With only about 20 min drive to Borgholm there is a large selection of restaurants, shops and other amusements. The nearest grocery store is about 1 mile north.

Public swimming is available in Kårehamn about 1 mile south on the eastern side of Öland. On the west side there is Djupvik about 6 km from the property.

The space
The guest house next to the main house is for rent, but not the main house. There is an associated bathroom/toilet next to the sleeping and kitchen area. The sleeping/kitchen area is about 8 sqm, i.e. limited space but contains a bunk bed, table and two chairs, a bench next to the bed where there is a smaller refrigerator, microwave and kettle.
Municipal drinking water is available in the shower area but not in the sleeping/kitchen area.
Since there are cattle around the property, it is important that the gate closes after any car is brought in.

Welcome to a cozy accommodation near Borgholm, Alvaret and Solliden. You will stay in a nice farmhouse on a shared plot.
Alvaret is available within a ten-minute walk where Slottsruinen and Solliden are located.
It is about 3 km to Borgholm's bustling city life. Bicycles are available to borrow. There is a bike path to town.
The cottage is 16 m2 and the balcony 8 m2.
The cottage has a fridge, microwave and kettle.
Bathroom (toilet and bathtub) and access to water are available in the host's home with a separate entrance.

The cottage has two comfortable beds and a sofa bed. Plates, glasses and cutlery are in a cupboard. There are blackout curtains in the cottage that are just above the windows.

Bicycles are available in the woodshed as well as kubb, tennis and badminton rack, dartboard and various games. Free to use according to the wishes of guests.

You will receive 2 keys upon arrival. One to the cabin as well as one for the entrance to the bathroom. The entrance to the bathroom is at the far end of the large stone house through the blue double glass/wooden door. Distance about 40 m. Djupvik is characterized by a long rocky coast with fantastic cycling and hiking trails. The guest house is about 80 meters from the beach and has a wonderful view of the water. In the evenings, you can enjoy amazing sunsets. There are 2 patios, east and west-facing.
To the swimming jetty, it is about 300 meters. Restaurant Elise is open in Djupvik during the summer. Approximately 6 km to grocery store and restaurants.

The space
Next to our villa, in a separate part of the garden, this gem is surrounded by flowers. The cottage is newly built and located in a viewing garden in the old inner city part of Borgholm. It can't be more central! One block from Storgatan, from the harbor, from the square, from Socitetsparken, from swimming.......
Within 150 m you reach 12 restaurants and several cafes and ice cream bars.

You live close to several different child and adult-friendly baths. Either you choose sandy beach, indoor pool or pool outside. On several of these baths, the day ends with afterbeach and swinging music.

Want to play golf, tennis or padel? We have both indoor and outdoor courts both for padel and tennis 5 mins walk away.

For your young children, there's a new nice playground just a stone's throw away. “The ship” was inaugurated in 2019.

If you get tired of city life, you may catch the Prinssessan Estelle's path through Slottsskogen and up on the alvaret. Maybe to visit Solliden garden, eat at Höjden, see the beautiful ruins or just enjoy the tranquility.

You can also rent a bike and maybe bike to Köpingsvik's fantastic bath 4 km away.

Our garden is sometimes open to screenings. You will find that it is quite unusual. Garden friends like it! There are no grassy areas but big plantings and unusual trees. However, there is both a brand new playground (summer 2019) and a large park 2 minutes from the plot, with different activities for children with running in their legs.

This Beach House for 2 people is located at one of the most beautiful sand beaches in Sweden, the stunning Byrum-Sandvik on Öland. Watch the sunset over the ocean and the island of the Blue Virgin (Blå Jungfrun). Walking distance to the unique rock formations "Raukarna". Swimming, Hiking, biking, jogging at your door step. Many golf courses nearby. The guest house is located on a large property about 80 meters from the water and 20 meters from the main house, which is occasionally occupied.

The guest house sits on the beach, overlooking the Baltic Sea in Byrum on North Oland. The whole property consists of sand and pine trees, with plenty of open space. In addition to your guest house, the property has a main house that is occasionally occupied. This is a great summer destination if you love beach and nature. You can get all of the different nature aspects that Öland has to offer within walking distance - sand beaches, rauks (rock formations), pine forest, birch forest, the "alvar" (barren lime stone), ocean. Close to stores, restaurants and other amenities. It is also a great quiet space for a fall visit.
