Villa Principessa has direct access to the sea, beach platform, and pool. It's comprised of 3 bedrooms with 2 king-size and 1 queen-size bed (on request, we can provide 2 twin beds in each bedroom), each with its own private bathroom; a large living room with a stunning sea view; a spacious dining room with a fully equipped kitchen, a house bathroom and two private outdoor spaces with sea view.
One of the bedrooms is large enough to accommodate an extra bed, which is available on request.
In both the living room and dining room, there is a comfortable double sofa bed. All rooms have either a balcony or terrace with lovely views of the sea.

The villa's many amenities include air conditioning/heating, high-speed internet access, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a dryer, flat TV.

Villa Principessa is one of the finest villas in Ravello and on the whole of the Amalfi Coast. In fact, despite having been completely renovated and equipped with every modern comfort, the villa still conserves much of its late eighteenth-century charm.

Along with direct access to the sea, guests staying at Villa Principessa also have access to the new "infinity" pool and large solarium!

The pool is located just across the street from the villa and just 70 steps from the road, and is shared with the other 5 villas in the complex. Each guest has his/her sun lounger guaranteed, and pool towels are provided as well.

The pool is open starting from April 1st onwards (weather permitting) and is heated in the spring and autumn months.

The entrance is on the street level; from here you enter a small reception area which, on the left, opens onto the large and prestigiously furnished sitting room and, on the right, the stairs that lead to the other two floors.

Villa Principessa is located in one of the most scenic and picturesque areas of the Amalfi Coast: Marmorata, the area of Ravello closest to the sea.

The location is strategic: in fact, even if it's in the area of Ravello, the closest little town is Minori (which is just a short walk from the villa (10 minutes) or 2 minutes by bus, car or taxi.).

Minori features sand beaches, shops, grocery stores, banks, excellent restaurants and one of the best and world's most famous pastry shops "Sal De Riso".

From the charming village of Minori: ferry lines for Amalfi, Positano, Capri, etc, depart.

Amalfi town is at only 1.5 miles/2.4 km away (about 7-8 minutes by car, taxi, bus, or ferry);

Villa Principessa is a perfect base to visit all the towns along the Amalfi Coast, and also other towns such as Sorrento, Pompeii and Hercolaneum.

For the definitive confirmation of the reservation, the payment of 50% of the total amount of the stay (+ the service fee) is required at the moment of the booking through VRBO reservation system. The balance will be paid on arrival.

The rental period can start and finish any day (according to the availability).

Check-in: any day of the week from 2.30 PM to 8.30 PM.
For arrivals from 8.30 pm to 11.00 pm, an additional fee of €30 will be charged.
For arrivals AFTER 11.00 pm, the fee increases to €50.
Check-out (any day of the week) is by 10.00 AM.

You will be roughly 2 km (1.2 miles) from the center of Amalfi, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port.
You will find the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Salerno line at 20 meters (65 feet) and the closest beach (Castiglione di Ravello beach) at 1.3 km (roughly 0.8 mile) including 200 stairway steps (other beaches with less steps to climb are also available in the area).
You will reach Star Fish House from the street level going up a private walkway that cuts through a garden and includes approximately 50 stairway steps.

The hot tub on the lowest yard level was soothing after the many trips up to the square and back. Yes, it’s over one hundred stairs to the square (there is a bus somewhere. We just never used it which made the pasta courses a bit more guilt-free). I could go on but you get the picture. Lastly, Francesca and Giada were extremely responsive and helpful."

From Villa Stilnovo you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. Villa Stilnovo is 280 square meters (3000 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two private terraces, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 800 meters (half a mile) from Ravello, where you will find restaurants, shops and the stop for the SITA bus and for the local bus. You will find the closest restaurant at 600 meters (660 yards), a grocery store at 2 km (roughly 1.2 miles) and the closest beach (Castiglione di Ravello beach) at 6 km (roughly 3.7 miles) including 200 stairway steps (other beaches with less steps to climb are also available in the area). You will reach Villa Stilnovo from the parking area without having to climb any steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Stilnovo. If you do have one, you will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. The parking space is suitable for up to three cars. If necessary, you can park along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).

The swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 16 meters (52 feet) long, from 1 meter (3.3 feet) to 3.5 meters (11.5 feet) deep. The area is equipped with tables, chairs, deck chairs, sun loungers, a swing and an external shower, and it is partly shaded by a porch made of stone. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a fascinating view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of October.
Garden
The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by perfumed lemon and grapevine pergolas. In the garden you will find a children's playground. From the garden you will enjoy an enchanting view of the greenery and of the coast of Amalfi.

The living room is paved with handmade majolica tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. In this room you will find an upright piano (please contact us before making your reservation if you plan to use the piano, as we need to make sure that it is in working order). There is a nice fireplace made of stone, for decorative purposes only. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. It is spacious and comfortable, equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate six guests. From the kitchen two French doors will take you to the patio with a broad view of the sea and of the valley below. The room also has a window.

- "We had three generations at Villa Stilnovo. We all said it was the best vacation we ever had. Our group of ten including 4 children ages 10, 8, 8 and 5 all said there was nothing they would change. It is the only vacation I have ever been on that I was truly sad to leave. We definitely want to go back. Many times we hiked, we walked to Ravello, but every afternoon we returned to Villa Stilnovo and sat on the deck, some of us went swimming in the huge wonderful pool. We thought we wanted dinner at the villa every other night, looking back we had dinner at the villa every night, but two. Rodica is a fabulous cook and Mircea made sure everyone was happy. One of our group is gluten free and Rodica easily made his dinner happen. It was delicious! We are thinking of when we can go back. Transportation in Amalfi area is challenging, but nothing was too much trouble for Mircea and he has a big Mercedes van that could handle all of us. We were a little "tight" - so he had to make multiple trips to the airport, but from the house to pick us up in Amalfi or Minori, etc. Was never a problem. Keep Rodica and Mircea happy :) They are beyond wonderful. Summer In Italy, Luca and Klint, answered my many questions about transportation, chartering a boat, cooking and the house. All of the questions were promptly answered. The best advice they gave me was to wait until I got to the house because Mircea and Rodica were so knowledgeable, helpful and nice, they would take care of our every wish. Summer In Italy was wonderful. I am already thinking of planning another trip. I cannot thank you and Klint enough for always answering my many questions and helping me plan this trip for our family. - "We rented Villa Enza for a week while in Ravello for our wedding. It was the most perfect central location, right up the steps is the main town square. It was also conveniently right next to the parking lot so we could get dropped off/picked up by our taxi with all of our bags right outside the door(typically in Ravello you need to walk as cars aren’t allowed within the town). The sister property is right behind, but still private and separated by a fence and hedges. It was convenient for us that family members rented this house so we could easily pop over to say hello(a good option to rent both if you are a larger group!). The inside of the house is quite small but if you’re only 3 people like we were, it was comfortable. The indoor AC was great also. The best part about the house was the beautiful garden and outdoor seating and dining area, we spent all of our time hanging out there. There is a washer and dryer you may use during your stay. There is also an iron and ironing board.

An outdoor kitchen with pizza oven is available. This pizza oven is available only if you book our house pizza chef.

Interior:
The villa is composed of the main house and an annex. The whole develops on the terraced cliffs along the ridge that slopes down to the sea, adapting to the particular morphology of the territory. The three levels on which it develops (to which the lower one with the Turkish bath is added), are internally connected by spiral staircases but each level also has its own independent access, directly from the external steps. About 195 downhill steps from the main road lead to the first terrace of the property which contains the wonderful pergola and a fully-equipped kitchen. From here, going down a ramp, you come to the first entrance to the villa which leads into a hallway with two double bedrooms, each served by its own guest bathroom. Going down to the lower level is a bathroom with shower and the sitting room, with a TV corner and a reading room with fireplace, which opens onto a panoramic terrace. The final level is occupied by the open-plan kitchen with dining and seating area overlooking the sea. Next to the main body of the villa is the annex, with the entrance leading into a living area complete with kitchenette and, on the floor below, with a double bedroom (with queen size bed) and a bathroom with shower.
Park:
The 1,500 sq m of the park of Villa Casarossa Numero Uno develop along the slope that faces the east of the valley and ending with the town of Minori, crossed by steps and terraces supported by dry stone walls that alternate along the scenic path of lemons. The whole garden, organised in terraces connected by flights of steps, is designed to guarantee a proper sensory path overlooking the sea, able to amaze with its riot of scents and colours. Walking along it, you come across a proper plant anthology, made up of typical Mediterranean essences: vines, cascades of lemons, olives, figs, apples, plums, pears, laurel, myrtle and aromatic herbs, embellished with an exotic touch of cycas and bougainvillea to mark the way along paved paths and well-kept patches of lawn. In the highest part of the garden, a large pergola covered by strawberry grapes and bunches of kiwis contains two living/dining areas and a gas hob. A few steps away is the fully-equipped kitchen and the wonderful terrace dominated by the hot tub. A second dining area is located in the heart of the park near the swimming pool, both reached through the garden entrance gate, separated from the body of the house by the pedestrian path. At the foot of the building, with direct entrance from the pedestrian path and with a panoramic view of the gulf, is the Turkish bath. The property does not have its own parking area, private paid parking is available in Ravello.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
Forty-three steps along the path of lemons lead from the garden to the cliff on one side of the villa, also designed with a sea view, which contains the swimming pool and a terraced garden studded with pergolas of lemons, fruit trees (apple, peach and fig ), olive trees and a small vineyard. A large pergola provides shade to the dining area with stone table sink and wood oven. Going along the internal avenue bordered by Mediterranean essences, you come to an upper terrace with the sunbathing area equipped with sunbeds and the exclusive swimming pool, also designed to re-propose in modern key the old culture of water and landscape. Its shape recalls that of the old "fish ponds" - tanks for the collection and accumulation of water for both domestic and agricultural use, essential for the life of the territory – with its supply provided by a small scenic canal cascade. Chlorine-purified and irregular in shape with a metal access ladder, the pool has an area of about 20 cubic metres and a maximum depth of 1.80 m. The swimming pool is available to guests from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

- "This is the perfect place if you are looking for a ton of space in a great location with A LOT of privacy. Very quite at night and very private terraces. My fiancé and I stayed for 5 nights in early Oct. The weather was perfect for dinners on the patio and I loved cooking in the outdoor kitchen. The multiple views across multiple terraces were incredible. It's a short 10 min walk to Ravello which is much less touristy than Amalfi. We rented a Vespa for anything further. There are about 200 stairs down and up to the villa so we paid our taxi drivers to help with bags. If you are not able bodied you cannot stay here. It is also a multi story, spiral staircase home. So there is no way you can be here with someone (young or old) that can't walk easily. That being said, we found the inside to be stunning and romantic. The stairs were welcome exercise. The garden was ripe with seasonal fruits. We enjoyed tomatoes, kiwis, figs, grapes, lemons and rosemary. Our checkin/checkout with Gerardo was incredibly easy. He gave us a great recommendation to a booking agency, Chic & Fabulous, in downtown Ravello. We rented our vespa, purchased ferry tickets to Amalfi, booked private car services and received recommendations from Francesca and her team. Asks: More larger bath towels would have been nice. I would recommend this property to nearly anyone for a group up to 4 people. Fantastic experience."

Moreever the surface of the platforms and steps leading to the sea has been completely covered with a fine gravel drowned in resin. The final result is beautiful to the eye and it is very safe for our guests becouse no slippery vegetation can grow on it. Now the sea area seems like a private beach in a beautiful cristal water inlet! The wonderful natural setting which is the perfect setting for the most scenic corner of the property. The villa is covering the garden with a view of the surrounding nature, relaxing area, solarium, small kitchen, sauna, kids area and changing room with toilet complete this amazing property.
