Charming Bed and Breakfasts in Wellfleet, MA

Enjoy your Cape Code get-away in a rustic dwelling close to town in a quiet residential neighborhood. The building was created in 2010 as a part-time work space and evolved to a comfortable private summer dwelling with an outdoor stone patio. This is a perfect fit for those who love an outdoor shower (the one shower is outside). We are in walking distance to Great Island and Duck Harbor. We have a 3-night minimum, but you will want to stay longer!

The space
The property offers two floors - an open living, dining & kitchen main floor; the kitchen has a 2-burner hot plate, microwave, toaster, blender, electric kettle, and french press for coffee. Upstairs has a high ceiling bedroom with a sky-light, a half- bath and includes large table for writing or working. All cotton linens, towels, paper goods are provided. The shaded outdoor patio has a grill and dining table with 4 chairs.

We want to note that the stairs to the bed and bathroom are a bit steep and would be easy with some agility.

The space
We renovated our sweet guest cottage in 2017. and built new bathroom in 2021. Equipped with a full kitchen (no microwave or dishwasher), indoor shower plus enclosed outdoor shower (with amazing water pressure), a barbeque grill, a brand new king size bed and full size futon. Enjoy your freshly shucked Wellfleet oysters around the dining table for 8 on the lovely screen porch just off the main room. The space is perfect for couples and small families, but please note that both the futon and the king bed are in the same large main room. Beach towels for two provided at no charge. Walk to town and the harbor, or rent bikes and visit Wellfleet's best ocean beaches and kettle ponds, all within a ten minute drive or 20 minute bike ride.

The cottage is located in the yard behind our 1880s main house, where we spend much of the summer with our friendly dog, Sasha and indoor cats Willa and Pepper. The pets are only there when we're there. When we're at the main house, we'll be happy to share our recommendations for a great trip to Wellfleet and the Outer Cape.

The cottage itself has its own private backyard, separate from ours, where you can relax in the shade when you need a break from the beach, and grill in the evenings.

Other things to note
The per stay cleaning fee of $100 includes provision of bed linens and towels (bath and beach) for two. For bookings of 3-4 people there will be an additional charge of $12 per person per night for an extra set of bed linens and towels.

The sleeping room is separated from the screen porch by a curtain but not by a door. If the weather is cool you can close the large casement windows on the porch. We also provide a small space heater.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish studio oasis. Looking for new, relaxing, and modern? This is the spot! Walk to Mass Audubon. Bike to Marconi Beach 1.3 miles on the bike trail that runs adjacent to our development. Local restaurants. Flea market and Wellfleet Drive, .9 miles. There is a small market just on the Eastham and Wellfleet line. They sell simple items, sandwiches, and libations. Owners are on site, There is a private, separate entrance for this space.

The space
This is a beautiful space. Comfortable furniture, new bed, all tile shower, a hybrid kitchen with a small induction cooktop, and many other amenities that can all be stored away for a clean, modern space. Please note that there is no traditional oven in this space. Not many like this in Wellfleet! A truly relaxing space!

This is a second-floor space with an upper private deck to relax and grill. It is not suitable for more than two people or for children under the age of 12.

Other things to note
There is an outdoor deck with privacy screening, an umbrella, a small table, two seats, and an electric Ninja Grill. In the Kitchen, we have a toaster oven, microwave, Ninja air fryer, tea kettle, coffee maker, and induction hot plate. We do not have a traditional oven cooktop.

Couple/family fun all year in a charming, private Cape Cod cottage w/ screened in porch, patio & outdoor shower (in Nov/Dec/Jan becomes a Gingerbread cottage). The space
Perfect for a couple or a family with 2 children, who are old enough to climb up and down the loft ladder. The loft has room to sleep in 2 beds, floor space for luggage, and about 5' ceiling height.

Kitchenette has 2 small fridges, 2- burner cooktop (for small or medium pots), toaster oven, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, french press & more.
There is a Weber gas grill just outside the kitchen for your use.

There is a private Cape Cod outdoor shower (in addition to indoor shower). Outside you have access to a charcoal barbecue & a gas grill as well as outdoor chairs & a fire pit (we supply campfire wood). The yard is a ice place to relax in Adirondack chairs, play bocce or corn hole, or stream on wifi.
We have off-street parking and a quiet, shaded yard with no neighbors looking in, on a tree-lined road that's nice for walking. The property also has access to the Route 6 bike lanes.

Other things to note
Our cottage is transformed during Nov/Dec/Jan into a Gingerbread Cottage with cozy flannel sheets, plenty of hot chocolate/coffee, holiday mugs and seasonal stories to curl up and read. There are holiday sites explore as well as the beaches and woods, which are great places for taking a stroll all year round.
Wellfleet and the Outer Cape is known for galleries, boutique shops, restaurants, performing arts and beautiful, lively Wellfleet Harbor. But the most wondrous and enduring feature of the Outer Cape in every season, especially after the busy summer, is the outdoors - from the beaches to the ponds and walking trails of the Cape Cod National Seashore. We are situated just off Route 6, which runs through the middle of the outer Cape, making us a quick 5-8 minute drive to the Atlantic ocean or Cape Cod Bay.

The space
Our garden studio nestled on 2 acres of private land, where tranquility meets breathtaking views of the Herring River marsh. This unique loft-style guest house close to Wellfleet's best beaches, has its own private entrance and offers a dining room, kitchenette, sitting area with tv and large bedroom. The bedroom (accessed by stairs) also has a seating area, tv, dedicated work space and enough room for yoga/meditation. Newly installed AC mini-splits on both floors.

The space
The guest house first floor has an open floor plan with living room, dining room and kitchenette as well as a full bathroom. Barn doors open up to a small patio. The second floor is a spacious loft-style bedroom with king bed and seating area. There is a long desk with two chairs, tv, as well as plenty of floor space for meditation or yoga.

Guest access
Guests can access the entire guest house except for the basement and adjacent main house which is rented separately. Other amenities include two large-screen tvs and high-speed Wi-Fi. We provide a comforter and freshly laundered sheets and towels, including beach towels for use during your stay. Guests are permitted to bring pets on a case by case basis only. Please reach out with details about your pet. Additional pet cleaning fee is $125. Smoking is NOT permitted. Be aware that the basement, hosts a property manger, and adjacent main house is rented separately so you will potentially be sharing the driveway with other guests. There is ample parking however.

Spacious grounds with sun and shade, outdoor hot shower, picnic table and outdoor seating, serene view of Great Island, great swimming beach. Location is close to town center, library, pier, restaurants, galleries, playground, tennis and golf. Weekly rentals only (Sat-Sat).

The space
The East House cottage is a historic 1700s era dwelling, attached by one wall to the original farmhouse, one of the earliest structures in Wellfleet. It has a private entrance, and a back door facing the beach. Inside, the cottage has wood floors, exposed beams and a decorative, non-working fireplace. The main bedroom has a queen size firm mattress, an armoire, and plenty of shelves for your clothes. The second bedroom has a double and twin sized beds. In the common area there is a dining table for 4, a large sofa and armchairs. There is also a small additional room off the main room with cable TV and a daybed. The kitchen is small, with a new fridge and gas stove/oven, but you may prefer grilling outside with a choice of either gas or charcoal grill. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub with Euro-shower attachment, although guests often opt for the private outdoor hot shower.

Guest access
The East House has its own parking area, spacious grounds, private outdoor picnic table, clothesline for bathing suits, and a path down to the beach. The beach is for renters' use only. This is a private Wellfleet Bay, kid-friendly beach with lovely swimming at high tide and adventures galore at low tide (you can see the oyster farmers at work).
