- "I don’t typically leave reviews but as a person who relies on reviews when booking accommodations I thought mine may be helpful. First off unfortunately there was a mixup and we were given the wrong apartment and were not able to switch due to no vacancy in the unit. After discussing with the host they offered some solutions that were appreciated. The apartment was just as beautiful and large as in the pictures. It’s decorated with quality furniture and great design. The biggest issue is the location. It’s on a very busy side road that’s also set back from the 302 highway making it extremely loud. We could hear traffic the entire time. It’s also not a well soundproofed building so we could literally hear a pin drop from the people staying above us. We were woken up very early in the am due to the kids upstairs. I’d recommend earplugs or a noise machine. In our apartment one of the mattresses was extremely comfortable whereas the other very hard. The value for the apartment is very good given it’s space and vibe but if you are wanting a peaceful, quiet stay I would not recommend due to noise and location. I will also add the morning we were about to leave we turned on the ac and it was not working. It was not a big deal as we were checking out shortly after but thought I would mention. On a positive the hosts were quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. All in all the pictures are accurate but I’d prefer something quieter and within walking distance to the restaurants. "

Our three children slept in the spare room but in their own beds which they appreciated The unit has lots of space.and there’s a great commercial area nearby you can access tons of meal options. The kitchen in the unit was decently stocked as well. One of the washrooms wasn’t functioning while we were there but the other two full baths worked great.thanks for opening your space up for us. We had an amazing time."

We currently have 4 permanent beds set up. We're happy to provide two extra full-size beds upon request at no additional cost. Simply inform us in advance, and we'll ensure they're arranged in any room of your choice before you arrive.

- "Our party consisted of 3 adult couples staying for a week. The condo felt very spacious and was quite clean. We did find three of the four beds to be overly firm. That of course is a personal preference and not meant as a critique but just a heads up. The kitchen contained everything needed to prepare meals. The pool area and beach were beautifully maintained and just steps away. We found there were plenty of chairs, loungers and palapas at both locations at all times so no getting up early to reserve them. Contact with the property manager for the most part was quick but there was an instance where a response had to be prompted after 24 hours and one not acknowledged at all. As the owner indicates this is a secure gated community and has a number of stores and restaurants and is quite self contained. We found things to be a bit pricier for that convenience. Right outside the main gate, though is a cheaper GoMart and just down the highway (about a 20 min walk from the condo) are two large grocery stores where you can mingle with the local populace if you are so inclined. Overall our experience in this beautiful, quiet community was quite positive and left us with great memories. Thank you Anna for sharing it with us."

The bed spread was stained, a chair was broken, the shower head need to be cleaned and the shower needs some mold cleaned. The refrigerator has spots all over, and some cabinet doors need to be adjusted/ fixed. While the host was nice the emails were confusing. I was given two different lock box codes."

GATHERINGS:
We know you are coming to Playa del Carmen to have a good time, but out of respect to the other travelers, this condo has a strict “No Party” policy.

QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.

SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your room during your reservation period.

MINIMUM AGE:
By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a contract. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 11am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.
Electricity is not included in stays over 20 nights. This fee will be charged every month or a day before check-out in stays shorter than a month. In this case, you pay for what you consume based on a $6 MXN (pesos) fee per KW. *Please help us save energy by using the AC wisely and keeping the temperature maximum at 23°C and turning off the AC and lights when you leave the property.

- "This listing and management company is not worth the time and effort nor the headaches if you are looking for a vacation spot to relax. While the pictures provide a well kept and well managed property, they are anything but! The first time in 20 years of going to Mexico and renting units have I ever been confronted by a rental agency/company that decided to actually hinder and work against their renter. The company, “Hamaca Homes”, hides behind animosity, never providing names when looking for details/answers or looking to work with them; they keep referencing “this is our policy” and are unwilling to assist even with the simplest requests; delay information and provide the bare minimum answers and solutions to all; charge the fees yet provide nothing in return. Had to get VRBO involved twice to get basic responses. The unit is anything but what is presented in the pictures. It is very worn, musty, unkept, dirty and unsafe. The quality of the kitchen amenities is unsafe to eat from, dirty towels/sheets, horrible beds, filthy bathrooms. I have stayed at better quality hostels then this unit. While chatting with the other owners in the complex, they mentioned that every renter that stays in this unit has had issues and was generally dissatisfied with the condition and the response of the feeble management company. If you are looking for a vacation rental where you can go and relax, stress free – this is not the unit for you!"

The space
Enjoy the surroundings in the private garden, swim in our pool and wake up to the sound of birdsong. Cook your favorite meals in the equipped kitchen or explore the delicious local cuisine. Just 15 minutes from the beach and with all the amenities you need! We have excellent internet service for remote work.

Guest access
You will enjoy a beautiful pool in our building, surrounded by vegetation with partial views of the golf course. The garden and pool are shared. As it is a condominium with only 6 apartments, it is not usually crowded.

Access to the Puerto Aventuras beach is nearby, it is free and open to any resident of this wonderful complex, although you can also use the facilities of the Beach Club of the Puerto Aventuras hotel, paying for an accessible Day Pass. If you like outdoor exercise, you can tour the entire complex, go to the golf and tennis club or simply enjoy the surroundings of the Complex.

Other things to note
Puerto Aventuras Complex is a gated community that has it all, you will find restaurants, bars, pharmacies, ATM, yacht marina, a beautiful and quiet beach, 9 holes golf course, raquet club and even a dolphinarium. You can move around walking within the complex is very safe, rent a golf cart, scooter or in your own car. The supermarket is less than 5 minutes.

There is NO designated parking space for this unit, but you can park near the building on the street or in a small open parking lot at the end of the street. (always subject to availability and we have no influence).

After the first 48 hours of making your reservation (any reduction in dates will be considered a cancellation subject to the contracted policies)

Access to the Puerto Aventuras Beach Club (not included with accommodation) is available to the general public by paying Day Pass per person.

We can offer you a private driver from the airport to the house at an additional cost.
Transportation service from the airport to the house (ROUND TRIP/SINGLE, approx. 80 minutes away) we can send you our driver with the following rates:

Our Lodge offers a confortable dining area with sofa and a small library, equipped kitchen with gas stove), microwave, toaster, mixer, fridge, table with 4 chairs, pots, cutlery, oil, salt, sugar and welcome kit with coffee and some different kind of teas.
The garden and pool view bedroom has king size bed, cable tv, safe, air conditioning, ceiling fan, closet and your private bathroom with shower.
We offer you optic fiber wifi (20mbs)

The only area you will share with us (we leave here) is the swimming pool area.
The unit is attached to our home, we have a dog named Golia and a baby boy, Enea.

Puerto Aventuras is a closed-door community, it is required to share an official identification to get access

The loft is located in a privileged location, a 5-minute walk from the beach, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, shops and more.

Inside the building you will have 2 jacuzzis, terrace, grill area and pool in a shared area.

This studio is the only one in the building that overlooks the pool and canal, where you can go out to your own terrace and enjoy an exceptional view.

The space
Tao Nautico, is a studio with a kitchenette, and a King bed and a very nice bathroom, perfect place to enjoy your vacations!
It has an incredible view and direct access to the pool overlooking the canal, very few apartments in the building have that view. It has a prime location within Puerto Aventuras where you can go to places like the beach, and restaurants walking!
We have bike rental per day, please ask me about more information.

Beach time options: You can get a day pass to the Puerto Aventuras Beach Club, or visit the public beach right next door. Both options let you enjoy the beautiful shoreline of Puerto Aventuras!
