This one bedroom apartment is on the ground floor of a Queenslander House known as Joan's House. This is apartment 3.
We have ample parking.
Cairns North is just a few minutes to the Esplanade (waterfront) in Cairns city. We are close to all amenities and facilities such as shopping, Tobruk Olympic Swimming Pool, Cruise Terminal, Airport, TAFE, Schools. Botanic Garden and the Hospital.

The space
Joan's House is located at 47 Smith Street, Cairns North 4870. From James Street head south then turn left into Law Street at James Street Coffee and Flower Shop. Go along Law Street and take the last turn left. Joan's House is the yellow (middle) house with the large front lawn. This end of Smith Street is very quiet with a lot of bird life.

The apartment has a dedicated entrance and a sensor light provides very good visibility at night. There are no steps.
The apartment is fully furnished and is comfortable for 2 people. The bedroom has a King Bed and the Sofa in the Lounge can be converted to another bed if required.

Additional furnishings include appliances in the kitchen such as toaster, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, cutlery and crockery. The unit also has a TV and Internet service.

Breakfast is not provided but tea, coffee and 2 bottles of water are complimentary.

The Laundry is shared. It has a washing machine and a dryer. There is an external clothes line. I encourage guests to use the clothes line when drying and washing must be removed on the same day.

There are 2 large friendly dogs who stay separately in their own area.

The unit itself does NOT have an internal washer and drier, the laundry is within the building and is coin operated. Strictly NO pets or animals including service animals. Unit complex is secured with code access at main gate.

In regards to weekly house keeping and providing new towels and linen. This is all done on request. If we don't hear from you we will presume you don't need anything.
Towels, bin bags and toilet paper can be provided every 4 nights directly to guests, house keeping only occurs for bookings 7 nights or longer on the 7th day. If you would like to request house keeping/cleaning of the apartment to occur more frequently, this is available at an extra cost.
Also, we do NOT supply any perishable consumables like cooking oil, tea, coffee, salt, sugar etc.
