We left my toddlers prize bunny there somehow by mistake and the front desk called us right away and held it for us until we could come grab it. All in all, it was such a nice stay. Yes, some of the furniture is a little out dated, but we were so happy we didnt care one bit! It had absolutely everything that we needed. It was also in a really great location with less than a 10 minute drive to food, the childrens museum and a beach."

Just steps to the ocean, this beautifully appointed beach cottage is one of the few larger units in the village and has been recently updated and decorated. Enjoy the welcoming first floor showcasing a fully-applianced kitchen with new expanded breakfast island seating open to the living area. The dining area includes a new cottage style table and chairs with a sideboard (stocked with games and LL Bean beach towels). A new fully renovated 1/2 bath, and a newly decorated bedroom with a full size bed completes the first floor.
The second floor includes a master bedroom (king size bed) with full-bath, walk in shower, and washer/dryer. A new iron/board, hair dryer, and new LL Bean bath towels are provided for your convenience. Enjoy peek views of the ocean from the master bedroom and open stairway!
Two large brick patios are accessed from the main level. The front patio welcomes you with a new bistro table, chairs and umbrella set, along with additional seating to enjoy the morning sun. A mini cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys and new LLBean beach towels make spending time at the beach delightful! If needed, a ceiling fan in the master bedroom help cool things off, along with a portable fan and portable AC unit located in the master bedroom.

- "Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom cottage with beach access. Provides everything you need from beach gear, chairs and umbrella. Fully stocked kitchen with gas cooktop and outside gas grill. Portable AC units in the bedrooms were awfully helpful during the heat of August. Owners were super communicators from the time we booked to our check-in, stay and checkout. This was our first experience with VRBO and was super impressed. - "This place was perfect for my husband, myself, our 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son. The place was vert clean and very cozy for our family of 4. Almost everything we needed was provided which made packing for this trip easier. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and overall the neighborhood was very quiet. The beach is less than a five minute walk and can be accessed via a set of steps or a shell lined path. The sand was clean, soft, and there were lots of families with kids. The surf is very kid friendly as well. There is not much difference between high tide and low tide. There are some small pebbles on the shore line which can hurt your feet, so if you have weak soles of your feet like me, water shoes would help. The kids had no issues with the pebbles. The ocean was warm for August and we spent most of our vacation at the beach. The location is great, walking and running paths are near by and there is a small marketplace, restaurants, and mini golf within walking distance. The central location also allows for many trips to attractions and shopping all around the Cape. We found the owner was very responsive and had no issues with our stay. We really enjoyed our end of Summer vacation and I would highly recommend this place. Everything was just so easy and comfortable."

The outdoor shower was an every day must. Beach down the street is easy to frolic and lounge at. The spit is just the best for sand fun, sea-life exploration, and family swim time. The only thing to note is that the downstairs bathroom is a powder room, not a full bath. We loved the Maushop Village community and the proximity of this cottage to the beach! The condo was much better in person than the photos suggested. The room with the bunk beds also has a twin bed, which was fabulous! The only complaint I have was the shower curtain. Our quaint cottage is very convenient to a private beach on Nantucket Sound with the seashell beach path ( 1 of 2 beach entrances ) right off our patio. Literally step out of our patio gate and walk approximately 30 seconds down the seashell path and your feet will be stepping on sand. With ocean views from the patio and bedrooms, this 750 sq ft unit is sunny and immaculate. The large patio is equipped with a gas grill and outdoor eating area. You will love this nicely decorated, and clean 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo with all the amenities that you could possibly need while vacationing.

The Master bedroom on the 1st floor has a queen size bed and 2nd bedroom located on the 2nd floor has 2 twin beds. Each floor has it's own full bath and each bedroom has a portable a/c unit. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living area has a full size pull out sofa bed. All linens and towels are included. To make your packing easier, we also supply beach chairs, beach towels, and sand toys!

The Popponesset Marketplace is within walking distance for an evening of fun at the Raw Bar known for it's plentiful lobster roll. Grab your morning coffee at the coffee shop, or visit the other shops for some local shopping flair, ice cream, candy, or smoothies. There is miniature golf to be played or an outdoor summer concert series Thursday through Saturday night all in an intimate setting to enjoy. The village is a safe place for your children to explore or ride their bikes. There are nearby walking paths as well as a place to rent bicycles or kayaks. It truly is the perfect vacation spot. Mashpee Commons is a short drive away with dining, movie theatre, bowling and shops. The Cape Cod Baseball League is at its best one town away in Falmouth, and Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard is only a quick ferry-ride away. It’s a little piece of heaven right here on Cape Cod that we know you will love! Come and make memories to last a lifetime! Very family oriented.

Note, for bookings in May to mid June, there is a possibility of beach replenishment occurring, causing the beach to be closed on weekdays. This should not affect nights and weekends. This is unfortunately beyond our control. The public beach is open and in use. Please inquire if you have any questions.

Upstairs is the second bedroom which features two twin sized beds, an en suite bathroom, a two sunlights, and ocean views from the main window on a sunny day. With a Queen bed and a full-size pull out sofa bed, the condo sleeps 2-4 comfortably. Our cottage is fully furnished with all the amenities you could need for your vacation getaway, including two smart TVs, wireless internet, a new Weber gas grill, beach chairs, a new washer/dryer, and all bed linens and bath towels. Cool off with the portable air conditioning unit, or open the windows and turn on our 3 ceiling fans for a refreshing ocean breeze.

Our kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay - brand new toaster, new microwave, and new dishwasher, an electric range, and a large refrigerator/freezer. Brew the perfect cup of coffee with our Keurig, Nespresso, or French Press, or enjoy a cup of tea with our electric kettle.

Cleaning Fees: In an effort to provide all of our guests with turnover service and refreshed linens we work with a local cleaning service who specializes in short term rentals. Our vendor charges a premium flat fee for this service and we unfortunately are unable to adjust cleaning fees for this rental.

You'll find this cottage to be in pristine condition, with 2 newly renovated full bathrooms with high-end fixtures, a bright and open kitchen, leading to a comfortable family room and dining room. One full shower/tub tiled bath is on the first floor (washer/dryer in closet), along with a bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, skylight and 2 twin beds. Upstairs, you'll find a beautifully tiled shower walk-in shower (uniquely large for Maushop Village) and the master bedroom, complete with a queen bed and "California closet" - perfect to keep you organized in your home away from home!

Our guests often comment on the coastal decor and furnishings of our home and find it to be well-stocked with all you need for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen has great cabinet space, a large granite island, Bausch stainless steel appliances, a convection microwave and an induction stove. Outside, you'll find a Weber gas grill, table and umbrella and extra seating.

Wifi, Google Nest audio, 3 smart t.v.s with cable, no-filter drip coffee pot, Kuerig coffee pot, linens (sheets, towels, blankets), ample appliances and kitchen necessities, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach blankets, and a beach cart are all provided so you can pack light and feel right at home!

These Nantucket-style cottages evoke images of a by-gone era, with white picket fences nestled on the bluffs overlooking the ocean with Martha’s Vineyard in the foreground. With footpaths made of white crushed clamshell, Maushop Village is the only community within the resort with deeded beach rights to our own, privately maintained, sandy beach on Nantucket Sound.

Our sun-drenched home is bright, comfortable, charming and able to comfortably accommodate 4, with a Master queen and two twins in the second bedroom. It is one of the few units with two full baths and an expanded, glassed-in sunroom! The brick patio is equipped with tables & chairs, umbrella for some shade (if you want shade!) and a Weber gas grill.

We are perfectly located at the top of the bluff (with a peek of the ocean), with a 2-minute walk to the private beach, a 5-minute walk to the wonderful Popponesset Marketplace (http://popponessetmarketplace.com) a 5-minute walk to either the famous Popponesset Inn or the outstanding Popponesset Country Club at New Seabury. A ten-minute drive gets you to Mashpee Commons, home to many restaurants, entertainment venues, and wonderful boutique shopping (http://mashpeecommons.com).

Sun and sand, ice cream and miniature golf, an outdoor summer concert series down the walking path, Cape Cod League Baseball at its best one town away, and Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard only a quick ferry-ride away. Public Golf courses are populated all over the Cape, with several within 20 minutes of our cottage. Bring your bikes and ride for miles! The options are endless.

Inside you will find this cottage that was built in the 1950’s is updated with modern kitchen appliances, laundry, new Mitsubishi air conditioners and a smart TV. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and it’s own AC unit, the 2nd bedroom has two twin beds. We have a cleaning service that comes in to clean between rentals and linens and towels are all cleaned professionally by a laundry service.
