Surroundings
The Goldgrube-Rauris lies on the outskirts of the village of Bucheben. Wonderfully quiet, low-traffic, audible silence but rich in opportunities for a nice summer vacation or a snow-sure winter vacation. Hiking, skiing, biking, cross-country skiing, swimming, tobogganing, horseback riding, winter hiking, excursions, skiing tours. The gold mine is the perfect starting point for a wide range of excursions in the area.

The Rauris Valley was one of the world centers of gold mining in the Middle Ages. Everywhere you can still find traces of that time. The house is built on the spot where the last professional gold washer went about his craft. Today the house owes its nickname to this activity.

The separate double room is equipped with a wardrobe, bedside table lights and radio. There is a pull-out coach in the living room.
In the kitchen you will find 4 hot plates, an oven, a fridge with freezer, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, microwave. Also in the kitchen there is a corner with a dining table.
Of course there is a shower / toilet.
If required (and availability) you can rent an extra double room with shower and toilet at € 15 per night.

On the terrace you can enjoy the view and have breakfast in the morning or end the day in the evening.

- "Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt - ein paar Meter raus aus dem warmen Schikeller auf die Piste, zur Schischule. Der Ort ist etwa in 5-7 min. ganz bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal ist äußerst bemüht, freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit (iPad Ladekabel vergessen, ganze Woche ausgeborgt). Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet. An der Küche hat nichts gefehlt, um sich auch ein leckeres Essen zu machen. Der Poolbereich ist sowohl für Klein, alsauch Groß sehr schön gemacht, funktionell und gemütlich. Auch das Restaurant ("Albert") ist zu empfehlen. Sehr nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen, ... auch das abholen hat suuuuper funktioniert und kann manchmal praktisch sein. All in All - eine (für uns) perfekte Unterkunft (4-Erwachsene, 2 kleine Kinder). Ein Föhn irgendwo in der Nähe des Poolbereich wäre wünschenswert."
