Although part of a home, it is very private with its own separate entrance. It comes equipped with a king size bed, a fully functional kitchen allowing you to prepare your meals. It also has a designated workspace with reliable wifi to accommodate remote workers and business travelers. The sofa sleeper comes very handy for families traveling with children. -Dearfield Terrace:
Spring to Fall the charming Deerfield Terrace is open for guests to use. (May15-November 15; sometimes mid April if there is no snow fall in the forecast). It has a fire pit and space heaters are available to keep you warm on cooler autumn nights. Very peaceful and cozy space to sip on your morning coffee, do some reading, or simply listen to the sound of nature.

-Scenic rail-trail:
There are a couple of scenic rail-trails nearby if you want to hike, ride your bike or simply go for a walk.

*Maybrook Trailway
*Pine Mountain Hiking trail

-Additional Rules:
*Do not go beyond areas marked "NO TRESPASSING"

*Quiet hours: 9:00pm-7:00am

*Dearfield Terrace: Please don't leave any food or garbage outside or on the terrace. Animals may rip the bags open and strew trash around.

-Maximum occupancy is 4 guests: 2 adults and 2 children 0-10
*Pricing: 2 guests: $350/night
*Additional guest age 0-10 : $100 per night

-Check-in and Checkout:
Early Check-in: Free of charge and based on availability
Late Check-out: $80 per hour from 11:00am-3:00pm. Request must be made at time of booking.

-Mandatory Cleaning Fee of $100. Fees will increase for long stay 7 nights or more.

Cozy one bedroom apartment with separate entrance in historic home located on 11 acres. Property abuts a 32 acre nature preserve with easy access to hiking trails. Pet friendly.

The space
The apartment is a private apartment in my home with a shared wall so you may hear some sounds from my family (just me and my teenage daughter) and pets (who bark when cars enter the driveway) but we try to be respectful of our guests. Also, for those of you with multiple guests, there is a queen bed in the bedroom, the daybed in the living room has a trundle and the loveseat pulls out to an additional twin bed. So the living room area can sleep three additional adults for a total of 5 but it can get a little crowded if you have multiple guests. The bathroom is off of the bedroom so guests in the living room area need to access the bedroom to use the bathroom.

Guest access
The main house was built in 1719 and the property was a sheep farm centuries ago. There is a lovely stream that bisects the property and guests are free to explore the property and use all outdoor furniture.

Cozy and serene one bedroom apartment in the beautiful town of New Fairfield, Connecticut. Has its own private entrance with self check-in process. Full kitchen with all appliances, open space with dining area and living room. Living room has a 50 inch T.V. and a full size sofa bed.

The bedroom has a queen size bed with two drawers a night table and walk-in closet. There is an iron, ironing board and hair dryer inside the closet. There is an additional closet outside the bedroom next to the bathroom. Enjoy your stay at a quiet residential area. Our area is full of relaxing and restorative activities including hiking trails, skiing resorts, Winery's, restaurants, shopping malls and more. We are in close proximity to gas stations, supermarkets and pizza restaurants.

Guests are to park in front of the house, in one of two paved designated spots, and not to enter a private driveway. 1 parking space reserved for any 1 reservation.

When checking out, please leave all washed dishes on the drying rack, and take out the trash. You can find the garbage bins next to the garage doors - Blue is for recycling, and green is for the regular trash.

Guests have to use the stairs (up on the porch and to the second floor) to get inside.

Other things to note
Please be careful taking the cover off the hot tub. It can be folded in half by one person but will take two people to remove the cover. There is a retaining wall behind the hot tub with some loose stones so please be careful and do not remove the cover from that side. It can be removed by standing on the sides of the hot tub and sliding it off toward the retaining wall. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!!
