Other than that, the property is in a great location, was clean, the concierge was super helpful and friendly. The unit itself was clean and equipped with all we needed. The pantry on the first floor was a wonderful added bonus. Just being able to grab a few things in the morning and a quick coffee was delightful before heading out to explore. This is a gorgeous one bedroom flat in the heart of London just a stones throw from the Southbank in Waterloo.
The flat is extremely well located for walking along the river to the Tate modern or Borough market or you can hop on the underground at Waterloo which is a 4min walk away to access the Jubilee, Northern and Bakerloo lines as well as the overground rail network.
The flat has everything you need from bedding and towels to cooking essentials, coffee maker and large screen wifi TV. Of course we also have central heating and AC in the bedroom for the summer months.
There is also a cute outdoor space which is private to the flat.

The main shopping areas of the West End, Bond street, Oxford street are only 9 minutes away by underground. On the south side of the river Thames, opposite the City of London and neighbouring South Bank and London Bridge; Bankside's central location makes Bankside extremely accessible, served by major rail and underground connections at London Bridge, Waterloo, Southwark and Blackfriars. The new Blackfriars' Station southern entrance provides direct access to Bankside. The Jubilee line and the river services provide a fast way of getting you to and from the West End, whilst you'll find buses offer a great alternative, with frequent services and lots of routes. But the best way to explore London is on foot!

There are also a huge number of casual restaurants from tapas bars, Italian open kitchen, oyster bars, sushi and fish restaurants, contemporary Indian, French brasseries, Greek and Turkish eateries and many more. On Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays Borough Market is open and hundreds of food stands sell the best of British and international foods to eat there or take away. The there are the many cafes and cake shops. It's definitely a foodie's paradise! And around the markets are some wonderful old pubs like The George which is London's only surviving galleried coaching inn.

The spacious living room features a comfortable sofa, a wide-screen TV to watch all your favourite shows, a work desk, and a dining table for four where you can eat with loved ones.
The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped with essential cookware and cutleries you'll need to cook delicious meals, such as a stove, an oven and a coffee machine.
There are two bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a heavenly king-sized bed, and the second has a double bed. All beds come with complimentary hotel-quality linens for maximum comfort.

Frankie Says that you have to stay in Borough, as it arguably one of Central London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods; a totally gorgeous and immersive 'melting pot' that is famous for its gastronomic and cultural delights.
Bordered by the Thames to the north, you are also next to the incredible Southwark Cathedral and the historic Clink Street. But importantly, you are ridiculously close to the complete foodie heaven that is Borough Market. This is the original Food Hall experience, but with worldwide punching power – you will never be hungry for boredom!
Just a few minutes away is what Frankie Says is the coolest High street in London – Bermondsey Street. Packed full of coffee, pints, food, wine, cakes and much intrigue. Old world charm meets a crisp modern England. Next door to Bermondsey Street is Maltby Street market, another haven for foodies, whilst you must promise to visit the Vinegar Market on a Sunday – its packed is unique oddities.
To the back of our funky house is the ground-breaking Borough Yards, a recent development that saw railway arches turned into a clutch of dining and shopping experiences, with even it’s own Everyman cinema!
You can see the Shard from our terrace, so take a trip up to the top, to London’s best viewing gallery, and look down up Tower Bridge, Shad Thames and The Tower of London, all that are just a quick walk away.
We know you will be star struck by this pocket of London. It’s unrivalled in our opinion, authentic and original, but modern and smooth. But just in case you want to explore elsewhere then pop down to the Jubilee line underground station, only 190m away, at London Bridge station. Or hop on an Uber boat at London Bridge Pier. But, you’re be back to Borough before you know it…Borough always drags you back.

Getting around Borough and London Bridge? It’s a walk in the park! Start at London Bridge Station (Jubilee or Northern Line), where you can catch the iconic view of the Shard. Fancy food? Borough Market has enough grub to make your stomach do a happy dance. History? Visit the medieval Southwark Cathedral or cross the Thames to check out Tower Bridge. For a bit of drama, stand on London Bridge and pretend you're in a thriller as the city pulses below you. Who’s got time for dull commutes? Not you!

The apartment is set in the heart of London Bridge, 2 minutes from the World-famous Borough Market and Flat Iron Square which both provide food and drink from all over the world. The high street itself has numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. The Shard, Tate Modern and South Bank are all within easy walking distance. Perfect for visiting other parts of London too with it's close proximity to public transport routes.
There is no street parking in the area, but there are paid car parks nearby. Public transport links are excellent! You are two minutes walk from London Bridge Underground Station and local bus routes, five minutes walk from London Bridge National Rail station. Ubers in the area are plentiful and quick.
Please note that we don't allow more than 4 adults to stay, or any sofa sleeping unless we've expressly agreed it in advance. All of our apartments are strictly no smoking throughout.

There are famous theatres, you’re never more than a brisk walk away from wonderful pubs dating back to medieval times, and it’s home to Borough Market, the Tate Modern and Europe’s tallest building, The Shard. The added appeal of Borough to those living or working in the area is the proximity to London Bridge and Waterloo. The area has a diverse population, with a large creative community, City workers and long time residents all coexisting, attracted by the wide range of properties available. Cleaning and Linen Fees: Our fees reflect courteous guest use (cleaning up, storing dishes, and leaving the space as found). This is a residence, not a hotel, and an unreasonable mess will result in an additional cleaning fee of up to £800. The apartment will be professionally cleaned before your stay, though airflow and settling may naturally introduce dust particles prior to your arrival.

The 8th option is for a child. The sofa can accommodate three young children and also there is a travel cot for a child under 15 kg, available on request.
For our little guests we also have a high chair, a royal toilet seat and a step ladder, available on request at the time of booking. And toys for all ages from Montessori toys for infants to fun family board games.

❄️Regarding AC, important to mention that in the UK, central AC systems or those with external condensers that work well and standard across the USA/Europe are NOT permitted in appartments due to building, fire and leasehold regulations. That’s the reason you won’t find any residential building with them and any listed Airbnb home with AC listed is portable or internal condenser one, which don’t cool as much as those external condenser ones we see abroad.
We provide the best possible alternative for cooling which is portable ACs and portable silent fans (total of five), remote controlled and with speed/timer setting, so a few of them which you can move as per your needs to stay cool. The silent fans are only ~20db (AC is normally 60-70db) so great for sleeping , especially if you like white noise. This has been sufficient for our other guests in the usual British summer weather which is normally 22-26 C.
In our new built flats we also have HVAC system, which acts as a ventilation and can be run 24/7.

There are two bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a heavenly king-sized bed, and the second has a double bed. All beds come with complimentary hotel-quality linens for maximum comfort.
The bathrooms have all the basic amenities, including clean towels and complimentary toiletries for your convenience.
The apartment is always professionally cleaned and strategically sanitized for your safety.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum of £300 for the smoking fee.
We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without a refund) and may involve a security team to evict you.
