- "my brother and I stayed here for two nights to attend a Bills game. Location was perfect. The neighborhood was not sketchy and very well lit. Able to walk to local restaurants. The people in the upstairs apartment were loud at times but didnt hear them the second night. Apartment was cleaned and pictures were accurate. It also gets a little sketchy because they’re upstairs neighbors that are noisy through out the night and there are doors that are supposed to have locks on them, but seem to stay open sometimes when you’re not supposed to. Location, location, location!! This is a monthly rental, month-to-month. Executive style living near Hamlin Park Beauty! Centrally located off Main Street and on the prettiest village street steps away from Hamlin Park, the Roycroft, cafés, restaurants, boutique shops, Vidlers, salons, breweries, cider house, bakeries, gyms, theaters, toy store, you name it we are within walking distance to the entire village. Every amenity inside and outside from end to end, there is a long list of things to enjoy. Soak in the soaking tub or enjoy a walkin spa shower. Village shopping is fantastic with many small retail stores as well as some high-end named stores sprinkled in. Of course the very heart of EA has to be Vidler's 5 and 10 store. The largest of its kind in the world. A trip to Vidler's is always a high point of any visit to Western New York. It is awesome. Along the one mile Main St, you will come to historic buildings, like home where President Millard Fillmore and his wife lived, historic churches, many of which are loaded with amazing Tiffany stained glass windows, the Roycroft Campus, the beginning of the Arts and Crafts movement in America, is another popular tourist destination and is located on Main Street. The 1925 Aurora Theater at 673 Main Street has one of the best neon movie marquees in the the region. They also have comfy reclining seats and a gourmet popcorn shop. The smell of the popcorn on the sidewalk is a perfect touch for this amazing Main Street Adventure.

Please note, in light of the recent Social Distancing recommendations (per CDC guidelines), we are leaving the apartment empty for at least three days between guests, to allow the apartment to refresh between visits. Of course, we thoroughly clean after each visitor, using an anti-bacterial cleaner. The entrance is specific to the Apartment, so no need to share a door.

Also, besides our normal high temperature laundering, we have spare pillows and a spare comforter, to alternate, allowing more time between users.

We've fully remodeled our 1 bedroom apartment! It's right in the center of what's happening in the village, and surrounded by a great selection of restaurants, pubs, a brewery!, sushi, a bakery, many galleries, museums, Fisher Price Toys! - all within a short walk. There can also be found great skiing, hiking, and biking nearby. Our ice rink is just down the street!

We've thoroughly updated the apartment in our 1860's mercantile building, with a gorgeous shower, completely modern kitchen, and a roomy bedroom (with king size bed, of course!)
East Aurora is a unique village, with a well known history in western New York - Elbert Hubbard and his Roycrofters brought East Aurora to fame in the early 1900's Arts and Crafts Movement. With the restoration of the Roycroft Inn and many of the original buildings of the Roycroft Campus, East Aurora has seen a nice resurgence overall. It's a great little village to explore, with many galleries, museums, restaurants and pubs, plus a nice selection of small retail shops.
Outdoor activities are abundant... We can direct you to great parks in the area, primitive or not, for hiking and biking, or simply picnicking with a bottle of wine!
