THE VILLA

The spacious property, completely renovated in 2025, features four bright rooms tastefully and simply furnished, along with three bathrooms to offer you maximum comfort and a pleasant shared living experience.

Outside, the new bbq area, with its pergola facing the pool, super-equipped kitchen and traditional wood-fired barbecue, is the ideal space to relax or work in contact with nature.
Here, moreover, our Home Chef Adriano, can organise lunches and dinners on request, to take you on a journey through local flavours and treat you to an extra treat.

On the ground floor you will find the bright living room, equipped with satellite TV and a large window overlooking the lush garden, the comfortable kitchen equipped with the latest appliances, a PC workstation at your disposal and the bedroom with French bed, private bathroom and direct access to the garden.

On the first floor there are two bathrooms and the other three bedrooms: a double room with king-size bed, a quadruple room (double bed plus a possible bunk bed) and a twin room with a bed that can be separated on request.

The house has adjustable air conditioning in every single room, free high-speed Wi-Fi, both in the house and in the garden, and offers a spectacular view of Verona and the surrounding hills. A perfect solution also for those who have to work remotely.

There is free private parking and a games area (table tennis and trampoline).

Villa Beatrice is the ideal starting point for many different activities. From this oasis of peace, in just a few minutes you can reach the wonderful Lake Garda or take a tour of the historic Valpolicella wine cellars. For lovers of outdoor activities, the surrounding hills and the nearby Lessinia offer a multitude of pleasant paths to be followed on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. For a sporting trip out of town, you can travel to Trentino and the Dolomites and, thanks to the nearby FS train station, you can also dedicate a day to the charms of Venice. Within 5 minutes you can find all services: supermarkets, pharmacies, newsagents, restaurants, etc.

It was a hot week but the air conditioning kept the villa very comfortable, and the wifi worked great (two of us on Teams calls at the same time, no issues, and it even works by the pool!). The wood-fired BBQ was fun for an outdoor dinner. Communication with Simone was excellent. He helped us find everything: the grocery store, the best sights to see in Verona, free parking lots, great gelato and pizza, restaurant reservations, and even a basketball court so my basketball-obsessed son could shoot some hoops. Simone can arrange for a chef, which we took advantage of on the first night since we were arriving after a long drive. Highly recommend! As others have said, a car is very convenient to have in this location especially if you want to get out for sightseeing and getting groceries etc. All in all, a very special stay in beautiful Verona. - "We loved the history and the beauty of the surrounding vineyards. The pool was convent and villa was clean.It was easy to drive to the market and go sight seeing. Thomas was a kind man and helped us all questions." - "House feels full of stories and perfect for a large group. The upstairs is sprawling with plenty of comfortable bedrooms for a crowd as well as communal spaces to either gather or quiet corners to get away. The downstairs has a very practical and complete kitchen / laundry / dining areas. The outdoor spaces were our favorites, though, the covered porch/dining area, upstairs loggia, and pool. The pool is clean and fresh and is situated so there is shade in the afternoon. A gate can be closed to protect young kids, and you can hear the pool from the kitchen to supervise teens. The location is near a small town, but not close enough to walk. With a car it is easy to visit Lake Garda and Verona as well as lesser-known (relaxed and not overtouristed!) areas such as Mantova and Vicenza. Venice, Parma, and many other attractions are within an hour. We especially enjoyed the warm welcome of the owners and the tasting they arranged of local products, including of the vines and olive trees on the property. This was a marvelous backdrop for a family reunion and exploring northern Italy. We hope to one day return in other seasons and share with other friends!"

The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the pool was a great place for relaxing days at the Villa. The owners were amazing from the very beginning. They answered every question we had quickly and made great suggestions on things to do and where to go. We threw a celebration party at the villa and at the owners suggestion hired the best chef to come and cook a 5 course meal. This property was the perfect location with its outdoor dining space! We hired a photographer to take family pictures around the property, I highly suggest doing this!! This location was perfect as a home base to visit Lake Garda, Verona and Venice. The people of Avesa were so welcoming, we would walk down to the cafe each morning for a cappuccino, pastry and then head to the market and bakery. This paradise in the countryside is located just 10 minutes away from the historical city centre. In a protected area of the park we have one donkey and some sheeps and the children often come to feed them and they enjoy very much of this experience.
The area is prestigious, very quiet and well served by the public transportation system. Good restaurants are within walking distance. There is one wine producer with its own restaurant producing red Valpolicella wine is just "at the corner". The grocery stores are located within a couple of minutes by car from the house. Possibility of cycling on bike paths outside the home and to enjoy simple walks in the bush.

- "We had a fabulous long weekend at Villa san Bonifacio to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. The house is fantastic and we were 23 for two of the nights and there was plenty of room and the house is well heated and very comfortable and no shortage of hot water too! We were very well looked after by Lodovico (who was there to greet us when we arrived) with food catered by the wonderful Joyce and her team. Lodovico was incredibly helpful, even recommending a fabulous nearby winery where we bought our wine after an excellent wine tasting. Would not hesitate to recommend staying here and we try much hope and expect to return!"

Surrounded by a private park of green lawns and secular plane trees, the villa, (of more than 700 square meters) is rented entirely to only one group of persons. It is furnished with antique paintings and furniture and it is situated on the banks of the river Adige in the town of Villabartolomea of which the ancestors of the present owners of the villa were feudal lords since the 15th century. The villa is in the heart of a highly suggestive rural setting comprised of the ample plains of the 'Great Veronese Valleys'. Here the three regions of Veneto, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna come together, offering attractions of great cultural, artistic and environmental interest. Ideal position for visiting cities and places of enormous appeal such as: Verona, Mantova, Ferrara, Vicenza, Padova, Lake of Garda and the Delta of the Po river (all within the distance of 60 Km). And Venice is only 100km far! An off ground swimming pool opens from June 15 to September 15.
The Owner and his father are also living in the same compound - in two separate apartments - and can give Guests any information and contacts with the local Hospital, the Police and Fire stations, as well as other useful or emergency information.
All rental prices appearing in this website do not include final cleaning cost of the entire villa to be paid apart in cash to the Owner at a rate of Euro 500,00 up to 12 people for the entire rental period and of Euro 30.00 for any additional guest over 12.
Guests must also pay a security deposit of Euro 800,00, in cash upon arrival to cover possible breakages during the stay. The deposit will be given back to Guests at the departure if no breakage will occur.
Due to recent high increases of energy costs, heating gas must be paid, on actual consumption, directly to the Owner and in addition to the mere Rental Price. Electricity over the standard consumption of 130 KWh per week, must also be paid directly to the Owner in addition to the Rental Price.
A tourist tax of € 1.5 per person per day is levied by the local Municipality and must be collected by the Owner for letting him pay it to the City Hall every 3 months for all guests hosted in that period. This amount is in addition to the rental price and shall be collected by the Owner from the Guests at the arrival.
Once the booking is confirmed through this site, the Owner shall draft and send to the Guest a Letter-Contract containing all terms of the rental deriving from the VRBO booking and including also the above additional terms. A copy of it shall be returned to the Owner duly executed by the Guest.

- "Villa Mila, set in the sleepy town of Villa Bartolomea, is a beautiful house & grounds packed with character and charm in every corner. Even with 29 guests, which included a horde of children, there was plenty of space for us to socialise together or separately without feeling confined or restricted. Due to the really hot and humid weather in August this year, we spent the majority of our time on the veranda or by the pool for alfresco dinning and card playing! The children kept themselves entertained and dispersed across the many rooms within the house, with some playing Console games in the sitting room, others having piano lessons/practice on the mini-grand piano in the music room or pool tournaments on the full-size billiard table. The above ground pool is a good size and depth for cooling off and allowed us to have great fun playing five-a-side volleyball. Unfortunately, there is some standing water near the pool area, so the mosquitoes are rampant. I think we emptied the local supermarket of all their bug sprays and repellents! The villa is a great base to go discover the region, we had several day trips including to Verona, Lake Garda, Montagnana and Ferrara. We also enjoyed local bike rides down the river Adige and local towns on the villas collection of mountain bikes. The town is really sleepy, which added to the charm and to our sense of relaxation. The local facilities were excellent however, with local bakeries, bars, restaurants and a good size supermarket. We had the most fantastic Florentine steak at local Da Battista restaurant, which I would highly recommend and can catering for large groups. Villa Mila was beautiful and charming and provided really great value for money. I would highly recommend it. "

- "Perfect location for multi generation family holiday. Beautiful setting and walkable (c 25min) into Verona. Short taxi to rail station to access trains to Venice, Milan, Lake Garda and many more places." - "A group of five friends stayed two nights at the villa after a week of working the Venice Film Festival and it was just what we needed. It offered the perfect place to relax, plenty of space to spread out yet easy to get to town. Comms with the owner and property manager was very easy and they helped organize a lovely wine tasting at the property. Highly recommend doing this as the gentleman who handled it for our group was amazing! The one piece of advice to the owners or visitors is either provide some bathroom amenities (hand soap, mini shampoo) or be sure to bring your own. In each bathroom there wasn’t even hand soap. Luckily I brought a bar from the previous hotel that we all shared. Otherwise the rooms were comfortable and the views breathtaking. Would definitely go back."
