This roomy, air conditioned, studio apartment is ideal for two people or two people and a young child (under 2 yrs), who are seeking very comfortable accommodations for a getaway to the outer cape and the best it has to offer. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to National Seashore land and hiking trails to ponds. It is located above a detached garage but we do not keep cars in the garage so there isn't any car noise or exhaust fumes. You will have full access to the garage for secure storage and playing ping pong and a darts. We provide 2 beach chairs and an umbrella located in the garage. Guests have a private entrance and although the garage is located next to the main house, your privacy is important to us. You will have keyless entry and we sent you the code the morning of arrival. We are available through the VRBO app to help with any requests. The apartment has cathedral ceilings so it feels very roomy. It features an efficiency kitchen (not a full kitchen), a large bath, a large closet, large screen tv and cable, free wifi, and a private outdoor area equipped with a gas grill, a dining table and chaise lounges. Located in the beautiful, quiet Wellfleet Woods development, this property is surrounded by national seashore land. - "This home is very cozy, as the description says, but you will be spending most of your time on the deck or exploring Lieutenants Island. The deck has expansive views of the bayside and harbor, with gorgeous scenes of clouds, water, and sand. Easy for kayaking and beach enjoying, Walking out 1/4 mile at low tide is really fun, our dog loved it! Given the tides and limitations of travel, you can’t pass off the island for a period around high tide, but it is great to really live by the tides on your vacation! Drew was great to work with. The kitchen is very usable. We cooked up terrific local fish on the grill easily. The family room is comfortable as well. The Wi-fi is fine, but a little limited on the island. Beautiful places to explore, very relaxed environment, and all the rest that Wellfleet has to offer also. Very memorable experience!"

The barn is just as it looks in the photos on this page - it is clean, bright, and airy. The owners have taken obvious care in making the space feel comfortable and lovely, from the paint colors to the well placed art and accents. We traveled with our 7 year old son, and he appreciated the two tree swings in the yard, as well as the platform in one of the trees. He also enjoyed choosing each night between the Harry Potter bed or the bed in the other private nook upstairs. We all enjoyed the chickens that came over to visit each afternoon! The location is perfect for us - quiet and secluded-feeling, but a short drive or bike ride from town. We are already thinking ahead to when we can book the house for next summer! "

Not only can you walk to the legendary Wellfleet Cinemas and the Cape Cod Rail Trail, you'll also be an easy drive or bike ride from Sunken Meadow Beach (less than two miles), Marconi Beach (four miles), Wellfleet town center (six miles), and several serene ponds.

Built in 1836, this home was moved to its present location on a private, sandy road sometime in the years since. Today, it's a matter of blocks from the 937-acre Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and its five miles of walking trails. It's a great location and setup for beach-goers, with beach chairs, an umbrella, and life jackets provided for your days on the shore and an outdoor shower (with hot water!) waiting to welcome you home.

This light-filled home has been renovated from top to bottom, offering such modern comforts as central AC and heat (including in the sunroom). Yet it also maintains much of its character through beamed ceilings, charming built-ins, and wide-plank wood floors. Begin each morning with an invigorating workout in the basement (offering a standing bike and rowing machine, along with a keyboard for the family musician), then head upstairs for coffee on the patio with a view of the surrounding woodlands.

In the afternoons, get the gas grill going for a barbecue, prepare your favorite side dishes in the bright, well-equipped kitchen, and gather around the dining room table for dinner. The open living space is a delight in the evenings, whether you're playing board games or streaming movies on the Amazon Fire TV Stick. The bedrooms are in one wing of the house, including one with its own exterior entrance and a desk for remote work. - "If you are looking for a cute house in a quiet location down a dirt road and in the woods (away from Rt 6 traffic), for a max of 6 guests - this could be it! The only noise we heard came from the flock of turkeys that checked up on us daily. The house has the most important amenities for a family beach vacay: outdoor shower, ac, washer/drier and dishwasher. Even beach towels were included. The kitchen was pretty well stocked for a first time rental, with the few things that were missing hopefully to be added (basic spices, blender, a tv that works and perhaps a vacuum cleaner). We had a great time and would happily rent this house again."

Private bucolic setting on the ocean side of Wellfleet. Walk to the beautiful Duck Pond. Woodsy, secluded, lovely home. Enter through the front door to the living room with cathedral ceilings, open to the dining room and kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Art flanks the walls in this cozy, homey bungalow. Off the dining room is the lovely screened in porch and deck for outside grilling and enjoying the private, wooded back yard. On this floor there is a full bath with tub/shower. First floor bedroom has a queen bed with a mini split and ceiling fan. The living room/kitchen/dining area is also cooled by the mini split. The house has a lovely flow on this floor for comfortable relaxing time with family and friends.

The side stairway up to the second floor ends in a loft-style bedroom that is open to living area below. (no doors). Here there are two twin beds, perfect for camping out. A ceiling fan moves the air. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and another minisplit, keeping it cool. There's a second full bath on this level. This is a sweet house that is relatively new to the rental market, but reviews have been great for this home. The proximity to Duck Pond (and other ponds) the lovely quiet neighborhood, the care the owner has taken to make it comfortable, make this the perfect Wellfleet getaway. Shorter off-season stays are available.

In the unfinished basement there is a washer/dryer. Also, bikes, beach chairs, and a clam rake with a basket!

A unique architectural design gives this lovely, eco-friendly two-bedroom, two-bathroom home a spacious and airy feel. Nestled on a private lot with beautifully manicured grounds, this bermed home is an ideal retreat for true Wellfleet lovers. The home is decorated with modern furnishings and artwork--a wonderful place to relax and unwind or create.

Enter the first floor with an open dining area and kitchen. The dining area has a large table with seating for twelve--perfect for a sit-down dinner with friends. The dining area opens to a well-equipped galley kitchen with granite counter tops and breakfast bar. There is an electric induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, drip coffeemaker and French press.

Just off the dining area is a book-filled den with comfortable seating, TV with Roku (stream your own content), two Bose Bluetooth speakers and a slider to the patio and yard. Doors from the den lead to the first of the home's two bedrooms suites. One on either side of the home, each offering optimal comfort and privacy. The bedroom off the den has a queen bed and bathroom with soaking tub and separate room with toilet and sink. This bathroom is also accessed from the kitchen. The second bedroom--on the other side of the home--has a queen bed and an en suite bathroom with shower. There is a private door to the exterior in this bedroom. Both bedrooms have ductless split unit air conditioners.

There is an open and bright living room loft with a cathedral ceiling, comfortable lounging sofas, ceiling fan and a flat screen smart TV with cable and WiFi. The loft, which opens to the dining area below, has a slider to an amazing screen porch with skylights, lounging sofas, table with chairs and enclosed outdoor shower. The living room may also be accessed by a spiral staircase from the dining area below.

Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the yard and gardens--all treated for mosquitoes and ticks. A truly magical setting, there are multiple places to steal away and enjoy a good book, a glass of wine or conversation. There is outdoor seating on the patio overlooking the lawn, and of course, the wonderful screen porch with dining table seating ten looking out over the upper patio and gardens. The property abuts three-acres of conservation land.

There are three ductless split unit air conditioners, one in each bedroom and one in the open loft. Ten automatic, solar-powered skylights throughout the home let in plenty of light. Pick up something at the fish market and cook up dinner on the gas or charcoal grill. Washer and dryer conveniently located in the laundry room just off the kitchen.

Although peaceful and serene, the home is close to all the best of Wellfleet. Take the back roads to town center--only 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bike. Come visit the charming seaside village of Wellfleet. This artist's house, a short walk from the harbor and the center of town, has a cozy, private room with it's own entrance and a quiet back yard off the street.

The space
COVID accommodations: My room is now blocked before and after each stay to give us time to clean and disinfect the entire space before each reservation. We will be following Airbnb's recommendations and checklists for cleaning and disinfecting the guest area before you arrive. Our room has a separate entrance so we should be able to keep an easy social distance.

The Town of Wellfleet has cancelled all permits for activities on public property through October and closed the parking lot at our one beach that accepts day passes. Please check the towns website, the Cape Cod National Seashore's website and the Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce website for updates on closures or openings.

Pleasant room in artist's house in the village of Wellfleet, a pretty New England fishing village, home of the famous Wellfleet oyster, situated about 12 miles from Provincetown, almost at the end of Cape Cod and the only place on the Eastern Seaboard where you can watch the sun rise and set over water. Our house is within easy walking distance to the center of the village of Wellfleet where there are a number of restaurants, bars, shops, and, of course, the pier (an excellent place to watch the sunset!) and public transportation (The Flexbus). Walkout-basement room, separate private entrance, a half bath inside and an outdoor shower. (there is no shower inside). Picture window facing east, hardwood floors, full size bed with memory foam mattress, refrigerator, coffee maker and electric kettle. Not fancy, but comfortable. Room opens on the back of the house onto secluded grassy yard. We are longtime year-round residents of Wellfleet, with an intimate knowledge of the area and are happy to provide information about area restaurants, entertainment, beaches and ponds, to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

The Cape is a safe get away! 2nd floor master suite w/ private entrance & bathroom in 1880 antique home w/ lots of character. We live on 1st floor so you have total privacy. 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds & 2 skylights. Enter by a stairway to a small deck w/ a new sliding glass door overlooking 3 acres of woods. Once inside there's a space w/ 2 single beds. 2 steps up to the queen bed, a chair & the spacious bathroom is around the corner. NEW (2021) Mini Split AC unit has been installed.

The space
We clean & disinfect for you ourselves. This is totally separate from our living space. A perfect place for a couple looking to get away. Bargain priced for 2 travelers add $20/person/night. Also good for a family or group of friends. We can include a single air mattress to increase to hosting 5. Combine with Abundant Blessings Cottage (on our property and on Airbnb) for a larger group of 8-10.
There is excellent airflow in this space. We have installed a NEW Mini Split AC/Heat unit and we provide fans. A great place to watch the wide variety of song birds.

Guest access
Feel free to sit in the chairs in the yard. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit, roast some marshmallows in the evening. You may arrange to use our gas grill or charcoal barbecue.

Other things to note
There are no cooking facilities with this rental but we will provide you with great recommendations of places to grab a bite to eat. The space has lots of air flow, and we provide fans, during extreme heat there is air conditioning that can be installed in the sliding glass door. When the ac is in the door it cannot be locked. When there is a heat wave we cannot guarantee it will cool off upstairs.
We are off the quiet section of Route 6 about 1/2 mile from Moby Dick's Restaurant.

Quietly situated 3/4 mile from Gull Pond, 2 miles from ocean beaches, and 1.3 mile from the center of Wellfleet. This is an ideal spot if you are looking for a comfortable base from which to enjoy all that Wellfleet has to offer! Studio apt with microwave, wifi, but PLEASE NOTE: there is no stove and no television.

The space
Comfortable, quiet studio above our garage which is separate from the house- with queen sized bed, full bath with tiled shower. Bed and bath linens are provided. The studio has basic kitchen equipment including a microwave, a small refrige with a very small freezer, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, French press, kitchen utensils, dishes, silverware. There is no stove, no television, and no iron. There is heat and air conditioning. Sitting out on your private deck, you'll hear birds in the am, maybe owls at night. Turkeys, fox, and deer walk right through this property.

Guest access
Short, moderate uphill, solar lit walk on a mulched pathway to access the unit which is located above the garage and not attached to the house. We do not use the garage when we have guests so it is both private and quiet. There is a keypad for easy access and while we try to be here to welcome guests, the unit is accessible without host being at home.

Other things to note
The studio has one queen size bed and is suited for one or 2 adults. Housekeeping (cleaning, bed linen changes, etc) is not provided during the stay, however, we are happy to provide fresh towels and linens as needed. Coffee and tea are provided.
Wellfleet Market is fine for incidentals, but if you want to do significant grocery shopping it is a good idea to stop before you get to Wellfleet. There is a Shaw's Market right off Exit 12 in Orleans. There is also a Stop & Shop just off the rotary in Orleans.
Fyi.... - the AT&T reception in Wellfleet is generally sketchy and often reception is poor at our location. Verizon works fine. The wifi is good for streaming.
A Wellfleet Beach sticker is required to park at the Wellfleet ocean, bay or pond parking lots between the 3rd Saturday in June and Labor Day. More information is available at the Town of Wellfleet website. Daily rates are available at White Crest Beach where you can pay a daily rate. Mayo Beach on the bay side does not require a sticker. A sticker is also not required for Cape Cod National Seashore beaches where you can pay by the day.

As this is a ground floor unit, you will hear ambient noise in the unit above and in the design studio space next to your unit. We do our best to be quiet and courteous, and abide by the same quiet hours that we ask you to.

This is a private unit but is part of a home where the owners work and live full time. We will do our best to be sure that you have a comfortable stay close to all of Wellfleet's amenities.

This room has 2 twin beds. They can be put together to form a king sized bed, but I ask that you return the beds to their original positions upon departure. The room also has a small closet and a dresser. In addition there is a mini fridge, coffee maker ( both Mr. Coffee & a Kerig-type one) and microwave with plates and utensils. Linens are provided as well. It is air-conditioned and has a small table & chairs outside.
I supply organic, French roast pods, if you prefer otherwise, bring what you like.

We’re a local family of four—Susannah, Russell, and our daughters Aurelia Skye and Helena Rose—living in a private section of the house. The rest of the home and much of the property has been lovingly renovated and restored as part of our small, family-run bed & breakfast. The Sunshine House is filled with character and stories, furnished with restored and repurposed treasures from our local Habitat for Humanity store and antique finds with rich histories. A wonderful Wellfleet location! This second floor rental has a spacious bedroom with a queen bed, bathroom with a tub and living area with a well stocked kitchen. You would have the whole upstairs to yourself with a private door to come and go. You are also invited to use our pool at anytime! We're located very close to the Cape Cod Rail Trail for miles of bike riding, PB Boulangerie Bistro, Marconi Beach, the iconic Wellfleet drive-in and so much more. The space is clean, comfortable and suited for adults only. Feel free to use the pool and enjoy the outdoor space. You will need to use the set of stairs to come and go. The bedroom is spacious with large closets and the living area has a small well equipped kitchen. There is also a kitchen table, seating and TV with cable and wifi.

Guest will occupy the entire upstairs, you'll have your own entry door with a key. The upstairs is 2 rooms plus a full bathroom. Also enjoy the pool area for the outside.
