- "my brother and I stayed here for two nights to attend a Bills game. Location was perfect. The neighborhood was not sketchy and very well lit. Able to walk to local restaurants. The people in the upstairs apartment were loud at times but didnt hear them the second night. Apartment was cleaned and pictures were accurate. The surrounding buildings don’t really seem like the most clean or up-to-date so It just kind of gives off a sketchy vibe. once inside the actual apartment itself is pretty clean, but there are some damages to it where faucets don’t turn off or doors do not lock correctly. It also gets a little sketchy because they’re upstairs neighbors that are noisy through out the night and there are doors that are supposed to have locks on them, but seem to stay open sometimes when you’re not supposed to. On the plus side it is fairly close to a lot of things like malls and Niagara Falls and just parks so you definitely can go out and come back in a reasonable amount of time, but it simply just wasn’t the best experience that we’ve had. Location, location, location!! This is a monthly rental, month-to-month. Executive style living near Hamlin Park Beauty! Centrally located off Main Street and on the prettiest village street steps away from Hamlin Park, the Roycroft, cafés, restaurants, boutique shops, Vidlers, salons, breweries, cider house, bakeries, gyms, theaters, toy store, you name it we are within walking distance to the entire village. Every amenity inside and outside from end to end, there is a long list of things to enjoy. Soak in the soaking tub or enjoy a walkin spa shower. Village shopping is fantastic with many small retail stores as well as some high-end named stores sprinkled in. Of course the very heart of EA has to be Vidler's 5 and 10 store. The largest of its kind in the world. A trip to Vidler's is always a high point of any visit to Western New York. It is awesome. Along the one mile Main St, you will come to historic buildings, like home where President Millard Fillmore and his wife lived, historic churches, many of which are loaded with amazing Tiffany stained glass windows, the Roycroft Campus, the beginning of the Arts and Crafts movement in America, is another popular tourist destination and is located on Main Street. The 1925 Aurora Theater at 673 Main Street has one of the best neon movie marquees in the the region. They also have comfy reclining seats and a gourmet popcorn shop. The smell of the popcorn on the sidewalk is a perfect touch for this amazing Main Street Adventure.

Please note, in light of the recent Social Distancing recommendations (per CDC guidelines), we are leaving the apartment empty for at least three days between guests, to allow the apartment to refresh between visits. Of course, we thoroughly clean after each visitor, using an anti-bacterial cleaner. The entrance is specific to the Apartment, so no need to share a door.

Also, besides our normal high temperature laundering, we have spare pillows and a spare comforter, to alternate, allowing more time between users.

We've fully remodeled our 1 bedroom apartment! It's right in the center of what's happening in the village, and surrounded by a great selection of restaurants, pubs, a brewery!, sushi, a bakery, many galleries, museums, Fisher Price Toys! - all within a short walk. There can also be found great skiing, hiking, and biking nearby. Our ice rink is just down the street!

We've thoroughly updated the apartment in our 1860's mercantile building, with a gorgeous shower, completely modern kitchen, and a roomy bedroom (with king size bed, of course!)
East Aurora is a unique village, with a well known history in western New York - Elbert Hubbard and his Roycrofters brought East Aurora to fame in the early 1900's Arts and Crafts Movement. With the restoration of the Roycroft Inn and many of the original buildings of the Roycroft Campus, East Aurora has seen a nice resurgence overall. It's a great little village to explore, with many galleries, museums, restaurants and pubs, plus a nice selection of small retail shops.
Outdoor activities are abundant... We can direct you to great parks in the area, primitive or not, for hiking and biking, or simply picnicking with a bottle of wine!

There is no yard access with this apartment, but it has a lovely back porch that overlooks the back property which includes a small organic blueberry patch. If you're an early riser, you'll likely see deer, maybe some sheep if they escaped from our neighbor, and if you're very lucky, a family of foxes.

One bedroom with queen bed and a full sofa (not a pull out) in kitchen area with extra blankets for an additional quest. Kitchen is a studio kitchen with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven.

Other things to note
Parking is a bit tricky but not impossible. The best thing to do is park on Main Street. It is free and safe. It is fine to park on Main Street overnight. You can also park on Main Street during the day but street signs say two hour maximum during business hours. I have never seen this monitored but I understand if you’re uncomfortable parking on Main all day. There are two free village parking lots close by. One is behind 42 North Brewing Company on Pine street. The other is behind the Aurora Theater on Main Street. Both lots are about two blocks away.
You can park in public lots all day but the car should be moved to Main Street for overnight.

(Please note, from November 15th thru April 1st there is no overnight public parking available. This is due to snow removal requirements). Guests somehow figure a place to park over night during the winter months. If you need assistance, I can provide some guidance.

The space
Located in the heart of the village, with blazing fast wifi is our quaint, trendy, newly renovated, lower level (must be able to make stairs), open concept apartment with new stainless steel appliances and high end furnishings. This 3 family monthly rental, Sears & Roebuck Catalog home built in 1941, was one of the last to be built during the Depression. Provided are linens, starter toiletries, soap, shampoo, coffee, tea. Maximum 4 guests and parking for one car.

We have a loyalty program for returned guests. The apartment has a bedroom with queen bed and queen Murphy bed next to the living room area. The queen Murphy bed is located at the extended living room and can be used as a 2nd bedroom. Privacy panel drapery exists. Please feel free to use the gardens. We hope you enjoy your stay! Must have 4☆ or better in order to book. No pets, smoking, or vaping on the property. Lit candles are not allowed.

Walk along the back of the house by wooden gate and enter door next to a/c. Head downstairs to access the garden level apartment. There are two exits in the apartment, a lot of natural light and ambiance, 3 outdoor living spaces, BBQ Grill, and tandem kayak for your pleasure. Must be able to make stairs. Feel free to use the gardens.

Other things to note
A queen Murphy bed is located at the extended living room and can be converted to a 2nd bedroom. Privacy panel drapery exists. This apartment is garden level. Maximum of 4 guests and parking limited to one car. No smoking or pets on premises.

Centrally located in the heart of East Aurora, this loft style apartment is one of one! That means the entire top floor of the building is yours and completely private. This unit features 2 bedrooms (king and queen beds) and 2 full bathrooms. You’ll enjoy the high end finishes and A+ views overlooking the village. This home is large so there is privacy. Feels like 2 apartments in one if you’re traveling with friends or children to have your own space, separate bathrooms etc!

The space
The front of the apartment is much like a master suite. There is a living room, bathroom, wet bar/coffee bar area and the master with his/hers closets and a king size bed. The second bedroom is in the back half of the apartment, large bedroom with a separate living room/ sitting area outside that bedroom near the full kitchen. Each bedroom feels a lot like its own apartment which is great for privacy traveling with others.

Access includes the entire apartment with exception only to the far back storage room which is locked.

We thoroughly remodeled our beautiful apartment, with a large bedroom & a spacious high-ceilinged kitchen / living room! It's right in the center of what's happening in the village, and it's surrounded by a great selection of restaurants, pubs, a brewery!, a bakery, many galleries, museums, Fisher Price Toys! - all within a short walk. There can also be found great skiing, hiking, and biking nearby.

The space
Please note, in light of the recent social distancing recommendations (CDC guidelines), we are leaving the apartment empty for at least three days between guests, to allow the apartment to refresh between visits. Of course, we thoroughly clean after each visitor, using an anti-bacterial cleaner. Note also. the apartment has a private entrance.
Also, besides our normal high temperature laundering, we have spare pillows and a spare comforter, to allow more time between uses.

We've thoroughly updated the apartment in our 1860's mercantile building, with a gorgeous shower, completely modern kitchen, new appliances, and a roomy bedroom (with king size bed, of course!). It provides the comfort and privacy you like, with a private entrance off Main Street, and with large bright windows overlooking East Aurora's bustling Main Street.

Our apartment is self-contained, with a private front entrance from Main St. The apartment is above our clothing store, so easy access to us if you have any questions.
Parking - We have parking directly behind the building, and there's a large village parking lot in back as well.
