The Front Desk and check-in area is located about 1.7 miles off-site at 3077 U.S. Highway 64 East, Suite A, Sapphire, North Carolina. The office is in a two-story, dark salmon building with beige doors on the north side of the road. Please contact the resort prior to arrival if you anticipate your arrival time would be later than midnight (resort local time). Arrivals after midnight may be subject to cancellation. The nearest airport to Fairway Forest Resort is Asheville Regional Airport which is 45 miles by car respectively.

Please note by purchasing this listing you agree that there may be a chance for an 'Upgrade' to your unit for a larger unit that will fit the same amount of people. If this is the case, we will upgrade your room without question, free of charge. Therefore, depending on the length of your stay and unavailability of rooms, you may be upgraded to a larger suite during your stay with us.

Modern Mountain Villa– Three Bedroom Two Bathroom - at 102 Cornet Lane in Highlands is 3.4 miles to Highlands city center. Our 3/2 furnished villa has two primary suites each with en-suite shower room on the entrance level and 3rd bedroom suite is upstairs, sleeps 6. The villa has 20' ceilings, transom windows and french doors opening to the covered back porch and is furnished with high end appliances, queen size electric beds, lounge chairs and 8 person dining table. Dedicated parking for 102 Cornet is on the side and front of the Villa.

Our Mid Term stay is 30days/1 month - 90day/3months at $4950 per month with utilities included. Discounts for longer and extended term leases are offered based on the term. We accept pets max of 2 with a monthly pet fee of 75$ each

The ground level “basement” of building is a separate Pied-a’-terre Owners management office space that is not part of the villa rental. The Pied-a’-terre Owners unit is used for supplies and to host owners or managers needing to provide onsite management. There is no access between the Villa and Pied-a’-terre they are completely separate units accessible from separate driveways.

Pets are welcome, and even have some of amenities of their own. If you have a pet, please discuss the rules and fees that apply. Failure to disclose pet will result in pet fee being billed.

If your pet is approved please clean up after your animal, in and around the cutie along with anywhere within the neighborhood. An additional cleaning fee will result if guest fails to do so.

We have broadband wifi available at the cutie, it is capable of streaming with some of the best download and upload in the mountains.

The cutie is located within a quiet gated golf course community. If you will be checking in after 8pm please let the host know and directions for entry after the gate is closed.

Walk up just a few steps to the upper level with the fireside family room, spacious dining room (seating for 6), large deck with new Weber propane grill and the beautiful fully stocked kitchen. We completely renovated the kitchen in early 2024 with a farmhouse sink, an abundance of cabinets, tons of counter space and quartz tops. Heading down to the finished terrace level you will find the “Queen” room with 2 extra comfy Queen-sized beds, sitting area (my favorite spot to read), small desk area, 2nd huge deck and full bathroom with double vanities. Both bathrooms have brand new vanities and sinks. Enjoy the crisp fresh mountain air as you hike the many waterfalls in the area or stroll along the shops. Our villa has everything you would need for cooking in and relaxing. As my guest you may want to enjoy the beautiful Sapphire Valley Resort. The resort offers so many things for kids and adults, just to name a few-indoor / outdoor pool, fitness center, hot tub, snow skiing (winter), concerts on the slopes, private Lake Fairfield (paddle boating and swimming, arts and crafts, 9-hole executive golf course, the areas only public driving range, foot golf, outdoor tennis center with clay courts, pickleball and so much more! Also, the Ingles grocery store is about 10 minutes away and has a Starbucks inside, an extensive wine selection, a great selection of organic offerings, a very nice make your own salad bar and so much more. I provide pet waste baggies (located in the foyer in a small wicker basket). I also provide a small waste can outside on the front porch near the bench for you to put the doggie waste baggies.
* NEVER put doggie waste baggies in the big metal trash containers in the parking area. Before you check out, please put all used doggie baggies in a large kitchen trash bag and put them in the big metal trash bin in the parking area.

**Hot tub and pool are off site at the Sapphire Valley Community Resort which is just a very short drive (about 4 minutes) from the villa. My guests are welcome to use the resort facilities. Many of the resort amenities are FREE but there may be a small fee for some activities etc. I will inform the resort you are my guest. Please go their front desk for passes and a list of activities, amenities and fees.

The bedding was extremely comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The layout was a split where one bedroom was on one floor and the other below which gave privacy while at the same time still feeling connected. To say that our stay did not disappoint. We will definitely put this VRBO on our list to visit again. If you are looking for a mountain get-away for just a relaxing recharge weekend or lots of Resort activity like golf, swim, putt-putt, arcade, hiking, shopping, wineries and so much more then this is the place to visit and make memories."

The views were awesome sitting on the porch in the morning having coffee and planning the day. The location was perfect for day trips to Asheville and the Highlands. Approximately 486 square feet, this 1 Bedroom Standard features 1 King Bed in the master bedroom, a partial kitchen, dining area and 1 bathroom. Maximum of 2 occupants.
