Our maid service comes prior to your visit to ensure the home is cleaned from top to bottom! Then she will clean after your departure.

How do I get around Puerto Aventuras?

The marina where all the shops and restaurants are is only a 10-15 minute walk from the house! We also have 5 bikes for exploring as well as many options for golf cart rentals in the PA marina area.

Do you have a hot tub?

Technically yes we do but unfortunately it is often in and out of maintenance issues. If it's working during your stay, wonderful, but we are not listing it as an amenity at this time.

This lovely spacious Mexican Colonial-style Villa has a wonderful atmosphere of both old and new. You are welcomed with a lovely and elegant rod iron gated entrance and a front courtyard with a romantic and soothing water fountain. In the courtyard there is a separate building that houses two large, private bedroom suites with ensuite bathrooms. As you walk into this lovely Villa you have a lovely view of the private back yard pool, deck area and tropical garden heading out to the golf course. It was hot in the main areas without air conditioning but our group managed it fine. The bedrooms are very well air conditioned. The location was perfect. ***Warning Catering with Valerie*** She cancelled our catering 3 days prior to arrival because I was upset that she wanted me to pay for catering for 3,4,5 year old children who I knew were not going to eat what we ordered. She said "I was lucky she was only going to charge me half price. Usually she charges full price." I said if I am paying for them I want the food that is left over because I know they are not going to eat it. Apparently this didn't sit well with her and she cancelled 3 days before we arrived, even though I had paid in full. It was so disappointing and so poorly handled! Don't trust her!!! Fortunately, PA Catering was able to step in and supply us with great food. We loved the quesadillas and the Mayan Luau. Other than Valerie, our stay was amazing!"

The impressive entrance into Villa Maravilla is very welcoming with its own fountain in the courtyard. You will enjoy the feeling of both Mexican Colonial architecture and modern living. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a center work island and a kitchen counter bar that sits 5. An elegant dining room right off the kitchen has a beautiful view of the backyard patio, private swimming pool and a view of the Puerto Aventuras golf course. The living room/TV room has lots of seating space for all your traveling group to gather. The spacious living room is also facing the beautiful back yard/pool area. There is a full bathroom on the main floor and a main floor bedroom with a king size bed. It has its own balcony facing the courtyard.

On the second floor are 3 more beautiful bedrooms each having their own private balconies. The master bedroom is an experience in its self. Very large with an amazing bathroom. All three 2nd floor bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. One bathroom has a jetted hot tub while another bathroom has a shower with two rainforest shower heads. All the bathrooms have beautiful marble throughout. The comfortable king size beds and lovely linens are a dream to sleep in.

The 5th bedroom has its own entrance way separate from the main Villa. It is located in the courtyard. This bedroom studio has its own kitchenette and marble ensuite bathroom. There are two single beds that are put together to make a king bed and a single bed. It is the perfect bedroom if you wish to have your own space.

The Villa has beautiful woodwork throughout the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Gorgeous marble, rod iron, and arched wooden doors have been used throughout the Villa.

You can enjoy watching dolphins while you eat lunch. Everyone was so friendly and nice including Carlos, the property manager. We had a hard time getting a can one day and he got it arranged for us, no problem. Lorraine/Lars were also amazing answering all my questions leading up to the trip. We’re going to do everything we can to come back next year and stay at a different property of theirs. I highly recommend this place!"
