The villa is located a few meters from the beach of Seiano, a splendid location on the Sorrento Peninsula, in a panoramic and strategic position, in a private and guarded park, a few steps from the center of Vico Equense. The villa is arranged over 3 floors; upon entering the gate you will find the annexe in front of you with a double bedroom and a bathroom with a floor-mounted shower.
Going up the external staircase you get to the super panoramic terrace with a direct view of the sea. Connected by an internal staircase you reach the first two super panoramic floors: on the lower floor there is a large living-living room with fireplace and two sofas, large kitchen, small bathroom and entrance; on the second floor 2 spacious double bedrooms and a room with two single beds, laundry room and 2 comfortable bathrooms, 1 of which with whirlpool tub and walk-in shower and the other with walk-in shower. It is also a great jumping off point for visiting Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Pompeii, etc. We used the host to book a dinner, transportation to Rome/Pompeii, and a van tour of the Amalfi Coast. The villa is located in a private park overlooking the sea from the cliffs, from where you can reach beaches and restaurants along a typical coastal path.

The villa is spread over two floors – ground floor and first floor. It is completely independent and self-contained, and guests have full access to all areas.

On the ground floor there is a spacious living room that opens onto the panoramic terrace.

On the terrace, you can dine at the large round table, admire the view from the hammock, or simply relax on the rocking sofa.

We drove from Naples to the villa where we received a welcome from our lovely host, Margi. The drive up the hill from the main road was a bit challenging, but became easier with practice. The house is lovely -- elegant yet casual, with plenty of space to spread out together or be apart. The 4 bedrooms were all perfectly adequate with comfortable beds and typical European bathrooms (handheld showers & smallish shower stalls). We had plenty of hot water for our large group. The living room and dining room are enormous, with tons of windows and natural light, very high ceilings, and comfortable seating. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of dishware, silverware, glassware, cookware, etc., and there is a breakfast table as well. The patio areas are breathtaking. We spent most of our time relaxing outside and watching the boats go by. Sunsets every night were spectacular -- we couldn't bring ourselves to dine out in town as we didn't want to miss the sunset, so we cooked all of our dinners there. The patios have plenty of lounge chairs & regular patio chairs for quite a crowd. We didn't use the swimming pool, which is smaller than it looks in the photos, but certainly large enough to cool off and splash around on a hot day. Getting into Vico Equense was difficult without a car, so we are glad we rented one. The walk downhill and by road is pretty nerve wracking, as there is little sidewalk and lots of fast moving cars. There is a path above the house that takes you to Vico – It's about a 25 minute uphill + downhill walk. It was fine, but I wouldn't have wanted to do it every day or with groceries. I would definitely recommend renting a car. The drive from Naples was easy, and we stopped & visited Herculaneum along the way. The villa is in a perfect location for visiting nearby sites. We spent time in the next town over (Castellammare di Stabia), with a lovely harbor and many nice waterfront restaurants as well as a funicular to the top of Mount Faito. There are also very interesting ruins of Roman villas in town. We visited Scavi di Stabia which was very interesting and free to visit. We shopped at the LIDL grocery store there as well -- it is large and well stocked. As far as I'm concerned, there is nowhere better to stay on the Sorrento peninsula. Villa Margi is a gem, & should I find myself in that part of Italy in the future that's where I would want to stay."

He left some drinks and food to get us started and even set us up with a local boat company for private boat rentals to/around Capri. Villa Celentano is a splendid two-story villa located on a hillside, facing the sea and can sleep up to 14 people. From Villa Celentano, you will enjoy a breath-taking view of the sea in the distance, Vico Equense, the Sorrento Coast and of the surrounding hills.

Villa Celentano is 250 metres squared. It features one spacious, private, long terrace/balcony with a view of the sea, a private above-ground swimming pool, air conditioning and winter heating. It is perfect for a large family retreat, celebration or group of friends. Being only 11km from Sorrento, Villa Celentano is great for sight-seeing, but it is off the beaten track, therefore, avoiding the tourist chaos.

Villa Celentano is situated in a village called Ticciano, which is nestled in the hills of Sorrento Peninsula, near the town of Vico Equense. Villa Celentano offers all guests the opportunity to do excursions, nature walks, boat trips, guided tours and is only a 20 minute trip to the beach. The villa can also provide a guided tour of the surrounding mountains, Mount Faito, (Path of the Gods) and arrange a BBQ. Spend relaxing moments in the middle of nature and also live the 'real life' like people from the Sorrento peninsula, outside the usual tourist haunts. For lovers of gourmet, there are local restaurants and wine bars nearby, which offer typical regional and national produce.

Ticciano is connected by a road which leads to Sorrento and Vico Equense. It is also an ideal starting point for excursions to the famous Positano and the Amalfi Coast, Capri and the fascinating ruins of Pompeii.

The villa is situated approximately 30 metres from the nearest shops, including an infamous butcher with delicious meat. The bus stop (Circumvesuviana, the local bus) is just opposite the villa and will take you to the local beach (Vico Equense) in approximately 20 minutes and the train station. From the train station, you can take the train to Sorrento or Pompeii in approximately 20 minutes. There are pizzerias and restaurants within a 10-minute drive from the property (which also offer a pizza delivery service). We can organise a food hamper for your arrival and home delivery of pizza on request.

The villa has six air-conditioned/heated double bedrooms, five of which are en-suite. There are four bedrooms on the ground floor which are all ensuite and all have double beds which cannot be separated. One of the bedrooms can be accessed via the lounge or externally via the terrace. Two bedrooms can be accessed externally from the courtyard or internally and the fourth bedroom can be accessed via the terrace or internally.

On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms both with double beds which cannot be separated. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. To access the second bedroom you need to go through the first bedroom. One of the bedrooms has a sea view and the other has a mountain view. All bedrooms have air conditioning/heating and are well-equipped. They have an LCD flat-screen TV. All the bathrooms have a shower, toilet, washbasin, bidet and heated towel rail. Additional, foldable single beds can be added to four of the larger bedrooms on request.

There is also a large open plan, fully equipped kitchen and dining room with two sofas and access to the terrace/balcony. Next to the kitchen, there is a utility and a bathroom. Up to 14 people can be seated therefore it is perfect for a large family gathering or special occasion. Here there is also a flat-screen TV. Both from the balconies and from the courtyard, you have direct access to the solarium and pool area. The BBQ is situated by the pool.

The owners live next door but have a separate entrance and you can enjoy the use of a wood-burning oven, on the rooftop of their property, free of charge but on request. The swimming pool is 5 metres long, 3 metres wide and 1.40 metres deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, deck chairs, sun loungers and an outdoor shower. From the swimming pool, you will enjoy the sea in the distance and views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The pool is open from mid April until the end of October.

Just 10 minutes’ walk from Villa Celentano, you will find Laqua Countryside, a 2-star Michelin restaurant. Antonino Cannavacciuolo, originally from Ticciano (a borough of Vico Equense), has 2 Michelin stars to his name and has just opened a new restaurant, Laqua Countryside, approx. 600 metres away. So, while staying at Villa Celentano, take a stroll to the famous chef’s newly refurbished property to enjoy a first-class, Italian meal in the heart of the Sorrento Coast.

To make most of your stay at Villa Celentano, you will need a car. There are up to 2/3 gated car park spaces at the property for small/medium (not large) sized cars just outside the front door. The last 20 metres from the main road up to the villa is a tight and windy road. If you have a large car, there is a free public car park 50 metres from the villa.

For guests who love walking and hiking, there are local guides who can accompany you on beautiful walks such as the Path of Gods, a walk to Positano from Santa Maria del Castello and stunning landscape walks in Monte Faito with views of the Bay of Naples. Just ask for more information.

Salvatorosa is an independent villa and has private access and outdoor spaces, a 6x3m swimming pool and a well-equipped BQ area for the exclusive use of guests. The villa's name is inspired by the fact that it is completely immersed in a vast olive-grove which stretches over the cliff terraces and overlooks the sea. The villa is 310 metres squared and can accommodate up to 12 people. It extends over 7 hectares and is cultivated with olives and fruit trees. It boasts a wealth of fascinating footpaths that climb up the sea-facing slope of the mountainside.

We a recommend a car when staying here, although there is a bus stop 150 metres away. If you do have a car, you can park it in the secure, gated area. There is space for up to 3 mid-sized cars.
