The hallways were a bit dark and a long walk to the elevator. The open bathroom with motorized roller may not be ideal for everyone wanting more bathroom privacy but otherwise the room was clean and ample storage & luggage space. They charge for the Nespresso pods in the room which is a bit cheap but there was a bottle of mineral water which we appreciated. We had our engagement photos taken at the waterfront. - "We were very pleased overall with our stay at Acorsonho Apartamentos. Everything was very clean and the property is well looked after. It was too cool when we were there to use the outdoor pool (it wasn't heated) but I really enjoyed the indoor one. It was warm and always very clean. The hotel provides nice, large towels to use at the pool and you can also take these towels off of the property to use at the hot springs or at the beach. This was very handy as we didn't need to bring our own beach towels from home. The beds were very comfortable although in the living room the day bed was not the most comfortable seating for watching TV, reading etc. Also, a lamp would have been helpful in the living room as there was just the ceiling light there which was not bright enough for reading or any activity which needs more direct light. There aren't any facilities onsite for doing your own laundry (just a laundry service which would tend to get quite expensive) and the closest laundromat was in Ponta Delgada. However, the apartment did have a drying rack on the balcony which would be handy if doing any hand washing. All of the staff were wonderful, extremely personable, helpful and very obliging. They couldn't do enough for you. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. "

The breakfast was very good, we enjoyed that there were many local products for breakfast. The mini bar also included local items, including passion fruit soda which was very good and not expensive. The room was very clean. The best part was most certainly using the hot spring tub in the pineapple greenhouse, which we enjoyed as often as we could especially on the cooler rainy evenings. The hotel is located in a quiet area, it is best to have car if you choose to stay here, though we did walk into downtown one night. It was about a 30 minute walk, and the sidewalks are very narrow in some places, though it didn't feel unsafe once we got used to it, as this is the case for most of Ponta Delgada. No complaints! "

Found this place which seemed to be a nice hotel, not only for the modern interior design but also for the possibility to prepare some food for the our excursions. Even if we did have som expectations we were happily surprised. The room was spacious with a separate comfortable sleeping area, a well equipped kitchen and dining area and a bathroom. Hightly recommend." - "This B&B is a hidden gem on the island. Excellent location (downtown) made walking to the harbour effortless. Close to many restaurants and sites. Pedro and Maria (and Trinkish......spelling?)...Pedro's best friend) were great hosts. Could not have asked for anything better. Every morning during breakfast, Pedro would provide my wife and I a detailed (thumbnailed) map of the island by region (N, S, W and E) on places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The B&B is quite cozy. No TV, but who needs one when on vacation. The only item missing was a mini fridge in the room, however, one could use one if needed in the main kitchen. The only sad thing on our stay was flying/leaving the island."

They have this small cozy green house where you can see organic little vegetables that you can freely use. There is small cute swimming pool as well ( it was cold season so we didn’t use it ) ppl r super kind and nice. They clean room every day:) Also you can use laundry for free as well that they already have a detergent and softener! We went there for my boyfriend’s 40th birthday vacation. And they offered a birthday wine and traditional cookies as well! What a sweet gift!!! It was perfect vacation for us. Also close from the airport as well as town!!! It’s 10!!! You can trust me!!! Only thing, I wish they can improve was door knob(bathroom door knob was keep taking off whenever we open the door).
