The outside dining area benefits from a new large patio dining table with 6 new chairs available, along with a new briquettes barbeque and tools.

Parking

The Villa is located on a private, well lit, one-way street with very low levels of traffic. Parking is available directly outside the villa on the street.

Refuse and Recycling

Recycling facilities are available only 50m from the villa and non-recyclable refuse is conveniently located 20m away and is collected daily.

Water

Water is solar heated with a 200 litre tank, enabling 6 people to enjoy hot, high pressure showers within a very short space of time. A back up water pump and tank is fitted should the mains supply fail.

Smoke alarms are fitted throughout the Villa for your safety.

Our guest book boasts fantastic comments about the villa and its location, with many guests returning year after year. The sea front and main Puerto del Carmen beach together with the shops, bars and restaurants on the Avenida Las Playas are a 5 minute walk away to the centre of the beach (properties in Los Mojones are typically a 30 minute walk uphill back from the start of the beach). A 15 minute walk takes you into the Old Town and harbour with its many shops and restaurants. A car is not necessary and a taxi from the airport costs approx 18 Euro. Situated in a very peaceful area yet only 5 minutes walk to the beach, supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment.

Puerto Del Carmen and the beaches.

Situated only 10 minutes walk to the Playa Grande beach and the Playa Avenida, you will find all the frontline Puerto del Carmen bars, restaurants, entertainment, a large variety of shops.

If you like shopping there are plenty in the Bio sfera shopping Mall, plus cafes and restaurants and an outdoor cinema.

In Puerto Del Carmen the variety of restaurants is vast. There is something for everyone...Spanish, British, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, and plenty of bars and entertainment.

For your immediate food essentials there is a local supermarket round the corner.
For the larger shop there is a new Mercadona supermarket with parking and a Large Lidl also with parking.

For the children and parents there is the Texas Rancho theme park and zoo, for a fun day out. There are action packed days on Dune Buggies, at nearby Puerto Colero (bring your driving license), and plenty of water sports and hiking or cycling.

The Lanzarote coastline, does attract people who love the water sports, hiking and cycling.

There are water taxis from Puerto Del Carmen Harbour to Fuerteventura, and Sea Safaris for a chance at spotting a dolphin!

If you fancy a gentle stroll along the Avenida it is a flat walk and you can stop a different cafe bar or a restaurant everyday. There are beautiful sunsets behind the volcanic mountain ranges.

Exploring the island is another option, and there are markets in Puerto Colero and in Teguise (not Costa Teguise) for a range of souvenirs and clothing and leather goods.

Villa Ardilla’ is well furnished throughout and is very well equipped with everything needed for a self-catering holiday.It is located 400m from the main avenida in Puerto del carmen . The 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor. The master bedroom has a king size bed, ample wardrobe space and an en-suite bathroom. There are 2 further bedrooms, which both contain twin beds. The master bathroom is on this level. The living room is on the upper floor. It is furnished with leather sofas and has patio doors leading to a large balcony with dining. The well-equipped kitchen is divided from the living room by a breakfast bar. For extra convenience there is a third bathroom on this floor. Villa access is through a 6' gate from a pedestrian walk way, makes this ideal for families with smaller children.

Swimming pool: The Swimming pool measures approx 7 x 3.5 metres and has an depth of 1.1 to 1.9 metres and is solar heated for your comfort. Please be advised that children should be attended at all times whilst using the swimming pool. In order to help maintain the temperature of the swimming pool, there is a pool cover provided (generally the pool is kept covered at night).

The villa is spacious, clean & has home from home amenities. All I would gripe about is the address on the internet isn’t where you’ll be dropped off, it’s about 100yrds away. The villa is slightly set back off the road & when we ordered takeaway, we had to go out on the road to collect it as they were going 100yards away to another property. But it was no issue once we knew. I’d definitely return to this villa. Lidl is 10min walk away, make sure you buy your own washing supplies and dishwasher detergent. All white goods have clear instructions on how to use them. Walking to the strip was a downhill walk about 15-20min away steady pace. The shopping mall is close, again up & down hill. We loved every minute of our stay. Highly recommend"
