- "This space was perfect for my family of four. The kids loved climbing up to the loft and slept great in the comfy king bed. My wife and I slept well too once we were sure the kids had the hang of the steps. The back deck was a delightful place to sit and wait out a rainstorm. The exit to the pool was steep and the little spiral staircase was covered in bird droppings so that was the only access issue we faced but the kids had so much fun indoors they never used the pool anyway beyond the initial exploration. The pool is deep and the edge is high up from up the water so small kids may have trouble reaching anything other than the ladder. The location was excellent, easy walking to everywhere we wanted to go including the bus stops. Management was responsive and friendly. No hassles checking in or out. Would certainly recommend the place to a friend and would stay there again. "

**Cozy apartment – Close to the Action!**

Our studio apartment is ideally situated just 4 blocks from the vibrant Duval Street and 3 blocks from the Historic Seaport Marina.

It has a king-size bed for a restful night's sleep, 2 comfortable living room couches, a kitchenette and a basic (a bit outdated) private bathroom.

Step outside to your private porch, surrounded by lush gardens and swaying palm trees. Enjoy the tranquility of our lively street while still being close to all the action.

The space
Old Conch house from 1890, build by a ship captain and part of a Key West family for decades. We were so lucky to buy this house and live our Key West dream. Tineke and Chris live in the back of the house, the upper floor is rented to two locals.

Guest access
From the porch with seating area you enter the apartment. The studio consists of a living room with Kitchenette (not a full kitchen) and open entry to the sleeping area with King size bed. From the sleeping area there is a door to a separate basic shower, toilet and washroom. The living and sleeping area have 2 ceiling fans, a window AC and an extra separate AC next to the bed. The apartment is accessible with an code for easy checkin.

Other things to note
The house has 2 apartments upstairs and one in the back (where we live). It is the perfect location if you prefer to be close to the action, but prefer to stay in a quieter space. The bathroom is basic, as is the kitchenette.

Bicycles can be rented 2 blocks away, the launderette is 2 blocks away. Read our guide for access to the beach, pools and our favorite spots.
