The outside dining area benefits from a new large patio dining table with 6 new chairs available, along with a new briquettes barbeque and tools.

Parking

The Villa is located on a private, well lit, one-way street with very low levels of traffic. Parking is available directly outside the villa on the street.

Refuse and Recycling

Recycling facilities are available only 50m from the villa and non-recyclable refuse is conveniently located 20m away and is collected daily.

Water

Water is solar heated with a 200 litre tank, enabling 6 people to enjoy hot, high pressure showers within a very short space of time. A back up water pump and tank is fitted should the mains supply fail.

Smoke alarms are fitted throughout the Villa for your safety.

The main bathroom has been completely refurbished in 2023, to a high and modern standard, everyone has been pleased with the result. Our guest book boasts fantastic comments about the villa and its location, with many guests returning year after year. The sea front and main Puerto del Carmen beach together with the shops, bars and restaurants on the Avenida Las Playas are a 5 minute walk away to the centre of the beach (properties in Los Mojones are typically a 30 minute walk uphill back from the start of the beach). A 15 minute walk takes you into the Old Town and harbour with its many shops and restaurants. A car is not necessary and a taxi from the airport costs approx 18 Euro. Situated in a very peaceful area yet only 5 minutes walk to the beach, supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment.

Puerto Del Carmen and the beaches.

Situated only 10 minutes walk to the Playa Grande beach and the Playa Avenida, you will find all the frontline Puerto del Carmen bars, restaurants, entertainment, a large variety of shops.

If you like shopping there are plenty in the Bio sfera shopping Mall, plus cafes and restaurants and an outdoor cinema.

In Puerto Del Carmen the variety of restaurants is vast. There is something for everyone...Spanish, British, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, and plenty of bars and entertainment.

For your immediate food essentials there is a local supermarket round the corner.
For the larger shop there is a new Mercadona supermarket with parking and a Large Lidl also with parking.

For the children and parents there is the Texas Rancho theme park and zoo, for a fun day out. There are action packed days on Dune Buggies, at nearby Puerto Colero (bring your driving license), and plenty of water sports and hiking or cycling.

The Lanzarote coastline, does attract people who love the water sports, hiking and cycling.

There are water taxis from Puerto Del Carmen Harbour to Fuerteventura, and Sea Safaris for a chance at spotting a dolphin!

If you fancy a gentle stroll along the Avenida it is a flat walk and you can stop a different cafe bar or a restaurant everyday. There are beautiful sunsets behind the volcanic mountain ranges.

Exploring the island is another option, and there are markets in Puerto Colero and in Teguise (not Costa Teguise) for a range of souvenirs and clothing and leather goods.

The 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor. The master bedroom has a king size bed, ample wardrobe space and an en-suite bathroom. There are 2 further bedrooms, which both contain twin beds. The master bathroom is on this level. The living room is on the upper floor. It is furnished with leather sofas and has patio doors leading to a large balcony with dining. - "It started when we first arrived at the villa having booked a taxi from the airport (22 euros worth every penny). The location was quiet - only 1 villa backs onto you that runs along the wall where the BBQ is, but you are totally private as walls are high. On opening the front door it was amazing as the photos do not do justice to the size of the pool or the fact it is heated, nor the space around it, the hot tub space and the set up of the villa. Everything was spot on and everything had been thought of from a wine cooler in the little shelter by the pool to fully equipped kitchen. The place was spotless, beds comfortable showers excellent. During the week we were visited by Jill and both the cleaner and pool man. All were highly professional and we were advised by Pedro the pool man to try the pool late in the evening as night lights come on across the outside space and the pool was lovely at that time of night. He was right. Throughout the week there was little noise and we were not disturbed. Nearest supermarket was Lidl a 10 min walk and Puerto old town was 15 min walk downhill. If you get the chance I recommend it wholeheartedly. It was so comfortable we only went out twice and BBQ'd the rest of the time. Go you won't be disappointed."

Villa Princesa Sonia is a beautiful independent house with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom located in one of the most demanded areas of Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. It is within a very quiet tourist urbanization with beaches, shopping centers and a fabulous sea avenue.
The villa belongs to my family for over 35 years. In 2018 we completed a comprehensive reform of the villa to modernize it and prepare it for the holiday rental. As can be seen in the photos, we spare nothing to achieve a spectacular result, both inside and outside. The house maintains the traditional essence of Canarian architecture: volcanic stone, white walls, typical chimneys, straight lines ... but now it has a more modern, fresh, cozy style ... Light enters everywhere.
The house has a master bedroom with air conditioning, built-in wardrobe and soundproof windows. In this bedroom there is a double bed. The mattress is high-end with measures 150cm x 200cm. Comfort and rest is guaranteed. In addition, there is a safe in the closet for your valuables.
In the secondary bedroom there are two single beds and a built-in wardrobe. There is a large window with soundproof crystals.
The villa has two outdoor areas where you can enjoy the magnificent climate of the Canary Islands. In front of the living room there is an outdoor dining area covered with a traditional style white wooden pergola. The dining room and terrace are joined by sliding aluminum doors. In addition, there is a large solarium with artificial grass and a large tree. There are four sunbeds and an umbrella. It is the best area of the house for sunbathing. There is an outdoor shower ideal for cooling off or removing sand when you return from the beach.
The dining room is one of the best areas of the house. It is equipped with air conditioning. The TV is a 50-inch Samsung with SmartTV (NetFlix, Youtube, Amazon, ...). There are foreign channels in open in different languages. In addition, some Spanish television channels broadcast part of their content in English.
The bathroom has a white walk-in shower with a large glass screen. There are shelves with glass shelves to place the towels. Both the toilet and the toilet are designer pieces of the Roca brand. There is a hair dryer.
The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare any type of food. There are small appliances and kitchen utensils.
The house has a closed patio where to do laundry and hang clothes. There is a washing machine, ironing equipment and is supplied with all necessary cleaning products, including detergent and fabric softener.

Water is a very scarce resource in Lanzarote. Unlike other islands such as La Palma (Canary Islands), there are no natural sources of water here. All fresh water is obtained from desalination of seawater in a process that consumes a lot of energy. We encourage you to make responsible water consumption during your stay. The Vrbo pricing structure does not allow the rate to be adjusted for the peak rate bands, therefore please submit a reservation request and the quote will be adjusted to the correct €2300 per week peak demand rate for up to 6 people or for 8 people €2600.

The local shops and bars are enough to have a great night out (try Oceans cocktail bar if you’re a karaoke lover which suited my daughter immensely!) and have supermarkets with most things you’ll need. For a larger shop a 6 euro taxi ride will take you to puerto del carmen for mercadona and other large stores. You’ll also find playa chica there which is brill for snorkelling- shoals of fish galore. The beach near the villa is perfect for swimming and sunbathing though too. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and I’d thoroughly recommend it."

alternative routes: You may either turn left and walk down Calle Grecia, which leads towards Playa Pocillos — arguably the most attractive beach of the island — stretching through Matagorda and Honda to the capital Arrecife. Or you may walk down Avenida Italia which leads to the promenade with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. If you keep walking straight down to the sea, there is a sheltered beach bay perfect for winter sun/sea bathing.

Lovely decor inside and loads of space outside for alfresco dining, washing machine outside in laundry room, cushioned sunbeds and most importantly, the tiles around the pool didn't burn your feet in the Lanzarote sunshine, they were cool enough to walk on. For anyone wanting to work remotely, the internet connect was excellent and the dining table worked perfectly for us, although there is a small desk in the master bedroom for working and had all the necessary stationery needed. I can't rate the villa highly enough, it was perfect for us. The hosts, the Brill family are lovely to deal with, answering any questions by email, even phone, so promptly. A lovely relaxing (although semi working) holiday was had by us in this lovely villa and we can't wait to return."

The house is on a private road and cannot be seen from the outside. It is about 10 to 15 minutes' walk to the beach, as well as the promenade with its bars, restaurants, boutiques, etc.
