Everything was brand new and although no assigned parking we never had an issue finding a spot right in front. Plenty of room and large spacious bathrooms. Kitchen is a little short of cooking supplies but we didn’t cook much so that wasn’t an issue. Great communication with host. This 1 bedroom ground floor unit has easy access. There is a 2 bedroom unit above this one that is also available.
The building was built right on the water's edge and has an amazing view of the main channel. This in town location is close to everything. That being said there is a lot to do without leaving the property.
You can rent a pontoon boat right from your dock. If don't want to captain a boat a
tour service will pick you up from the dock and bring you back. If you are considering coming after April 2025 a new restaurant will be open and is just a short walk away.
Since this is a duplex guests should plan for a quite stay. In the common areas there is a hot tub, and outdoor shower, a boat dock and a large fire pit.
We have use guidelines that allow all guests to make sure all guests get a private use of these amenities.
A note to guests we do have a small family of feral cats that live on the property.
This place has had a long history of pets just showing up. We have found the owners of some and found homes for others. ( We have 2 dogs and a Cat at our home that came from there,) Th cats are fixed and a feral cat organization comes by and makes sure they are healthy. We feed them and built them a home. They are mostly shy of people but you will see them around.

Building is a bit rustic and a dated, but had Evelyn you need and comfortable furniture with a great view, lake access abs boat rental on property if desired. Making Waves is over 4900 square feet and offers everything you'd expect in a lakeside vacation rental. Plenty of sleeping space! This property can accommodate a very large family. It is located on 1 acre of landscaped gardens. Everyone will enjoy the pool and floating dock, where you can swim or fish for hours.

The main level features an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen. All rooms are easily accessible from one another. The kitchen is fully stocked for the chef of your party to prep meals for the whole group; in the morning, coffee is readily available from the drip coffee maker or the Keurig. The kitchen offers an eat-in area with a table for four and counter seats for three. The living room has a cozy sectional to enjoy views of the deck or watch a show on the TV, complete with lake views! The modern dining room features a large glass table seating 8 with a new chandelier. There is a quiet study off the kitchen with a sofa and TV for the early risers to watch while not disturbing the rest of the group. This room offers a queen sleeper sofa as well. The primary bedroom is on the main level with a king bed, attached bath with soaking tub, separate walk-in shower, and dual vanities.

The upper level, with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths, is perfect for many sleeping options. Upon entering the top of the stairs, to the left is a queen bedroom with a new attached bathroom. The pool is a saltwater pool, 3 to 8 feet deep, and open year round. The pool is not heated and maintains a temperature about 7 degrees below the outside temp.

1. STRICT QUIET HOURS:
This home is located in a private, quiet, and family- friendly neighborhood with neighbors on either side. Our strict quiet hours start at 9:00 PM (EDT). No (loud) outdoor music is allowed at any time, and no music (outdoors) after quiet hours. Please be mindful of (loud) conversations when outside the home and we ask you to keep the music / noise indoors to a min, after quiet hours. Thank you for your cooperation, as it helps us to remain a vaca rental home that guests, like yourself, can return to year after year!

2. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED:
This neighborhood strictly prohibits it. Unfortunately, If a party is discovered or an event (we have neighbors on either side & the neighborhood IS regulated) we will have to terminate your stay with No refund given, as it goes against our policy as well as Airbnb's Newest Policy regulating parties / large gatherings, of any kind.

3. PET- POLICY:
We have a one time pet fee, due at the time of booking of $125/per pet, per stay. We allow up to 2 house trained pets ☆ Please Notify us if you intend on bringing animals. If a Pet was noted on the premises without prior approval, guest may forfeit their security deposit of $750. Our in-house cleaner lets us know each pet visit, as well as our outdoor cameras capture footage. (Please Note: there are NO cameras inside the home as we respect guest's privacy)

4. SMOKE FREE:
No Smoking is allowed. Please Do Not smoke within 10 ft of the home. We ask you to dispose of your cigarette butts accordingly. Any trace of smoking (of any kind) found or non-disposal of cig butts will forfeit a guest's refundable security deposit. Thank you for helping us to continue to offer a smoke-free rental.

5. BOAT RENTALS:
We recommend calling in advance if you plan to rent a boat. We do not assist with boat or jet ski rentals, but have a preferred pontoon boat rental (Jake @ Ph: ( ) Boat rentals do book up on weekends & in summer months well in advance, so book early!
For our guest's protection, we do have external cameras at the home. These cameras only monitor the exterior / outside areas of our property which we use to ensure no parties, fires, emergencies or undisclosed pets cause you any inconveniences during your stay.

- "The property was perfect for spending time outside. The pool is huge and the outside covered deck was our favorite spot for meals and playing games at night . We brought our boat and the dock was well maintained and covered and about a 20 minute boat ride to a public dock. We stored our boat trailer at a storage place about 12 minutes from the house. It is on the less touristy side of the lake so it is not crowded at all. You have to drive about a half hour to get to shopping and restaurants but worth the drive to have a less busy area to vacation in. Will try and book this house again for sure."
