This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Walking distance to a convenient store, and two restaurants. Short walk to the bike trail. Close to the Home of the Harwich Mariners baseball, a Cape Cod Baseball League team, field. Walking distance to Brooks Park which has summer concerts, craft fairs and other activities. Short drive to local beaches (daily passes can be purchased).
The space
The Cottage (Queen size bed) is located on the left side of the driveway. There is a parking spot designated for guests.
It is set back from the road for quiet. Also, is set at a distance from the Main House so is extremely private and quiet.
Guest access
Full use of the Cottage.
Fenced in backyard for your four legged pets where they can run. Please pick up after your dog and make sure gates are closed completely. Pet fee of $60 is per dog.
The rest of the backyard is for the owners.
Other things to note
Beach towels, chairs and beach toys available for use. Local beaches are located within Harwich and are a short drive.
House is set back from Main St with a long driveway which also allows you to drive through to Bank Street.

Charming, immaculate private lakefront apartment. One bedroom with king bed and full size sleep sofa. Full bathroom, shower and tub. Galley kitchen, stove, refrigerator, microwave, washer/ dryer.
Living/dining space has queen size futon and HD TV. Secure WIFI and cable. Password supplied at check-in. The private balcony overlooking pristine Long Pond has an umbrella table and Weber propane grill. Outdoor shower. Private beach and dock access, kayaks and life preservers available for guest use.
The space
Although the listing states private room, this airbnb affords you with an entire private apartment with a private entrance. Our guests may enjoy all that our property has to offer including swimming, kayaking, horseshoes and basketball. Life preservers are provided and are required to be worn when using the kayaks. Beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers are available for your day at the beach.
The property is centrally located on the lower cape. It is close to Nantucket Sound, Cape Cod Bay and the National Seashope Park and beaches. The Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path can be accessed 1 mile down the road. Harwich boasts many fine restaurants and is home to the Freedom Ferry which offers daily trips to the island of Nantucket. Sport fishing is also offered at Saquetucket Harbor.
Guest access
Parking is available in the private driveway where guests have a reserved space in front of the left garage door. Access to the private entrance will be provided prior to guest arrival. We also allow access to the garage for bike storage and access to coolers, umbrellas, life jackets etc.
During your stay
Although we live on the property, we are often out and about and you may not ever see us however, we are always available to answer any questions or to make recommendations.
Other things to note
The Cape offers extensive bike trails known as the Rail Trail. Guests are welcome to store their bikes in the garage.
