The floor had crumbs so it was uncomfortable walking with no shoes on. The shower I had to clean with dish soap because it was filthy. The shower had body hair all around and the shower curtain was on the verge of molding. We checked out the beds and when we inspection the sheets you could tell they weren’t cleaned because where the previous person’s feet were it was dirty with a accumulation of hair and other particles and this was for both beds so we had to wash the sheets. We spent our first night cleaning so we it was liveable for our time there. The unit was cleaner when we left it than when we got there. "

Our home is an older cottage style house that is well maintained and updated with modern amenities, such as air conditioning, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven and high speed internet.

If you are working while traveling there is a work station that includes a desk, adjustable desk chair, and high speed internet suitable for video conferencing/zoom calls.

A full-sized washer and dryer are also available within the unit for guests to use as they need.

Extra blankets, towels, and face cloths are also provided.

This is a completely private upstairs unit. There is no indoor or outdoor access in between upstairs and downstairs units so you have complete privacy.

Please note that the parking for both units is in behind the house to ensure there is ample parking for both units with no risk of either vehicles being blocked in. As such, this does mean that the lower level unit will have access to the back yard ONLY for parking. The lower level unit is also pet friendly so while the main/upstairs unit has back yard and front yard access we do require that all pets are leashed when outside and completely under your control due to the parking area being a shared space. We recommend bringing a long leash to allow you and your pet to enjoy the space of the back yard while ensuring they are also under your control and cannot approach guests in the parking area.

There are many local attractions nearby such as Frenchman's Bay, beautiful beaches, the waterfront trail, restaurants, and shopping. Easily get to downtown Toronto via the Pickering Go-Train station which is a 15 min walk. There are frequent trains that go direct to downtown Toronto in only 40 mins. Or if driving easily get downtown via the nearby 401. Other attractions such as the Toronto Zoo are located within a short 15 minute drive.

We are situated in close proximity to the waterfront of Lake Ontario. A 5min walk to the marina and beach. We are 5mins by car to Pickering Town Center and walking distance to the GO-Train (2kms).

Guests will enjoy a luxurious basement apartment with a private entrance located only steps away from the Pickering beach.

Sleeping: We have designed the space to be peaceful space for (2) but can comfortably sleep groups/families up to (4). With two separate bedrooms equip with (2) wall mounted TVs and wireless phone chargers.

Living : there is a comfortable full size sofa as well as a 65inch smart TV, separate working space with some stationaries.
Patio chairs with a patio table are just outside the door, perfect for soaking up the sun.

Kitchen : We have humbly stocked your separate kitchen with all the basic condiments as well as pots, pans, plates, bowls, dishes and everything we could think of. (Fold up chairs are located inside the closet to accompany the space saving dining table)

Washroom : We supply guests will shampoo & conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, bath towels, and hairdryer.

Guest access
When you enter the Main entrance, the door across from you is the furnace and it will be locked. The door to your right will be your access into your Guest Suite. There will be a key inside the key hole.

Once you are in your Suite. There will be a locked door at the end of the hallway beside the "Dream, Create, Inspire frame.

The door at the top of the stairs will also be locked.

Other things to note
Please remember to remove your shoes while you are in the Suite.
