We are located on a quiet residential street backing onto a forest. We often see forest animals walk by and experience the sights and smells.

Guests do not have access to the rest of the house or the full kitchen. Breakfast is not included.

A $500 pre-authorized hold will be placed on your credit card a few days before check-out for incidentals. This is not a charge—just a temporary hold—and it will be automatically released within a few days after your stay, provided there is no damage or violation of house rules.

- "We found this house to be as advertised. Nice neighborhood and close to both the falls area and Niagra on the Lake. House was clean and well maintained inside, the backyard could be be upgraded with covers for the swing and umbrella stand.The entry door to the area we stayed in is located in the backyard, which was kind of dark when we arrived after midnight. There was a flood light, so it was doable. The sidewalk to the back of the house is a little awkward being that it's stone and paver steps, vs the neighbor house which is concrete and much easier to use. The only negative would be that this is a duplex, and you can hear your neighbors pretty clearly through the walls. We would stay here again if in the area. "

The area is about a 15 minute drive from Niagara on the lake (not a walkable distance) so activity-wise, what’s in the area is primarily just vineyards that are open for visitation (would recommend Ravine Vineyard Estate). We did get locked out at one point due to an issue with the electric lock, but the owner was responsive and helped us asap. "

PLEASE NOTE: We have a large breed dog who lives here with us. He’s well-behaved, but also getting used to having strangers around the property. We won’t leave him unattended outside during your stay, but please do not pet him if you see him, he doesn't like to be touched by strangers. We will do our best to keep him quiet; he's not a very vocal guy but has his moments as he's still young. You will hear him from time to time when he's going about his normal dogo things.

We have a fire pit in our yard, but respectfully ask that there be no fires.

The West Loft, is located at the front of the Old Fire Hall building and faces 4-Mile Creek Road. It is newly built, features contemporary design, amenities and furnishings, and has the added feature of a 3-piece ensuite with one of the two bedrooms. Both East and West lofts are accessed through a side entrance and stairs to a common landing and separate keyed entry.

You have access to all parking surrounding the Fire Hall. Access to the building and your loft is by keyboard. A wide stairway (see pictures) leads to a common landing and keypads give you access to your Loft. The main floor bakery provides baked goods, deserts, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and specialty pastas and sauces on an Italian theme. And hot Panninis for lunch!
