Harwich MA is located near the halfway mark of Cape Cod. This is the perfect location to reach many attractions on the Cape. The home is close to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, Harwich, Dennis and Brewster beaches, Kayaking at Bass River, Monomoy fishing charters and much much more.....

The drive to the beaches is all back roads and not main roads, so it’s quick with a no stress drive. Almost all beaches offer daily parking for on-site or weekly passes can be purchased at the town halls. Because of the variety, we like to explore multiple beaches and our favorite beaches are Mayflower, Corporation, West Dennis, Skaket, Paines Creek, Cold Storage, and the best-kept secret Crowe's Pasture.

The home is on the Dennis line and close to Brewster making Dennis, Harwich, Brewster and Orleans beaches within 5-10 minutes.

The best part of a long day at the beach - 1.3 miles to Sand Pond in Harwich which is usually our stop on the way back where the kids love to visit and rinse off from a long day at the beach.

Red River beach with its warm waters of Nantucket Sound, Bank Street and Pleasant Street beaches are some of our favorites! The location is perfect for those early mornings or evening walks any time of the year! This tastefully decorated property with nautical/ beach theme has 3 bedrooms all with king beds, 3 full baths, outdoor shower and a master suite with a Jacuzzi tub. Lower level has bunk beds and comfortable seating area with games, books and more! Crib and rail guards, folding cot available by request. Our lovely owner managed home was renovated to include well equipped maple kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and oak hardwood floors on entire first and second floors. There is a private 20x13 deck with table and chairs overlooking a manicured flat grassy yard large enough for ball playing, croquet, bean bag toss etc. Stone wall with mature plantings provide privacy.

Relax in the bright and sunny living room located on the first floor with palladium ceiling which leads to the dining room and deck area.. The spacious outdoor shower encased with red cedar is classic for the cape! There are beach chairs, boggie boards, beach umbrella, coolers, and assorted games for your use. For a rental, we found the beds to be quite comfortable too! The kitchenette (microwave, stovetop, fridge) was enough for us to cook what we wanted. We also enjoyed our nights on the porch, grilling and watching the sunset. The neighborhood was calm and quiet, with beach access on the lake only a few steps away. We pretty much spend our whole time out there when in the house. Coffee and breakfast in the morning. Card games and reading in the afternoon and drinks in the evening. It’s a great spot to watch storms roll through too. And the icing on the cake is bucks pond. Having very easy access to this freshwater pond is so amazing. It’s shallow for the little kids to splash and play for hours on end. We love spending the day there, doing a little fishing early morning, or ending the day with a swim in the pond. Jennifer and Glenn are super gracious hosts and they are close by so very easy to communicate with if you need anything. We are already dreaming about our stay next summer!!"

Just a quick 5 minutes off exit 82 (old exit 10) mid Cape, our home is located in Historic Harwich Center on a large private lot with the Cape Cod bike path bordering the back of the property for easy access.

There is a saltwater pool on the property and it is just a 12 minute bike ride (3 minute car ride) to Harwich Port beaches, so you can choose from a stay at home and cook or get out and play.

Less than a mile to two golf courses.

Some things to keep in mind with the space:

-This is an antique home that has been lovingly restored bit by bit. If you are looking for a quintessential nostalgic stay on Cape to relax and unplug, this is the house for you.

- It has a heated salt water pool so please keep that in mind with children, etc.

-Harwich, MA is the home of the Cranberry Festival which takes place each year in September
