Sitting chair and ottoman, perfect for reading with a wonderful view of the bay sunsets, large closet, wifi, large mounted flat screen TV/cable.

Office space desk and chair with lamp to work from the beach - if you REALLY have to work you may as well do it with a Ocean breeze:-)

Second bedroom has new twin over full bunk and a daybed, brand new mattresses, each bed in this room has a side view of the ocean, and has large closet with built in organizers, flat screen mounted TV/cable, wifi access.

Kitchen is fully stocked (we like to cook, so we made sure you have everything needed at hand from stock pots to utensils). Don’t like to Cook? No worries, walk right across the street to Chef Mikes, an amazing waterfront bar/restaurant for great food and sand pails filled with rum punch instead of sand ;-)! There are four other restaurants within a two block walk.. ice cream and bakery too! Bring a bag of ice as fridge is not hooked up for water and ice.

Brand NEW, stainless large double door fridge, stove, dishwasher and drink/Wine Fridge stocked with water for you, freshly painted cabinets, new backsplash tile, new lighting and all the dishes, glasses, serving platters, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, everything you could need to make a great meal. We plan to do full kitchen reno next year to add new cabinets and a breakfast bar for extra seating.

Living room/dining has TV/cable, wifi, netflix access (bring your passwords), sliders to balcony with double lounger sofa with amazing ocean views from each spot, seats five comfortably, two comfy side chairs, games, cozy blankets and pillows which will be sanitized between guests. Dining area has table for six and the original 70s antique ships wheel chandelier, for old time character.

Step out onto the balcony and you won’t want to ever go home! Full view from Ocean to Bay and the entire length of the 13 mile state park! The pictures don’t do it justice! New outdoor carpets, Four rockers with cushions and two tables make for the best place for evening cocktails to watch the sun set. 2 Hightop Adirondacks are perfect for your morning coffee. We regularly spot dolphins, whales and seals in the ocean as well as birds and fox in the dunes.

Main bath completely renovated tub/shower with glass frameless doors, vanity, glass tile, toilet, wood look tile floor, all brand new this year.

Comfy, cozy bedding: duvets, sheets, pillows all brand new and will be professionally sanitized/cleaned between each use, each brand new mattress and pillow has allergy/dust/bed bug cover protectors for your health and safety, please do not remove these protective covers. The linens will be delivered from the professional cleaners before you arrive and the cleaning staff makes up the beds up for you so you may just enjoy your vacation no lugging in bedding or making beds while you’re on vacation. Before you leave we ask that you put all of the bed linens, bath towels, duvet covers, kitchen towels and bath mats in the provided laundry bags and set by front door by 10am for laundry service pick up.

Brand new berber carpet just installed through-out Condo. We ask that you please ‘flip your flops’ at the front door to keep it spotless for little ones who may be crawling on the floors.

We have our own private beach in front of the condo (only shared with the owners of our building - no lifeguard). There is an outdoor shower right by our beach entrance to rinse off after the beach, hose for feet as well. We also have a 4 foot, salt water pool, surrounded by decking with ladder entry, open the 90 days of summer, no lifeguard. The pool is maintained by pool service to always be fresh and sparkling for a dip. You also have access to the public beach entrance right next door (in front of Chef Mikes) if you prefer a lifeguarded beach (6 passes included in stay). Must return all six upon departure or there will be a $500 charge for each lost pass.

One parking space in our private lot and one street parking pass will be provided. Must return parking pass upon departure, failure to return parking will incur a $500 fee as they take weeks to replace and other guests will be without.

WHAT TO DO?
If you have never been to South Seaside Park, you are in for a treat! Not to be mistaken for Seaside Heights, which is a fun party town on the boardwalk, South Seaside Park is a peaceful, quiet retreat, especially in our spot where your view stretches for miles! We are close enough to the action if you would like to enjoy it. We are about a mile from the boardwalk rides at Seaside easy to walk the beach, bike or drive and enjoy the boardwalk fries and Kohrs ice cream. Or park your car in your private spot at our condo and don’t move it at all during your stay because everything you need is within walking distance.

You can rent bikes a few blocks away, ride to lunch or into the state park, fish on the bayside pier ( the state Marina is right at the end of our block) you have Ocean on our end and bay on the other end, walk the ocean beach all the way down to the end of island beach state park to see the lighthouse (so beautiful in the morning when no one is there), rent a boat or wave-runner for the day, go to the Seaside boardwalk and enjoys rides and games, rent a scooter and explore the island, check out Mike’s Restaurant across the street for great cocktails and dinner with an ocean view (live music on weekends). We have a storage room off the lobby to store your bikes, or there is a bike rack across the street.

If seafood is your thing, walk a block to Bum Roger’s for crabs and lobster or right next door there is Berkley Steakhouse and across the street Alfresco’s for an Italian bite or step back in time and have a great breakfast or lunch at the counter at Betty and Nick’s luncheonette. Go to the shops in Lavallette (there is a great coffee shop Lava Java and many restaurants to chose from, we like Channel Marker to sit right out on the bay, it’s BYOB). Park Bakery is AMAZING, there is a line in the morning, but it’s worth it! Try their donuts or coffee cake! OR just sit back relax and enjoy that view from our beach or deck, we have provided plenty of menus for delivery, Target delivers as well. You won’t find a better view anyplace on the island - all you will hear is the crashing of the waves and a seagull or two.

The entrance to Island Beach State Park is about six houses away. You can bike the park, bring a kayak to the State Park Marina Boat launch, or if you have an Island Beach State Park Mobile Sport Fishing Permit, you may enter there to drive your vehicle onto the beach for the best fishing in New Jersey. There is a great little restaurant in the park as well. Many people bike the park and enjoy the day there.

If you prefer fishing on the bay, take a walk to the end of our block to the dock. There is a small weekly farmers market on our corner, check them out for fresh produce and seafood. There is a larger farmers market and movie nights at the Marina by J Steet.

Our cottage is a townhouse style dwelling, which includes 2 bedrooms:

This provides for a comfortable stay for 4 persons (with a maximum of 6).

It is equipped with a washer and dryer, kitchen with granite counter tops, microwave, stainless steel appliances, full sized refrigerator, and an eating area for six (6), plus a living room and desk.

Bed linens, towels and beach chairs are not provided and should be brought by the guests.
In case this is a significant issue, kindly contact the host for alternate arrangements.

The unit has a large common front deck area (shared with 1 other unit). Within the deck there is a designated area specifically for the cottage. There is a shared Weber BBQ on right side of the structure and a shared open rinsing area (to remove sand) on the left side of the structure. On the deck itself, there is a private outdoor eating area for 4-6 persons, as well as two (2) Adirondack chairs (perfect for watching the sunsets). These amenities are specifically for the guests of the White Sands Beach Cottage.

The property is approximately 1,000 sq. feet and is ideal for a single family with 4-6 members, or a couple looking for ample space.

While the property does have multiple sleeping spaces, we limit the maximum capacity to six (6) persons at all times. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible, and this capacity is designed with that in mind.

Parking for two (2) vehicles is designated in front of the property; one vehicle behind the other. If you have more than two vehicles, they must be parked elsewhere.
We offer a shared 50 Amp / 240V / 14-50 Heavy-Duty Receptacle for Level 2 EV Charging.
[Note: You will need your own Portable Level 2 charger to plug in to the receptacle.]

We are only hosting families and adult couples, and will not accept any prom, graduation, event groups, or third-party / absentee bookings. Therefore, the person booking the property must be 25 or older and must at the premises during the entire rental period. Failure to comply to these rules will result in an immediate cancellation of the booking, with no refund, and the guest must vacate the property immediately. Police assistance will be used as necessary. All house rules are clearly stipulated prior to booking.

Lastly, since the house was recently updated, we have undergone a detailed home inspection, which means you can sleep with confidence knowing our property has passed rigorous inspections, meeting all city and state guidelines.

Per Seaside Ordinance #179 & 55-3, the primary guest must be at least 25 years old and staying on-site during the rental period. We kindly ask that the names, ages, and addresses of all guests be shared prior to check-in. For groups including guests under 21, the Borough of Seaside Park requires signed consent forms from a parent or guardian.

To maintain a quiet and respectful environment, outside visitors are not permitted. Groups made up entirely of guests under 21, or those exceeding the number of registered guests, may be unable to check in.

Subleasing & Third-Party Bookings
For safety and consistency, reservations must be made by someone staying at the property. Subleasing or transferring a booking to another party is not permitted.

No Parties or Loud Gatherings

The open-living concept creates a great space for bringing dining and living room relaxing together. The living room has a smart TV with access to Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, etc via guest account. The desk area provides a designated space to be able to utilize Wifi and work from home if needed. We truly hope that during your stay you can de-stress and disconnect.
**Please note, bed sheets, bathroom towels, and beach towels are not provided. The host will provide local linen resources or guests are encouraged to bring their own.**

Enjoy our private fenced in yard with an outdoor shower, bbq for grilling, and a propane fire column to sit near and unwind. A propane tank is provided, but filling is the guests responsibility when needed.

Our home has two exits with a keypad entry for self check-in and easy accessibility during your stay. There is also an outdoor security camera.

Our home is conveniently located to multiple beach locations-White Sand Beach, Midway Beach, Seaside Park Beach, and Island Beach State Park. Walking distance to local restaurants and a short drive to the boardwalk. After a fun filled day, you can catch some amazing sunsets over the bay.

Our home provides a comfortable stay for a maximum of 6 people. While our home provides multiple sleeping options, we prefer to limit the maximum capacity to six (6) guests to allow for the most comfortable stay. As this is a family home, it is ideally designed for a single family with 4-6 members, 2 families with 1-2 children, couples or friends looking to maximize the space. We will not accept any prom or graduation groups. The primary renter must be attending during the entire stay. All house rules are clearly stipulated prior to booking.

Our goal is to make your stay memorable, enjoyable, and as comfortable as possible! As this is our family home, we only rent during the times we aren't occupying it. With that being said, if you're looking for a party atmosphere, a hangout spot, or for multiple people to drop in and out, our home is not the best option for you. An adorable and comfy two bedroom ranch on a canal with access to open bay. You can come by boat and dock it right to the cutest outdoor living space, Jacuzzi is included. Bring your own water toys kayak etc.Walk inside to an open inviting space full of sunshine. This cozy newly renovated happy little getaway place easily sleeps 6. WiFi ready. Take a bike ride through this family friendly neighborhood of Bayville, to the little semi private Butler’s beach and John C Bartlett park at Berkeley Island. Seaside Heights is a 20 minute car ride away. This house is for families of six only and absolutely no parties what so ever . This is a family neighborhood.

Pirate’s Cove Condo includes 2 bedrooms with plenty of sleeping space, a tidy bathroom, eat-in-kitchen, and private outdoor space. Great WiFi and a designated work-from-home space means you can vacation but stay connected…if you want! And if you’re on a true vacation, use our smart TVs to stream your favorite shows. Don’t overpack! The unit includes laundry facility with detergent, simple games and toys for kids, a pack n play for infants and toddlers, and linens/towels. Linens and towels must be requested 2 weeks in advance for an additional $75 fee. Arrive and relax, with your own covered patio that’s gated. It’s a great place to mix a cocktail with friends or kick back and watch your kids play in a safe space. It’s centrally-located; car not needed! Walk or bike to restaurants, the beach, boardwalk, shops, and markets. Pirate’s Cove Condo is only a 4-minute walk to the beach or bay. You’ll have access to the full unit, including a private outdoor space that is both covered and uncovered. From June 1 through September 1 we are only able to accommodate Saturday check-ins at a 7-night minimum. For those familiar with Seaside Park, this is a fairly standard summer booking procedure. The cottage opened in 2023, and is fully updated and designed with comfort and efficiency in mind. We welcome you to come experience a vacation stay at the "SSP Cottage"; the location is simply a gem!

Our property is steps away from both White Sands Beach and Barnegat Bay (1 block from each), which puts you in close proximity to the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We are walking distance to some of the best local restaurants, offering a wide pallet of culinary options and live entertainment, such as: Chef Mike’s Atlantic Bar and Grill, Bum Rogers, Berkley Cut, Island Beach Fish Company, Ebby’s, and Jerry’s Pizza and Subs. Our guests literally can arrive, park their car, and never move it again during their entire stay!

Want a little more to do? We are also walking distance to the Seaside Park boardwalk, which connects to the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. The boardwalks continue for miles, and provide access to mini golf, water parks, arcades, and rides; as well as a wide variety of restaurants and nightlife.

We have plenty of local aquatic attractions (i.e. boating, sailing, wind surfing, parasailing, jet skiing, kayaking, crabbing, and fishing). One cannot forget to mention the very desirable Island Beach State Park. It is only 2 blocks away and is a 10-mile stretch of pristine beachfront, full of natural wildlife and walking / biking paths, just waiting to be explored. (Bring your own bike or rent one locally.)

Make SSP Cottage your home base and plan some day trips during your stay, (all within 45-90 minute drive), such as: Atlantic City, Point Pleasant Aquarium, Barnegat Bay Lighthouse, Smithville, Cape May, Six Flags Great Adventure, Laurita’s Winery, Lambertville, and New Hope, just to name a few.

Visit other surrounding beach towns for an afternoon stroll, local shopping, boardwalks, or a stop for ice cream, (there are plenty of options within a 5–30-minute drive).

This is a perfect location for anyone who wants to relax in the sun and enjoy a quiet evening in the neighborhood, yet close enough to bustling activities for families and adults looking for a more active vacation destination.

Our cottage is a townhouse style dwelling, which includes 2 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: King-sized bed
Bedroom 2: Two (2) Full-sized beds
Living Room: Full sleeper pull out couch

This provides for a comfortable stay for 4 persons (with a maximum of 6).

It is equipped with a washer and dryer, kitchen with quartz counter tops, microwave, stainless steel appliances, full sized refrigerator, and an eating area for six (6), plus a living room and desk.

Bed linens, towels and beach chairs are not provided and should be brought by the guests.
In case this is a significant issue, kindly contact the host for alternate arrangements.

The unit has a large, private, and fenced in back yard. There is a Weber BBQ on the deck, an outdoor eating area for 6 persons, a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, an outdoor shower, and a bike rack. These amenities are specifically for the guests of the SSP Cottage.

The property is approximately 1,000 sq. feet and is ideal for a single family with 4-6 members, or a couple looking for ample space.

While the property does have multiple sleeping spaces, we limit the maximum capacity to six (6) persons at all times. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible, and this capacity is designed with that in mind.

Parking for two (2) vehicles is designated in front of the property; one vehicle behind the other. If you have more than two vehicles, they must be parked elsewhere.
We offer a shared 50 Amp / 240V / 14-50 Heavy-Duty Receptacle for Level 2 EV Charging.
[Note: You will need your own Portable Level 2 charger to plug in to the receptacle.]

We are only hosting families and adult couples, and will not accept any prom, graduation, event groups, or third-party / absentee bookings. Therefore, the person booking the property must be 25 or older and must at the premises during the entire rental period. Failure to comply to these rules will result in an immediate cancellation of the booking, with no refund, and the guest must vacate the property immediately. Police assistance will be used as necessary. All house rules are clearly stipulated prior to booking.

Smart Home Features:
We are a "smart home"; we believe in technology and the ease that it can bring to our homes. As such, all TV are smart TV’s (basic cable + local channels are available) and High-Speed Wi-Fi is included. We provide free access to YouTube TV. Access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Hulu, etc is also available, via the guest(s) account.

Each bedroom is equipped with a TV. (There are 3 TVs in total in the cottage.)

The cottage has 2 exits with keypad entry for self-check in and easy access during your stay.

Central Heat and A/C regulate the temperature throughout the home.

We have a smart speaker in the house enabling you to play music.

The furniture purchased for this cottage is stylish, comfortable, and sturdy. It was not intended to be disposable, but rather designed to fit the space and provide function.

Bed frames are sturdy (made of metal), topped with highly rated mattresses and pillows, hoping to bring relaxing and comfortable sleeping nights to our guests.

We offer a fully stocked kitchen with all your cooking tools requirements: dishes, cups, pots, tea kettle, serving platters, eating & cooking utensils, Keurig and drip style coffee machines, toaster, chopper, blender, baking items, waffle maker, etc.

Lastly, since the house was recently updated, we have undergone a detailed home inspection, which means you can sleep with confidence knowing our property has passed rigorous inspections, meeting all city and state guidelines.
